Heya guys! As I had mentioned before in some other topic http://kh13.com/forum/topic/50724-what-if-roxas-lost-his-battle-with-saix/ I was wondering what would happen if Roxas lost his battle with Saix. After all this is an important part of the story. With one single escape whole story has a twist. But what if this twist wouldn't happen? My theory is right below.

 

 

Chapter One: Twist In Fate

 

Roxas was angrily walking through bright white corridors of Castle That Never Was. Gripping the Keyblade so tight that his fingers were starting to become red as he again thought about argue with Axel.

 

Duo to the recent events he didn’t want to trust him anymore. It wasn’t just about Xion or Keyblade anymore, but about Organization. Roxas knew so little about it, but had worked for it ever since he had joined. Blonde was collecting hearts only hoping to spend the rest of the day on Clock Tower eating ice cream with Xion and Axel. Then it happened, the day when Organization manipulated with both Xion and him just to force them in battle. Fortunately Axel stopped them both before they could seriously harm each other. They started doubting into Organization.

 

Then it happened again, Xion ran away and Axel let her do it. Now it was Roxas’ turn to act. He has seen and heard more than enough about Organization. Even Axel has changed and didn’t want to tell him anything. Roxas had given him one more chance to tell him about Organization’s true motives, about Keyblade and mysterious boy named Sora. Axel only left him with more questions.

 

Blonde’s steps echoed through cold walls as he reached the gate. Giant door separated him from the great world behind it. Just one single push of the door and he would be out. That’s at least what he thought.

 

Leaning against the wall was an obstacle that was ready to stop him at all causes. Xemnas’ right hand, leader of the missions or just Saix looked at him even evilly as usual.

 

“Going somewhere?” blue haired asked in cold way. Roxas ignored him and kept walking towards the door.  “Leaving is not an option.” Saix continued.

“I’m not asking for one.” Roxas saidas he reached for the door.

“What will you do when you get out? You have no purpose there, only here you have it.”

“Maybe I don’t have it there, but I certainly don’t have it in Organization.”

 

Roxas’s words sent rage into superior’s adviser. Making quick move towards boy he yelled his words out.

 

“Who gave you the name? Who taught you how to fight? Who picked you up when you were as foolish as dusk? It wasOrganization!” Saix grabbed front cloth of blonde’s cloak.

“Maybe… but that’s all what Organization ever done for me. Everything else is hiding in lies and illusions!” boy summoned his keyblade to get off Saix’s grip.

“Organization can abandon you, but that doesn’t mean you can do the same.” advisor got into his fighting mode summoning claymore.

 

Keyblade wielder reflexively dodged first slash of the claymore. Second one have come only a moment later, scratching blonde’s arm. Boy let out quiet yelp as he aimed at Saix’s legs. His hit was blocked by the claymore that also got him another nasty cut, this time on leg.

 

“Give up. You’re no match for me, Number 13.” Saix slashed one more time.

“Maybe I’m just your puppet, but no longer your number!” Roxas shouted as he came close to heavy weapon.

“Puppet? Is that what you think about yourself? Fair enough for someone stupid enough to make some believe friendship.”

“I don’t care what you think! For me it was real!” blonde started hitting blocking power of the claymore angrily.

“True friendship is something you will never experience as the Nobody. You blinded yourself with an illusion.” Saix grinned while seeing Roxas’ try to break the block.

“Even so I made memories that won’t be forgotten!” blonde yelled back.

“With who? Traitor who kept hiding everything from you or a puppet which took most of your powers?” advisor made a blast that sent Roxas flying against the wall “Just look at yourself, alone and weak!”

 

Painful hit not only harmed him but also left the mark on the wall. Place where he was thrown was heavily chippedand damaged. Roxas had hard time getting up, seeing how blue haired was coming closer.

 

“Face it! Your place is here and nowhere else.” words left Saix’s mouth that also sent rage into Roxas’ eyes.

“Shut up!” boy picked keyblade with unknown speed which surprised advisor. With two sudden slashes Saix fell on his knees. “Who’s weak now?”

“I was told not to damage you too much. You don’t give much of a choice at that.” Saix stood up as nothing happened. Next moment he was in front of the gate blocking another Roxas’ attempt to escape. “I’m telling you one last time. Return back to Grey Area!”

 

Roxas didn’t answer only attacked him one more time. Advisor grinned as he easily blocked slash of the keyblade.

 

“Is that so? You asked for it Number 13.” Saix shouted.

“Shut up! I’m no longer Number 13!” Roxas yelled when he realized his attacks didn’t do much of damage to Saix.

 

Blue haired grinned as he held his claymore behind his back. Suddenly it started changing as well as Saix’s face did. Blue hair became tousled, eyes wide and claymore much sharper. Blonde was scared of advisor like that. Man was no longer regular Nobody but truly dangerous creature stronger than huge Heartless that the boy ever faced.  White aurora appeared around him and two shockwaves quickly hit Roxas’ surprised body. Saix threw claymore on ground releasing countless blue flames. Keyblade wielder luckily dodged before shockwaves could hit him.

 

Saix had his arms spread and face in inhuman rage. Boy had hard time dodging his powerful smashes. For each hit with which he attacked, blue haired hit him three times more. Those weren’t just some basic hits like usual Nobodies would use. They were brutal and destroying with no any other goal than to defeat opponent.

Beside bruises and cuts from claymore Roxas also suffered sudden tiredness, slowly taking his body into control. He knew why Organization created Xion or why they forced them to battle each other. Xion’s and Roxas’ only purpose in Organization XIII was to one day defeat one of them and take their powers, turning into the ultimate weapon. Right now, Xion was the one who was taking powers. Every time she was

near him, Roxas could feel weaker when she was using unknown powerful strength. Come to think of it that must have been a reason why she left, to not harm him even more. But that still left mark in his fading ability to fight. Soon he could see everything blurry as his body stopped listening to him. Only thing that was still saving him was speed of dodging.

 

Saix kept throwing and smashing claymore around. For some attacks it wasn’t even clear if he was aiming at Roxas. That proved Saix was using power to only destroy everything he touched, totally not Nobody power.

 

For couple more minutes blonde could still dodged and done some basic attacks. Then his body couldn’t do it anymore. Hit of the sharp claymore that he could dodge not so long ago got him really hard on chest. Roxas let out all air that was forcedly hit from his lungs. Next moment he landed with back on the floor, claymore stabbed near his head. Boy still tried to get up reaching for the Keyblade. Saix angrily kicked it away and gave him another painful hit, this time in back.

 

Keyblade wielder nearly screamed, but without any power in his throat he couldn’t. Darkness in front of him was getting closer to the eyes. Even with body like this he still didn’t want to give up. Roxas’ hand reached for a Keyblade one more time, this time summoning it.

 

Blue haired grinned as he looked at member who no longer wanted to be one. Shaking hand with Keyblade aimed at Saix when he easily controlled claymore behind him.

 

“Is that so? Even with worthless body like yours you still want to fight? Just as expected for Keyblade wielder, fighting and never giving up.”advisor stared at the boy who was trying hard to stand up. With last bit of a power Roxas attacked Saix who not only dodged quickly, but also used one of his powerful moves.

 

Sharp claymore burst in blue flames as shockwaves surrounded the blonde. Each shockwave hit him on different part of his body until blue flames reached their limit and attacked him fully. Everything happened so fast that Roxas couldn’t even block or prepare for pain at least. Destroying power of the blue flames and claymore knocked him on ground, chipping the floor beneath him. He was unconscious immediately his body met the floor. Keyblade flew from his hand, disappearing in the flesh of light.

 

Advisor lightly got back into his normal form, hair becoming neat and claymore disappearing. He got to unconscious blonde who was breathing really lightly, almost as he wasn’t breathing at all.

 

“That’s what you get when you get on Organization’s bad side.” Saix muttered as he picked Roxas. Blonde’s body was limp like broken doll. After all he was worth as much as it.

 

Saix used the portal to teleport right in front of his blue haired superior. Xemnas, as always had his Nobody look when he saw blue haired carrying unconscious boy.

 

“Did he try to escape?” Xemnas askedwith deep and this time more serious voice.

“It would appear so. I needed to use force to not let him out of the castle. Otherwise he would seriously mess up with our plans.” blue haired replied as he took another look at Roxas’ body.

“We’ll need to keep him somewhere. After all we still his power of collecting hearts.” superior said as he was starting to walk away.

 

Saix obediently followed him until they reached lower sections of the castle. There was a cell only known as Soundless Prison. It was actually meant for other person, but that could wait. Cell was opened by Xemnas who also took Roxas in. Lifting his hands, boy was held in air

by Xemnas’ power. Next moment, four glowing rings appeared and kept Roxas in air by his wrists and ankles. With that his ability to move in any way was taken.

 

“How we will convince him to keep collecting hearts?” Saix asked while looking at now imprisoned betrayer.

“We have plans for that kind of situation. But first…” Xemnas drew X in air “We’ll need to mark him, so we know where he is all the time.”

 

Glowing X stayed in air for some time then flew right next to Roxas’ chest. It blinked and next moment it got into unconscious boy. Keyblade wielder whimpered quietly as X appeared on his chest.

 

“Even if he runs away one more time, we’ll know for every single step he’ll make.” superior smiled as he left the cell along with advisor. When they left some Nobodies appeared guarding the cell with betrayer of Organization XIII.

 

Not so far from the cell familiar redhead was leaning against the wall. After argue with his best friend he couldn’t bring himself to tell him the truth. Thinking for some time he decided to at least bring some sense into blonde’s confused head. But he was too late. When looking for Roxas he reached the gate when Saix was about to give the last powerful move. Axel couldn’t stop his former friend from harming Roxas. He could only
watch how blonde’s body was taken like the worthless doll.  

 

With crossed arms and closed eyes Axel sighed.

“How could this happen?”

 

 

 

Here goes the first chapter. I really need to make a reason for Roxas to lose in battle and study Saix's berserk mode. As for other things, yeah four glowing rings are the same one as in KH 2 where Roxas is captured by huge Nobody in the beginning of the game.

And I'm a bit sorry for not posting this last week as I promised. I had hard time in school plus I'm currently recovering from the heavy leg injury.

wow! Amazing work there. Maybe they are gonna turn Roxas into Xehanort like they were planning from the beginning?

That looks amazing. Now that Roxas didn't leave, he could possibly be one of the vessels of darkness. Not to mention that Sora will not wake up as long as the Organization has Roxas.

Wow, this is an interesting turn of events.  It actually makes me think of what would have happened had Roxas lost the battle against Saix.  Wow, this is one heck of a story!  As always Lara, you are one heck of a storyteller, and your first chapter has set the board for the pieces to fit in. Nice work my awesome friend!
