I doubt it. Namura said that some of the lights would be a surprise. Those are to obvious.

We´ll never know... 

It's a legit interview but only a select few were able to view it. Xaon is one of those few.

In regards to Demyx: it still does not seem likely that Xehanort would want a slacker on his A-team. 

 

In regards to Xion: given the rules of time travel that have been set out, there would have to be a version of Xion in the present in order for the Xion of the past to arrive. Given that Xion is now reverted back into Sora's memories, there isn't enough of Xion to time travel with.

xion is sora right? well a replica and for that matter she lives inside him so couldnt she time travel to a place with sora in it? and if xehanort does a possession to her too then would a time with xehanort in it count as a destination point?

Well the obvious ones are the Xehanorts of course, those are confirmed and will probably keep their roles as the XIII darknesses:

 

Ansem

Xemnas

Master Xehanort(BBS)

Young Xehanort

Braig(He's half Xehanort now, so im pretty sure he's gonna stay)

Isa(Possibly)

Vanitas(If he can possibly be recruited, and he's pure darkness, since he's all the darkness from Ven)

 

The confirmed lights for sure are:

 

Riku(Resistance to Darkness, can't be recruited for Darknesses, plus he's a keyblade master)

Kairi(She's a POH and has no darkness at all)

Mickey(This one is obvious)

Ventus(All of his darkness was extracted when Vanitas seperated from him, so he's technically pure light now)

Aqua (She's a keyblade master, fighting Heartless in the ROD for 12 years now)

 

Possible ones:

 

Terra (Possibly, not completely confirmed, if he can be saved, Riku can teach him how to wield Light and Darkness, without being corrupted by it, im sure of it)

Lea (I mean, he was part of Org. XIII, but thats only cause he was a nobody, plus he has a keyblade now)

 

I know you guys are gonna say, "WHAT ABOUT SORA!???????!!!!!!"

 

Well, Nomura said we should be surprised by some of the lights. I don't know why, but somehow, i get the feeling Sora might be booted from the 7 lights. Even though if Ven is freed, Sora won't lose his keyblade, after what happened in DDD, there's still a possibility Sora could be corrupted. It almost happened in DDD, who's to say it can't happen in KH3. Besides, DO THE MATH.

 

Those are 8 people in total. There are only going to be 7 LIGHTS. Face it, someone is gonna get booted from the final team. Most likely it'll be either Sora(It could happen), or most likely, it'll be Terra. But if he can be saved before the final encounter, and Riku teaches him to wield Darkness and not get corrupted, then someone else is gonna get removed from the team.

 

Also, Roxas and Xion can't be there as the 7 lights, because, They returned to Sora and are inside him now. They technically will be there, in a spiritual sense, since they are Sora now.

Anyone could be a light. Goofy could even be a light.

 

I actually hope Sora isn't a light. I would like it if he were something else entirely. Or just a normal boy. Not saying I don't want him to be the one who defeats Xehanort. I want him to. I just think it would be great if the normal kid were to save the day. Even when all of these special lights are around fighting.

 

Also, both Xion and Roxas could be lights. The data Ansem gives Riku at the end of DDD is the key to bringing them back.

Terra may get saved but it will probably take a while. Most likely he already is a darkness at the moment.

 

Xion and Roxas will come back. They are also the ones that need to be saved. The data that Ansem the Wise gives Riku at the end of DDD is the key to bringing them back.
