Sora, what's the "stuff you have to take care of"? (3D ending spoilers)

Recommended Posts

Title says all: After Sora woke up from his slumber in KH3D, he said he have some stuff to take care of....then he went in Traverse Town where every Spirit greeted him....Now,do you guys think he went there just for his Spirits friends or he also have to do something else like searching for something or doing something relevant for the future? Plus if he unlocked Traverse Town keyhole,he accordingly woke it up from its slumber, right? So I was also wondering how come that the Spirits are still there if TT has woken up from its slumber?

I dont think it had much relevents to the story just a happy ending to make the player feel good

Actually is a very nice and happy ending, but he went there for the Spirits or there is something more that we don't know?

His "unfinished business" was to thank and say goodbye to his Dream Eaters who helped and supported him throughout his journey.  Even though we treat them like pets he'd see them as friends like Donald or Goofy.

He went to thank his spirits for the help they gave him. That scene was added during the final stages of 3D's production so it isn't going to be that big.

Yea I have no doubt about the fact he wanted to thank his Spirit, but maybe he have other things to do there xD After all Riku and the others said to him to be carefull..It could be just because they are worried as Friends or maybe it could be because they know that Sora have something somehow dangerous to do xD Whatever,if he went there only for thanking his Spirits, how come that they are still in TT even if it has woken  from its slumber?

Nomura: Right. Even though he only appears a little bit in the end of KH3D, when Sora was surrounded by Dream Eaters, you see that he smiled because of it.

— I see. Were there certain intentions in that scene with the Dream Eaters?

Nomura: That scene was added in the final stages of production. It wouldn’t feel right to have worked so hard raising the Dream Eaters without some sort of closure. Also, since Sora has obtained the power to open doors into the worlds of sleep, I purposely wanted to show a scene where he used that power.

This scene was shown to thank the DE and to show he can utilize the power of sleep.

Well the title could be misunderstood, what I want to know is if Sora have other things to do after thanking his Spirits :D

TT is an inbetween world meaning it can be awake and sleeping and anything you need it to be. Sora needed it to be a sleeping world to see his DE friends.

Traverse Town has special properties so it is was available to visit his dream eaters when he needed it.

This explain things, but if Sora used the power of sleep then he should wear his "world of sleep" outfit, right?

Yen Sid changed their clothes and they were in their younger bodies from KH1 and whatnot bc he sent them into the past in the beginning to enter the realm of sleep. He didnt need to time travel this time to open the realm of sleep since he obtained the power to open the realm of sleep.

Adding to what Flaming Lea said, I may be wrong but I think Sora only had a new outfit in the sleeping worlds (as in the outfit he changed into in Traverse Town) because of the Organisation wanting a way to track him without him knowing and so they changed his clothes to hide that sigil on his chest that allowed them to track his movements. Riku's new outfit on the other hand came as a result of him becoming Sora's dream eater when he delved inside Sora's dreams. Therefore new outfits are not required to travel through the sleeping worlds normally. That's why Sora and Riku were wearing their normal KH1 outfits when they first entered the sleeping worlds.

I knew about that in fact i said he should wear the outfit,I didn't said he should look like his younger self xD Just, I thought that Master Yen Sid clothes were definitively available even after completing the mark of mastery exam while entering the sleeping world :D

Well in my opinion I think that Master Yen Sid actually changed their clothes, Xehanort just added the sigil xD

It was both Yen Sid and MX . Yen Sid gave the original clothes change and then the Org added the Recusant Sigil after xDD

Why does that matter?

Wanna know? Easy: just because Kingdom Hearts have one of those plots that make you think about everything..I mean,it does matter for me because everything in Kingdom Hearts could be relevant,we all know how a simple little thing in the plot could be instead very relevant xD

He doesn't need to wear a certain outfit again just 'because'. Thats not very relevant when you know why he even wore it in the first place so he doesn't need to wear it again. You know the meaning behind it.

Well maybe it's not that relevant as you said, but seeing Sora wearing a certain outfit in the sleeping world made me wondering if it is available even after the mark of mastery exam :D You know, in short I was like "Sora,I see you in the sleeping world with a certain outfit but then you enter the sleeping world at the ending again and you wear your KH2 outfit....So is this sleeping world outfit useful for something or it's there just for a new look style? : " xD

If it was Yen Sid though, how did he manage to give them new outfits after they'd already entered the sleeping worlds? If his magic was able to reach them in the sleeping worlds he could have sent them some kind of magical aid when he realised they were in danger right? Though I guess that may have just been a detail that Nomura overlooked.
