I've been studying Japanese for 6 years,

some Latin for 6 years as well,

I also started studying French but then stopped,

and since I'm german and english is not my mothertongue I also studied that, for about 8-10 years.

A friend of mine uses random words of other languages to greet other people, I used to know how to introduce myself in finnish I wouldn't call it studying, though.

The only language i'm somewhat fluent apart from german is english.

In my school it was compulsory to learn one language alongside all your other studies.  At the time I could only choose between French and Spanish (now they offer Irish too), I would have liked Latin, Greek, or Japanese but they simply couldn't afford teachers for those for the one person who wants to learn it, so I learnt French, however it was for three years just.  When I'm older and have a stable income I'll most likely pay for Japanese lessons at least.

I've been studying Italian for about 3 years. I fell in love with the language and the culture all thanks to my professor. However, I still have some difficulty froming my sentences properly.
