"A little slower then suddenly I'm walking." Kerri replied, making no sign she had been startled. "I'm only using the chair when I'm going to school. I'll get my legs fully back into shape when after school."

Kerri realized that problems could be caused too if people realized her "useless" limbs were gaining muscles. That might not be a problem she could really avoid. She got out of her chair, folded it up and put it in the back of the truck. It was only after she had finished this that she realized she had done it one handed.

"And don't butt into private conversations with myself." she told Jason, with a slight hint of humor in her voice. "Me and myself can be quite uptight."

"Was that a joke little Ms.  Kerri?"  Jason laughed  "I'm shocked." Jason said as he started the truck.   They then drove to school without getting caught for skipping.  "Hey I gotta let you know.  I have a football game today.  Ya'll come come if you want.  I do need someone there just incase I wolf out.  I don't know I could get really mad while out on the field" Jason warned

Kerri frowned as she pulled her chair out and set it up.

"Then why are you playing?" She asked in a serious tone. "If you are worried you'll change, don't go. We don't need everybody knowing what we are."

She sat down in her wheelchair. After adjusting her position slightly, she looked up at Jason.

"Just call in sick or something. Wait til you feel more in control of your wolf."

"Well for all I know this could be a great stress reliever.  It could give me better control to be in a more physical position.  This could be exactly what I need" Jason said  "I also really miss football.  I was scared I wouldn't be able to play ever again and I'm really happy to be able to go" Jason said climbing out of his truck and making sure she got out okay.

Kerri got out and pulled her chair out of the back.

"Alright." she said, a little reluctantly. "Just don't leave it til you're so mad you change. If you start to feel it rising, get off the field. There are plenty of ways to explain it."

With her chair ready, Kerri sat down.

"I'll make sure me and the rest of the...pack...will be there."

Amelia shot up as her phone rang, papers russled allaround her as she stood up, "Hello?" She answered.

"Amelia, this is Ms. Dawes your dad's boss. We met the other day. I forgot to mention that i have renrolled you in your old high school. Since your dad has gotten himself into quite some trouble i have been instructed to watch over you."

"Thanks but im already super la-"

"Nonsense! Meet me infront of the school to get you into classes." She hung up.

Amelia sighed and groaned as she stood up. She wrapped herself in new bandages and pscked her back pack with extra ones in case. She threw on some clothes and slid her phone in her back pocket. She combed her messy black hair and laid out some hair dye so she could get to work on it after school. She walked to the school and saw Dawes outside.

"Good morning sunshine!" She said as Amelia walked up to her. She had completely changed since the night she met her.

"Well then lets get you inside, and remember im your motherly figure now." She said as they walked up to the office.

Kira had covered her ears as the bell rung, she wasnt use to how much she could hear "Why so loud?" she said to herself as she walked over to her desk and sat down waiting for if the teacher would show up, which she know him or her would.

Jason heard the class bell ring when he was walking inside.  "Well crap, what a way to start the day" He said to Kerri with a grin.  Jason then walked to his second block class almost forgetting what he had before the accident and plague.  Jason then got inside his class when the football team was called down to practice for the game since they've been out for so long.  Jason got down to the field and got in his practice outfit.  He then ran out on the field and started practicing throwing.

Kerri rolled to her 2nd class. She knew the day would be pretty boring. She caught Amelia's scent nearby. Making a mental note to find Amelia, Kerri settled in for History class.

Alexander remained unfazed at the ringing bell— staring off into the cosmos of the classroom as he sat with his hair long enough to cover the buds of the headphones. (Hm, why am I even here?) He thought to himself, with a blank and emotionless expression across his face. He was closer to a frown than a smile, but still didn't really have either reaction. He couldn't help but ponder, looking straight at Kira. (What'd she mean by my scent, exactly? I know she said it more surprised than just going 'ew, that guy smells bad', but I don't see what she means. I guess it's nothing...I mean society will never figure out girls like that. It's more impossible than freezing inside the sun right this second. Whatever.) Alexander kept thinking. He contradicted his thoughts in one moment, and would support It the next, and vice-versa. After a short realization, he looked away from Kira and back staring off into la-la land.

Dion burst into class (With Kira And Alexander) just as the bell stopped ringing. He was panting but not sweating. He was surpised he wasn't exhausted and covered in sweat. He never did physically strenuous activities, so he wasn't the most athletic kid.

He spotted an empty seat behind Kira and walked over to it. He set his bag on the floor and sat down. He pulled out his books, looking at Alex curiously, who had been stairing at Kira

He then looked over at Kira

[she's one of us] He thought to himself and then looked down at his desk [Do we all come to this school??] He was a little relieved with that thought. With all of them attending the same school, it seemed more likely that they could watch out for each other

"Okay, Amelia Tichelli," a woman said reading off her name on a paper, "Your schedule will be a while we're trying to get you all set up in the right classes. Now can i ask a few questions?" Amelia nodded and the woman asked her on and on about classes she'd be interested in and ones she'd like. They lady walked off with a smile and Amelia looked at Dawes.

"You dont have to worry, i told them you had something so everytime you feel like yunno, whatever it is you call it, just head to the office and call me. i'll be here in an instant." Dawes said with a smile.

Practice was going slow.  Jason was ready to play.  He was just waiting for class to end.  He finally finished practice and they prepped for the game.  He put on his Black jersey that had the number 7 on it and his name on the back.  HIs pants were black and his helmet was to.  They were ready for this game, as ready as anyone come be.  Jason waited in the locker room for school to end so the game would start.

Kerri figgited through History class. The Wolf was restless. Kerri actually enjoyed history, but the Wolf's desire to be doing something else was poking holes in her concentration.

"Are you alright, Kerri?" Mr Ronski asked, pausing writing down a date on the white board.

"Yes, sir." she answered, doing her best to compose herself. "Just too much caffeine lately."

Mr Ronski, a man who doesn't even acknowledge the world before his first cup of coffee, chuckled.

"You'll learn in college that there is no such thing as too much caffeine."

That received a general chorus of laughter from the class, Kerri included. With that out of the way, Mr Ronski continued on with the lesson.

Kerri managed to calm down a bit. The wolf had accepted that they were here and there was nothing she could do about it. Kerri had wrestled with her several times through the day and she was beginning to get the picture that Kerri was in charge. But Kerri could tell that though the Wolf was letting her lead, she could have a harder time of it. Some concessions would have to be given. The biggest Kerri could think of is let the wolf have control to run and hunt. Kerri didn't feel too worried about the idea, as she knew the wolf would listen to her as she listened to the wolf. But then there was the problem of what if someone saw the wolf running around. From what she had seen and felt from the wolf, she was huge by wolf standards. Something like that stalking around could freak people out.

Kerri continued to consider this problem as she packed up and left History class.

Amelia sat in the office and watched people walk in the halls of the passing period. She sighed.

"I know you dont wanna be here, but what will staying home every day do you? Especially since you live in a pretty worn out and creepy house. I almost thought it was abandoned until i figured out your father and little baby Amelia lived there." Dawes said as she smiled. Amelia shrugged. The counselor who was putting her schedule together came back.

"Do you think athletics would suit you well?"

"I'm not really the athletic type." She lied.

"Hm, really? You just have that kinda look like you sort of run track or something. Your schedule will be up shortly." She said going back into her office. Amelia shrugged and saw a couple of kids she recognized and gulped.

"Why this school.."

Kerri rolled herself though the hallways to the room science was in. She found, taped to the door, a notice that the teacher, Mrs. Greenwood, was still out. Kerri took a moment out of her current trainof thought to search her memory. Had she heard that Mrs. Greenwood had gotten the virus? Kerri sincerely hoped her teacher didn't have the virus. Kerri was lucky and her life was pretty complicated because of it.

With some free time, Kerri focused back on the problem of letting the wolf out for a run without freaking people out. A huge wolf running through the woods behind somebody's house could even get police involved. If only she looked more like a normal dog.

"There we go." she thought as she headed for the cafeteria. "Why couldn't we have been turned into Were-Golden Retrievers or were-poodles?"

The mental image of a were-poodle had her thinking that wolves weren't too bad.

"Maybe I could convince people into thinking I was a dog." she continued thinking. "But how? The only way to tell a domesticated dog and a feral one is their..."

Kerri stopped rolling. It wasn't a good idea, but it was all she had. She altered her course to an exit. She was sure there was a pet store not far from the school.

Jason pushed up his helmet.  He could see the day was ending.  Everyone was leaving school.  Jason also saw the bus pull up for the other team.   He was prepped for the game.  Jason was ready to kick some tail.  But he was smelling something weird.  Like another wolf.  He could see a boy step off the bus that looked stronger than the rest.

Kerri left the pet store with the biggest dog collar she could find. With it being bright red, she hoped people would see it when the wolf went running. Since tags came with it, she had to think of a "cover ID" for her wolf. She looked down at the collar, light shining on the name "Luna".

"Should have put more thought in that." she thought with a grimace.

Checking her watch, she saw it wasn't too long before Jason's game. She quickly pulled out her phone and sent a text to both Kira and Dion.

Jason has a game. Meet up and watch.

She closed her phone and pushed on. She stopped and turned back to the school, trying to follow Ameila's scent.

Amelia sat outside on the pavement. It was her free period, so she sat outside for al of it. She sighed as she looked off into the parking lot.

"Yunno, theres a football game today." Amelia shook her head.

"Why dont you wanna go?"

"I dont like anybody here, and just football isnt my thing."

"Oh shut up, i know you, you love sports."

Amelia sighed and stood up.

"Can we go home, i'm ready to talk."

Following her scent, Kerri saw Amelia sitting outside with someone. Kerri almost turned back, but her stubborn streak kicked in and she rolled over to Amelia.

"Hey, there." she greeted, coming to a stop a few feet away. "Glad you made it. Good day at class?"

Kerri wanted to ask Amelia how her wound was, but with somebody else around, that could get into some messy explanations.

Amelia smirked.

"Hey Kerri. You know, it'd be best if you weren't in that wheelchair, you can move your legs, besides everybodys memorys are too bogged up with the virus to even notice that last year you were in a wheelchair." She said as she stood up. Amelia saw Kerri look at Dawes.

"Oh Kerri, this is Ms. Dawes she knows about us, so its okay. We were about to go back to the house, wanna come along?" She asked as she straightened herself up.

Kerri eyed Ms. Dawes a moment, then shook her head at Amelia.

"No thanks." she answered. "Jason has a football game soon and he wanted somebody that could stop him in case he gets moon happy."

She smiled.

"Maybe you and Ms. Dawes would like to come to the game. More back up for me and time for intelligent conversation."

(Hey guys I'm sorry that I'm being slow with replying.  I had a family emergency pop up on Tuesday morning, and its still going on...  But I'll reply when ever I can, please bare with me)

The game had started and Jason was in position to receive the ball and throw to an open player.   Jason was then hiked the ball and he backed up.   He saw the  guy who smelled like a wolf sitting on the bench watching him like he knew what he was.  Jason then looked back and saw that he didn't have an open shot.  Then someone rushed him and with ease he spun out of it and began to run at him.  Another opposing player dove at Jason's ankle.  Jason jumped up and stomped on the guy and kept running  Jason then could smell the wolf smell closer.  He could hear a slight growl coming closer to him.  He looked to his left and saw this boy with red eyes who was no doubt a werewolf too.  Jason was then tackled by him hard.  His whole team ran out when they heard the sound of bones snapping.  Jason could tell his ribs were broken and could see his shin bone sticking out of his leg.   Jason didn't feel the pain because it quickly healed and was good by the time his team was there.
