Kira stood up and said "Count me in aswell, I to have friends that are sick and need help" She doesn't want to lose anyone thats dearly to her and hey maybe she'll get something back like her vision, as Mr. Tichelli said better reflex, better vision, better hearing everything... So many possibilites.

"i know you all want to help your loved ones, but, it is a long shot, they may not react the same way to this as you. Amelia," he said turning to her, "in the freezer is a bottle, with the antidote. fetch it for me please." She nodded and headed to to freezer. Tichelli said Amelia and Jason had been injected but she didnt remember. She grabbed the antidote and headed back. Tichelli grabbed it and held it up to eye level.

"Ahh, there is only so little for every one of you."

Kerri rolled up a sleeve.

"Well, let's get this started, anyway." she said.

She felt really nervous, but she was doing the right thing. She could be saving countless lives, her friend's life included. Her life too, possibly.

"Ready when you are."

Tichelli didnt bother explaining. He knew things they didnt, but as long as they thought what they did, he would be okay with it. "Alrighty, lets get this done. You first." He said to Kerri filling up the syringe. He swabbed her arm and injected the "antidote" slowly. Sit for a couple of seconds. If you move around too much you may get naseated.

"Well I guess its me next"

Kira walked over to Mr. Tichelli and rolled her sleeve up also

"Im ready" She said with a straight look on her face hiding the little bit of nervousness she had

Tichelli nodded, swabbed her arm, and injected it as well. "Well you all should stick around for a bit, so i know this us working for you as well as Jason and Amelia." He nodded at Jason but realized Amelia had left, he sighed and looked at his desk with the pile of papers.

 

Amelia walked around in circles around the house. Her head felt like it was about to explode. Ever since she had been taken in by Tichelli she didnt expect anything that had happened. She sat on the concrete, and started thinking. Her back, hands and just everything was aching. Amelia remembered Tichelli telling her to read a book on lycanthropes.

"But he cant really think we're werewolves can he? thats just stupid and imaginary. But so is this virus and everything thats going on." She said to herself. She looked at her hands.

"We're not animals. He cant be reffering to us that way. And he knows he cant help anyone. He isnt even helping us. Hes just ugh! Dont even know.." she said leaning back on the grass and looking at the clouds.

After Mr. Tichelli was done injecting her she sat back down in a chair "What now?"

She was wondering about what would happen, how long will it take and would it even work?

"I hope this works and doesn't kill me instead" She thought to herself

"Just stay put for a bit. If you move to much you might feel really sick." Tichelli said as Amelia came through the door. She went to pick up her book and sat at his desk and began to read it again. Tichelli sighed.

"So everyones injected?" Tichelli said as he put the antidote into the freezer.

"Do you guys have any questions," he started as he looked back at Amelia and then to the others, " this might be tough for all of you."

Dion opened his eyes. It was too familiar. Just as any other morning, it was a blurr of quietness. He reached over to grab his black-framed glasses and put them on.

 

[Well.. that solves one of my problems..] He thought to himself. He was deaf and had horrible vision from a young age

 

After taking a shower and putting on his usual outfit, he went downstairs to the kitchen. His father was sitting at the table probably doing finances, while his mother stood at the stove, making dinner

 

{Hey, honey} His mom signed to him in sign language when she saw him comming down the stairs

 

{Hi} He replied in SL back to her

 

{I didn't wake you up early cause school is still out} She signed, frowning a bit

 

{Ok} He replied

 

He tapped on his dad's shoulder, who hadn't even noticed his wife and son were having a conversation, and waved to him, smiling a little

 

{Good afternoon, son} He signed when he noticed his son

 

 

Dion turned back to his mom {I'm going out to take the dog for a walk}

 

{Ok, dinner won't be ready for awhile. Be careful} She replied

 

He nodded to her and then waved as he made for the door and exited the house. He didn't let his parents know, but his real intention was to go see Tichelli. He had heard about him after researching the virus alot. It had taken his other dogs, Ben was the only one he had left. He put the leash on him and started walking down the street.

 

Luckily, he was able to walk over to the house because it wasn't too far away. When he reached the house he saw a woman and a boy being let in to the house.

 

He reached the house a few minutes later and stood on the porch, hesitating a bit. He finally knocked on the door quietly

 

[i hope there's not a lot of people here..] He thought worridly.

Tichelli's mind was exploding. He didn't know what to do really. He heard a knock on the door. A little boy was there. "Hello, how can i help you?" Tichelli asked looking at the dog he had with him."Are you here to learn more of the virus?"

Kerri rolled her sleeve down. She took several deep breaths. Though it hurt, she felt better from it. She was actually doing something. Kerri rolled a little out of the way, but tried to get closer to Amelia and Jason.

"How are you two doing?" she asked in a slightly worried, mothering tone.

Amelia looked at Kerri.

"i feel fine. im okay honestly, even though i didnt even know i had gotten that injection." Amelia sighed. "Things are just going crazy. My da- i mean Tichelli isnt being completely honest." She whispered back to her as Tichelli was at the door.

Dion nodded his head in response, his dirty, blond bangs falling and partially obscuring one eye.

Kerri arched an eye brow.

"Care to elaborate?" she whispered back.

"Did she start to say 'my dad' just then?" Kerri wondered mentally. "If so, why would she want to keep that hidden?"

Kerri spared a careful glance at Tichelli when he wasn't looking.

Tichelli nodded a head back and stepped aside to let the boy pass. "Wait here while i get the supplies." And he headed to the kitchen.

"A couple days ago, he gave me this book." she whispered to Kerri as she showed her the lycanthropes book. "im starting to think he's getting his science mixed up with magical fables, i really dont think he's helping anyone, just trying to experiment on things you know?" Amelia whispered as she kept and eye on Tichelli. Tichelii walked back to thr boy with a syringe. "This may hurt a little and try not to move, it takes effect quite quickly."

Kerri gave the book then Amelia a questioning look.

"Werewolves?" she whispered. "How in heck does he mix up a vaccine for a virus with werewolves?"

A little bit of a cold chill tickled Kerri's spine. What kind of place was this?

"That actually makes sense"  Jason whispered.  "Think about it!!  All of our senses our heightened.  I can hear blood pumping in Tichelli's heart each time he injects the need in someone.  I can smell food from down the road.  I know it sounds weird but our reflexes could be caused by a lycanthrope gene.  Maybe we had it but this has awakened it.  Thats why we are special compared to others.  Why we haven't been infected.   When's the next full moon?" He asked

"i have no clue, this somewhat scares me. its like i dont know, maybe this is something he's planning." Amelia said as she sighed. She looked at Kerri. "He's going to go out of town soon, he locks up his research here when he does, im planning to get into it."

Kerri gave Jason an 'are you crazy' look. She opened her mouth to say as much, but grimaced and grunted in pain instead.

"Cramp." she said, reaching down to her foot.

She froze. She had felt that in her foot.

"That's impossible." she muttered, her eyes wide.

Kira was sitting next to Kerri "What wrong? Is it working? she asked

"Alright I'll help if you need.  But we all need to watch our backs because for all we know he could be making us an army.  Also I heard that school starts tomorrow do ya'll know if thats true?" He asked.  He actually liked going to school.  It gave him something to do rather than just sit around at home doing nothing.  He could atleast get back into football.  "School would be a great place to test our abilities" He said noticing Kerri's pain in her leg

Amelia nodded at Jason and looked at Kerri with wide eyes. 

"This is just one big sick joke." Amelia said, then she turned to Kira. 

"He'll be leaving soon, he mentioned it somewhat to me. Hopefully we get more answers out of that than of him."

"Sounds good but let me read that book" He said grabbing the book.  He skimmed through some of the book and read how in some cases the moon wasn't need to turn.  Some emotions could trigger a change.  "Guys. If us being werewolves is true we need to find the cause or reasons for us to change.  We have to be careful. We really need to find out all of his results." he said skimming back through the book

Dion nodded once more, he could read lips extremely well.

 

Before he stepped inside, be bent down and took the leash off of his dog

 

"Stay" He said, his voice sounded strange, but he could talk

 

He then stood up and stepped inside and looked around, curiously. There were quite a few people

 

[is this a some kind of get together?? Great..] He thought a little distraught

Kira nodded at Amelia "Alright"

Her eyes started to water a little bit, she rubbed them and closed her eyes

"God this burns" she kept them closed for a few minutes.

"Hold onto the book, It may help us" She opened her eyes and barely saw someone come threw the door.

Everything was blurry but dark, what was happening vision?
