Inside the Organization (RP)

Recommended Posts

Saix changed his mind and decided to question Larxene later, from the sound of it looked like Naminé needed to be there for the time being anyway. He walked back over to the portal he had opened for Xion to go through and stepped into it. He stepped out into Radiant Garden, and froze briefly, taking in the scene before him. He hadn't thought he was going to send Xion straight into the clutches of a giant heartless. Saix scowled, spotting Zexion. He wondered what The Cloaked Schemer was doing there? Oh well, just one more thing to question about at a later time.

Saix pulled out his Claymore and charged towards the Trinity Armor, he swung the claymore, hitting the Heartless hard in the side. He glanced at Xion. "Come Xion! We could use your Keyblade."

............

Naminé let out a breath she hadn't realized she's been holding, relieved that Marluxia had left. She scanned the room, and watched the Nobody who looked like Sora leave through a portal. Naminé slowly made her way over to one of the couches, she sat down on top of it. She wanted to go exploring this new castle, but after the events of the day she knew better then to put one toe out of line any time soon. She didn't want to anger Marluxia further. Somehow, through everything, Naminé still had ahold of her notebook. She opened it and began to sketch yet another picture. This one, was one of all of the Organization members, at least, all of the ones she had seen.

............

Sora nodded uneasily. Ansem the Seeker of Darkness, had been after the power of Kingdom Hearts. "Okay let me get this straight. Are you saying that we're not enemies?" For some reason, Sora found that idea hard to believe.

"Well, that's all up to you." Xigbar told Sora. "We could work together, or we could close diplomatic relations by beating the crap out of each other."

Xigbar shrugged.

"If you wanna hear more about The Organization, I can take you to the boss."

(Uh-oh, it looks like Yuffie and Lunar missed one another in the Gray room--  Yuffie, how about we continue by pretending that Saix spoke with Larxene, and now Larxene is moving back onto Castle Oblivion where she will meet with Marluxia?  Will that work?  That, or she could run into Axel and Riku, who are in the same room.  It's up to you. :))

I believe this should give most people something to do, apart from Larxene and Marluxia who will potentially meet in Castle Oblivion.  If I'm missing someone please let me know, as I'd hate for someone to be sitting with nothing to do.

(Uh, you mean Kingdom Hearts not KONGDOM HEARTS. This isn't King Kong Heart, Lol.)

Yeah, that's the problem with the "i" being right beside the "o" on the keyboard.  I've made similar typos more times than I can count, so please don't pick on Rikunobody too harshly now. ;)

------------------------------------------------------

Roxas entered to find...  A Trinity Armor relentlessly attacking a party of four.  Zexion hardly noticed that Saix joined them amongst all the chaos.  And, once he had, he barely acknowledged him.  The Heartless split off into multiple pieces, each consisting of two rotating razors that plummeted towards the group.  One flew right at DiZ, searing a small section of his maroon robes.  It lingered there, looking as though it were contemplating aiming for his head.

As Saix's weapon met the side of the Trinity Armor, it brought one of its blades forward, searing the sharp side of the Nobody's claymore clean off.  The weapon was nothing more than a blunt hunk of metal--which could still prove useful if handled correctly.  The Trinity Armor began throwing more flame, surrounding the party and igniting a hedge right beside Saix.  The flames threatened to spread to his coat.

Demyx and Luxord arrived right on the scene of the massive Heartless giving the party quite a thrashing.  Flames were being projected in the air.  One fireball came dangerously close to falling on Demyx's sitar.  Only moments after this fireball came falling at them, however, one of the Heartless's spawns came flying towards them, its blades rotating menacingly at the two Nobody's faces.

Zexion remained standing beside Xion all the while.  His illusions were relatively useless on the Heartless; it destroyed his beings nearly as fast as they formed.  Finally Zexion conjured an illusion of Sora, to which he directed in the Trinity Armor's direction.  Its Keyblade met with that of the steel metal blade, which, after a long moment, finally broke it clean off.  The Cloaked Schemer's gaze briefly flickered onto DiZ, to which he watched momentarily.  He certainly didn't know when he arrived, though he couldn't linger on the thought for long.  Another one of the Heartless's spawns was aimed directly for his lexicon.

--------------------------------------------

Vexen crossed his arms and glared at the Graceful Assassin's back as he slipped through to the corridors of darkness.  Hardly anyone in the Organization angered him as much as Marluxia--they simply despised one another.  The Chilly Academic shifted his gaze onto Lexeaus, cocking his head slightly.  "It's been a while since I've seen you," he commented mildly.  "Tell me: what has our Silent Hero been up to lately, hm?  Are you up to helping me with a little...  Ah"--his gaze flickered over to Naminé hungrily--"experiment?"

Saix leaped back as the flames threatened to ignite his coat. He scowled, taking a moment to glance at his Claymore. He was shocked to see that the sharper end of it had been broken off. "Wonderful, one more thing to get seen to," Saix growled to himself. He wasn't attached to many things, but his giant Claymore was his one belonging that he'd hate to have to replace. He enjoyed his position as second in command, but at times he felt somewhat overwhelmed. Not enough to back down, but still.

Saix took another step back, glaring at the Heartless. Instead of continuing with his blunted sword, he shot blizzara at the creature. Sadly he didn't know much about that particular Heartless, but since it had shot fire at him he hoped that ice might be its weakness. If worst came to worst, he 'could' technically still use his Claymore.

.........

Naminé looked up from her drawing at Lexaeus and Vexen across the room. The scientist scared her. He looked at her as though she were a play thing, or worse, something to eat. Naminé shivered, and not out of being cold.

Sitting back on the couch, Naminé wrapped her arms around her knees and watched the two Organization members uneasily. More then anything else at the moment, she wanted to escape the room. She eyed the door, trying to decide if it would be safe to make a break for it.

.........

"Hmm," Sora muttered, a slight frown on his face as he considered his two options. He let his Keyblade fade away as he looked back over at Xigbar. "Okay, I'd like to see your leader. Maybe he can tell me where Riku and Naminé are." At least it was a start anyway, he wasn't getting anywhere from wondering through Castle Oblivion.

Yep, Lol. And its ok that you mispelled it. Everyone makes mistakes. Also, sorry if i came on too strong, its not your fault.

(Eh, I ain't worried.)(Okay, Xemnas, this is where I hand you a dozy.)Xigbar nodded. "Alright, but first" he began.A small portal opened by Xigbar's side. He reached in and pulled out a black coat."Put this on." he told Sora, tossing the coat at him. "Keep the hood up til I say otherwise. Might run into somebody else from this castle."

Vexen's request gave Lexeaus pause. His intention had been to follow after Marluxia, but further conversation with the scientist held potential dividends. If anyone was up to date on Marluxia's plans, it would be Vexen, and perhaps examining Namine would give more insight to what was going on in the castle as well. Slowly, Lexeaus nodded at the Chilly Academic's request. "...Go on."

Sora tilted his head to the side. "O-kay." He grabbed the coat hesitantly and put it on over his clothes. He zipped it and pulled up the hood. Sora turned back to face Xigbar, and scowled, his face barely visible under the hood. "Okay, I'm ready. This coat feels so strange though, kinda like rubber." Sora looked down at his feet, before looking back at Xigbar. He held up a foot, still wearing his old shoes. "Are these shoes gonna be a problem?"
..........
Naminé gulped, officially creeped out by the scientist and his quiet, enormous accomplice. She got to her feet and hurried out of the gray room before Vexen went to get his knife and fork. When she was through the doorway she broke into a sprint, hurrying through the hallways that all looked the same to her. Finally she wrenched open a door and went inside, hoping to hide from the two Organization members. She looked anxiously around the room, her eyes flew over a bed on the opposite side, which meant she was inside someone's bedroom. This idea scared Naminé. She spotted another door within that room and ran over to it, she opened it and went inside, shutting the door swiftly behind her. It appeared to be a closet, with Organization coats on hangers. Sliding down to the floor, Naminé rested her head on her knees and cried near silent tears. She felt so alone, she even found herself missing Larxene and Marluxia.

"Fine. I'll just go back to CO now then." Larxene said to herself after Saix had left. She opened a dark corridor and walked through. The Savage Nymph found herself in a room with Riku and Axel. It was a rather small room, with some armor in the corner. She walked over and joined the conversation, lightning crackling off her fingertips, hoping to intimidate the younger boy.

Xigbar waved a dismissive hand.

"They should be good." he said. "Just don't go showing' them off to everybody."

He waved a hand and a Dark Corridor opened.

"Give me a sec."

He stepped through the portal to Xemnas's chambers.

"Hood up, boss." he said, hoping that Xemnas was around. "I've got a new recruit you'd be interested in."

Xigbar stepped back through to Castle Oblivion.

"Let's go." he told Sora.

(I'm very confused, Sora's Baby...  What is it that you're uncertain about?  Xion is now battling a giant Heartless, and everyone's asking her to use her Keyblade against it.  They are in Radiant Garden.  I apologize if I'm misunderstanding what you're asking me.  If you're still unsure of where to start, please PM me and I will try my best to help clarify anything.

Good opening, Yuffie!  However, they are actually in the main halls of Castle Oblivion now; Riku met Axel outside the armor room. :))

A mad grin lit the scientist's face.  "You see, I am experimenting on something, something that Xemnas doesn't see the necessity it."  He crossed his arms, eyes still on Namine.  "My replicas thus far have been created using the extracted data of my specimen into a brand new vessel.  However, after doing much research and examination, I am about 95 perfect certain that the finished product may contain data from not one, but two or three other subjects."  Vexen briefly wondered if he was speaking too freely in the Gray Room, or even with Lexeaus, for that matter, though he brushed it off.  Xemnas should've been taking his proposition more seriously anyway--what could the man really do if he found out Vexen was still pursuing this endeavor?

"I have the notion that we need not our Keyblade wielders, but rather, all the elements of said Keyblade wielders in one unit.  If I were to create a puppet with the abilities and mind of our dear Namine here"--he gestured towards the terrified blonde--"and the girl's Somebody, I would have a complete product.  If this procedure succeeds, the possibilities would be endless!"  He could just picture creating replicas with multiple data to produce all sorts of possible outcomes.  Not that any of them would be truly helpful--Vexen, sadly, had a terribly tendency not to view objectives outside of his lab.  He experimented for the sake of science, and not much else.

The sound of pounding footsteps snapped Vexen to his senses.  Glancing up, he found Namine to have fled, tearing down the hall and slamming an unknown door.  Vexen cackled with amusement.  "Oh, dear, it looks as though our participant isn't up for her role in my experiment.  Well, no matter."  He brushed his long hair from his face calmly, before calling out, "No one can hide from me here!  It's only a matter of time before I find you, Namine!"

---------------------------------------------------------

Riku spun around as Larxene entered the room.  He remembered her from before, and wasn't too anxious to battle her again.  Weapon braced in his head, he turned to the Savage Nymph and said, "What'd you do with Namine?!  Where is she?!"  Not that he expected the woman to say, though he were partly hopeful that she would.  If he were to save Sora, he needed to find her--at any cost.

Sora watched as Xigbar disappeared through the portal. He waited patiently, crossing his arms and staring into the swirling mass of darkness. He wasn't sure if it was such a good idea to go see the leader of the Organization, but he was just gonna have to take his chances. He watched as Xigbar stepped back through the portal.

Sora walked up to the portal and peered inside, before looking back at Xigbar. "Okay, you lead the way." He hoped that he wasn't walking straight into a trap.

Xigbar shrugged.

"Sure." he replied.

He stepped back through the portal to Xemnas's chambers. He wondered how well Xemnas was gonna handle this little new development. Even if the boss wasn't there, Xigbar had some plans. He always wondered if he could play people as well as the old coot had Terra.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop a line and gauge interest on this RP.  This is the first one I've hosted, and I'm afraid I didn't do a very good job at it.  I hadn't realized that I would need a much more structured plot as well as constructive battles for everyone to participate in, both of which I failed at providing.  My apologies, everyone; I hope you aren't terribly disappointed.

If most--or even half--of you are disinterested in this, I think I'm going to wrap it up here.  I have some other ideas for better, much more elaborately planned RPs that I'd like to pursue, though I'm afraid I can't take on hosting more than one at this time.

Thanks again for participating; it was wonderful playing with each and every one of you, and I hope I'll be graced with the opportunity to again in the near future.

I'll be joining some of your other rps. I you need ideas be free to message me. I'm much better at giving ideas than setting up my own rp.

Many thanks, Obi-wan.  I definitely intend to host another RP in the near future, and I'd love for you to join!  I might also take you up on that planning offer. ;)  I've got a couple ideas in mind, but before I propose them I want to have a very definite plot on paper.

Aww, I'm still interested in it! But I understand if you're wanting to close it down. If you start another role-play I'll definitely join. :)

Thanks for understanding, Lunar, and once again I'm sorry this didn't work out.  Once I've got a concrete plot, though, I do plan to host another RP.  I'd love for you to join!

A shame, it was really good, Mystic. If ya' need though, I'll go ahead and lock the thread...though I don't really think it's necessary, but it'll end the thread for good.

Thank you, Silver, for all of your advice and help in this RP. :)  I truly didn't know what to expect going into this as RPM.  This was a great learning experience for me, though, and I think I now have a better idea of what's involved.  It'd be fine if you'd like to keep this thread open, especially if anyone would like to pick it back up again should they desire.  Thank you for offering to lock it, though; it's much appreciated. :)

Thanks, Rikunobody. :)  You were awesome to RP with!

I'm sorry,I kind of caused this..

No, Sora's Baby, please do not blame yourself.  This was the first RP I hosted, and I truly didn't know how to set the stage up for everyone.  After having played through a few and watched others host them, however, I think I have a much better understanding of what needs to be done next time.  It was a great pleasure playing with you, Sora's Baby, and I look forward to the time that we may get to again!  (Well, we do in The Experiment, come to think of it, but it seems Ren and Yumi hardly converse.)

I definitely enjoyed this, you're really good at rping in general Mystic. Feeling like I kind of caused this though...

Thank you, and I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed this. :)  I wouldn't mind continuing, though at this point I'm afraid that it would need so much work and structure built into it that I'm not sure it's even possible.  Many thanks for your kind words, and no worries; this wasn't the fault of anyone.

I'm very sorry, Spider, and I thank you for understanding.  My next RP will likely be Final Fantasy/Dissidia-related, which I hope you--and perhaps others--might enjoy. :)
