Inside the Organization (RP)

Recommended Posts

Marluxia's hand tightened into a fist ever so slightly, his smile vanishing, his aura of patience vanishing as the dam which held back his anger cracked just a smidge. The stern, cutting words of Zexion tore through the assassin's armor. The condescending wretch! Seated in the Grey Room, at the very center of the Organization's power, flanked by two other henchmen, the schemer was all but untouchable, and he knew it. Marluxia gritted his teeth, taking a few quick deep breaths, trying to find his balance.

He was relatively unsuccessful.

"That would be a great pity," he said, voice resuming its usual calm monotone, but unable to force his smile to return. "For I can assure you, nothing good would come out of a fight." Then, fixing Zexion with his with a glare, he repeated with emphasis, "Nothing good at all."

Wanting to be in and out of the Castle as soon as possible, Marluxia turned his back to Zexion, and walked towards the exit of the Grey Room. Intentionally bumping into Luxord's chair, causing him to drop his cards, the Graceful Assassin waited until he was certain no one could see him before allowing a hateful scowl cross his face. All he needed was a little while longer, and then...

He would find Saix himself. Let the other lapdogs wait patiently for every call of the scar faced suck-up.

Xion looked at Roxas. "Thank you. Now we can go." She said with a tired smile.

"Sometimes I wonder why I bother..." She asked herself out loud.

"Now,let's hurry back." She said.

Finished with her picture, Naminé got to her feet and walked over to the window. She placed her elbows on the windowsill and gazed outside. She doubted she could convince anyone to let her go out, no matter how helpful she was to them. Naminé backed up from the window, a sudden idea hitting her. No one was watching her at the moment, would they notice if she tried to find the way outside herself? Grabbing her notebook, she poked her head out the door. Yes, she decided, she was going to find the outside herself. Naminé stepped out into the hallway, and began making her way down it cautiously.

.................

Sora let out a low moan, and reached up to grab his head. He opened his eyes and blinked, his gaze fixing on the coat of...a member of the Organization?! Sora attempted to get free but he accidentally jerked too fast and felt a searing pain in his head. Instead he brought both fists down on the Organization member that was holding him. "What are you doing with me?! Put me down!"

Demyx sighed and looked over at Luxord "Why do they always forget about us? We're like the coolest in the Organiztion 13!"

He shot up from his seat and put his hands on his hips "Lets go start something, like now" he was in his trouble making mood like always

Luxord smirked. "What mischief are you formulating now my adolescent companion? Nevertheless, the cards fail to provide decent entertainment currently, perhaps shuffling the cards to an extent will instigate a more enjoyable experience." He stood. "How will this game play out?"

Luxord laughed. "If I am making the decision I would choose our Graceful Assassin. He could, per say: use some loosening up." He habitually began shuffling his deck of cards. "Any implications as to how this mischief is to commence?"

Roxas blinked, "Is everything alright, Xion?" He asked, curious about what she had said aloud. Roxas was unsure if he had done something wrong -he is a bit clueless, after all- but he sighed and walked alongside her, somewhat glad to the corridor that would return them to the castle.

"Phew.." He sighed, giving Xion an exasperated smile.

(I've got some updates going to hopefully get most players rolling again.  Is anyone currently in need of something to do that I didn't cover?  I know Obi-wan's waiting on the Riku Replica to speak with DiZ, though I have something planned in a moment for him.)

Demyx and Luxord's mischief plotting weren't deaf to Zexion's ears.  Raising his eyes from his book, he shot them a disapproving look, though he failed to hide his smirk.  "Don't press him.  You heard what sort of a mood he's in upon returning from Castle Oblivion."  However, he was quite curious to see what sort of mischief the two could conjure.  "Should you decide to bother him, however, I'd suggest you'd do so in Castle Oblivion.  His heart lingers there more than here, and perhaps you could do some...poking for me."  The Cloaked Schemer shot a glance around the room, though no one of great importance was there to report his actions.  Xion and Roxas just returned through the portal, though he couldn't imagine anything they'd say could harm him.  "Search his things, ransack the Castle.  Find anything of importance that he's failing to report to Headquarters.  I know there's something, but you know Marluxia.  He'll never allow me to find it."

Drawing in a breath, Zexion relaxed back in his seat, his expression easing.  "Just...don't mess with Vexen.  He may be amusing to frustrate, though I can assure you it will not be worthwhile."

--------------------------------------------------

Riku brought himself up a flight of stairs.  He'd been up so many; he thought they would never end.  His eyes searched for any trace of color, which appeared rather absent from the stark-white surroundings.  However, one flash of color caught his attention: the pale visage of a girl who emerged from one of the heavy doors before him.  She had fair blond locks and eyes that shone like twin sapphires.  In appearance the girl seemed innocent--yet Riku couldn't be too careful.

The teen withdrew his weapon and pointed it at the girl, his expression fierce.  "Who are you?  Are you a part of the Organization?!"

-------------------------------------------------

A cocky grin spread across the Chilly Academic's face.  "Oh, yes, I have what I want.  The Keyblade wielder means absolutely nothing to me, though I suppose our dear Marluxia might differ in opinion.  Though, really, do as you wish with him Xigbar.  Hang him on your wall as a hunting trophy!  That could make a pretty sight!"  While images of such a hunting collection flashed through Vexen's mind, Sora awoke on Xigbar's shoulder and began thrashing about.  "Ooh!  And what have we here?  I'd suggest you find something entertaining to do with him, Number two, as we really don't need him wailing about."

His grin only widened as he stalked away, instigating a dark portal to emerge in the white room.  "Farewell, Sora!  I wish you all the best in finding your precious Namine!"  A mad cackle emitted from the scientist as he stepped into his own dark portal and vanished from sight.

"Hey!" Xigbar yelled at Sora. "Settle down."

He let the Keyblade Wielder go, dropping Sora on his head. Xigbar calmly stepped away from Sora and turned around.

"I'm actually here to save you from those creeps."

(It's okay Pretium, it isn't easy coming up with long posts. :))

Saix led Axel down through The Castle that Never Was. After going down several flights of stairs Saix opened a door and went inside a large room, gesturing for Axel to follow. Saix couldn't imagine why anyone would come down into the basement, so it seemed like the perfect place to talk without people overhearing. Saix turned to Axel. "So tell me, what has been happening within the other castle, Lea?"

Axel hadn't heard his true name in a while. It was only in the most private conversations with his friend from his past life that he was ever called that. He couldn't remember everything from the life before, but he remembered Saïx, and the friendship they shared before they lost their hearts. He knew Saïx doubted whether it was truly possible for nobodies to form friendships. He only acknowledged his and Axel's friendship because it was formed when they were still human. But maybe Axel's relationship (Friendship) with Roxas and Xion could change his mind about post nobody friendship.

"Isa.." He started "it's good to finally speak privately with you after being cooped up in the castle for awhile."

He walked over closer to Saïx

"Marluxia and Larxene "seem" to be following the plan but.. I imagine they're gonna eventually try and use the keyblade kid for something else. I don't know all the details yet." Axel chuckled "I doubt they would completely trust me yet.." Axel bent his arm so his forearm came upwards clenching a fist "..but I'll do what it takes to get into their little club find out once and for all if they are traitors to the Organization" He lowered his arm and spoke more quietly "and deal with them accordingly.."

(Lunarrrrr!! Sorry if I'm assuming too much about Axel and Saïx!! Just let me know and I can edit my post. Sooo sorry for taking so long.

And don't forget to read my posts in Quinton Flynn's voice. It will make it more believable!! Ha Ha)

(It's okay Pretium! And it all looks good to me. :) Nice and legit.)

Saix listened to Axel with a thoughtful scowl on is face. Then he nodded. What Axel said made sense, he had wondered if Marluxia, aided by Larxene, had been planning to overthrow Xemnas, he knew for a fact that they weren't that loyal to him. Not that he, Saix, was that loyal to Xemnas either when it got down to it...

Saix looked over at Axel, the slightest of smiles creeping onto his face. "Thank you for the report, Lea. Yes, I doubt Marluxia will be in a hurry to trust you, though in time, I believe he might." Saix crossed his arms and glanced around the room at the storage bins in the basement room that they were in. For the first time he realized that he had never seen what was in them...perhaps if he had emotions he would feel a bit more enclined to see, as he was, he was hardly curious. "So, how are the little Keyblade wielders, Sora and Riku?"

.........

Naminé jumped back in surprise, dropping her notebook while she did so. Her eyes found Riku, and she watched him cautiously. He must be the real Riku, she was shocked by just how much he looked like the replica. She was slightly surprised though, that he thought she was a member of the Organization, she considered considered herself their prisoner. Naminé clutched her hands together, and shook her head swiftly. "No, I'm not with the Organization." She bent down and picked up her notebook, her crystal blue eyes never leaving Riku's face. When she had straightened out, she held her notebokk tight in her hands and smiled politely at the sliver-haired teen. "I'm Naminé. It's nice to meet you...Riku."

.........

Sora leaped to his feet, oh boy did his head hurt! First that woman with the blonde hair had hit him, and now this man had dropped him right on his head! He squinted at the member of the Organization, he pulled his Keyblade out in one hand and rubbed his head with his free hand. "What are you talking about?! You're with the Organization! Why would you want to help me?!" He let go of his head and held his Keyblade in both hands, pointing it at the dark-haired member of the Organization, a scowl on his face. "What do you guys want with me? And why'd you take Naminé?"

Reluctantly Riku lowered his weapon, his eyes alert and untrusting.  The blond girl, whose name she claimed was Namine, did seem innocent enough.  Yet, this place seemed to be filled with illusions and traps.  For all Riku knew, this could simply be another one of them. Slowly Riku took a step forward, caution reigning his demeanor.  "H--how did you know my name?  I've never met you."  He was now standing before her, nearly a whole head taller than herself.  She seemed so frail, so feeble...  But no, the Organization wanted him to pity her.  It was likely all a trap, just like everything else had been.

Before he could react or the girl could respond, however, a dark portal formed behind them and out stepped a tall man with blond locks and a long pointed chin.  He grinned at them maliciously, in a mad, dangerous sort of way.  "More visitors," he murmured, teeth gleaming in the dim light.  "My, Marluxia certainly kept himself busy with the invitations.  And you, you must be Namine"--he glanced at the blond girl and gave her a jerky nod--"it's a pleasure I'm finally making your acquaintance at long last, especially after Marluxia and Larxene bragged about you so.  Tell me, what is it that you can do that's so...fascinating that they haven't fed you to the wolves yet?

(Whew, finally have two of my characters in the same spot. :P)

"I've been pondering this." Luxord said. "The majority of the Organization seems to be operating at Castle Oblivion. Why don't we save us the time deck our boredom out on a Nobody else... Perhaps Lexaeus. We never here anything from his mouth. A healthy scream from him would do all three of us wonders."

A frown furrowed Zexion's brows; he was partial to Lexeaus.  "He's not worth your time or energy, he's simply doing as he's told," Zexion replied shortly.  "Tell you what: bring me information on this Namine that Marluxia has stored away in a private tower of the Castle, and I shall offer you a reward.  I want to know precisely what she's doing to earn her place amongst them."  The steel-haired schemer drummed his fingers on the side of his couch thoughtfully.  "I will, of course, smooth your leave with the Superior should it receive attention.  You should take Demyx with you; no need to leave him to grate on everyone's nerves in the Gray room."

"52 pick up!" Luxord shouted. More like fifth-two hundred. A flurry of cards flew out in front of them and towards Zexion. "Retreat!. He ran off and out of the Gray Room alongside Demyx. "This mischief business is quite entertaining, Demyx. You must teach me these things. Let's start with those so called.., pranks."

Naminé smiled at Riku, then looked over when she heard a dark portal open and close. Her eyes widened when she saw the member of Organization XIII. She had never seen this member of the Organization before, to her he looked like he might fit into the same category as Marluxia and Larxene. At least, he didn't look like he was a very nice person. She took a step backwards. True, she could change peoples memories but she was quite surprised herself that they hadn't decided to 'fed her to the wolves' as the Organization member had said. "Hello," she greeted pleasantly, trying not to think of the fact that she wasn't supposed to be out of the room she had been left in. She tilted her head to the side. "Who are you?"
