"Woah" Axel said putting his hands up defensively in response to Vexen

"Don't get your lab coat in a bunch, PROFESSOR Frosty" He gave a lot of emphasis to Professor "I haven't been playing with your toys" He said with a wry grin

(Xehanort's Heartless could work in one of two ways.  Either he's eliminated at some point in Castle Oblivion, or he could remain to stir havoc later on down the road.  Sikota and Obi-Wan can determine that, if they'd like.)

Zexion's cold, steel-blue eyes penetrated Namine's, her expression partly fearful.  It was possible she wasn't being entirely truthful, but it would have to do for now.  After all, Zexion would find no other better time to break into forbidden quarters as he was then.  No, this was his only opportunity--time was of the essence.

With a slight jerk of the handle, the door before them opened, leading into a small white room.  Placing a hand on the small of Namine's back, Zexion led her inside.  The room appeared relatively vacant, with only a large chair in its center and keypad on the wall opposite them.  For a few intense moments Zexion remained rooted to the spot, his gaze shifting from the chair to keypad skeptically.  Finally, he strode across the room, hitting in the only passphrase he thought seemed logical: No Heart.

The screen lit up for a brief moment before returning to its blank state.  Zexion held his breath anxiously, wondering if his code succeeded, or if an alarm was only moments from sounding.  Much to his surprise, the chair in the room began move, revealing a long narrow staircase that led deep into the castle.  Due to the darkness below, it was impossible to discern where it led.  Zexion beckoned Namine forward, offering only one word: "Come."

----------------------------------------------------------------

Vexen crossed his arms and scowled.  "You need to learn to be respectful!  Especially to your elders."  It wouldn't have been beyond Axel to tamper with his replicating device.  After all, he was notorious for dragging chaos wherever he went.  Besides, he'd always been against Vexen's replicas from the beginning.  And yet, Vexen couldn't help but believe him.  Vexen shook his head in dismay before roughly pushing the taller man aside and crossing the room to his next victim.  The poor Organization members; surely everyone dreaded the cranky scientist's presence.  He stole one quick glance at Demyx, then Luxord, before letting the poor guy have it.

"As for you!"  He shook a finger menacingly in his face.  "I never want to hear you play that stupid musical piece of instrument ever again!  Have I made myself clear?  Especially in the middle of the night."  Vexen shook with rage.  It was then he noticed the present propped in Demyx's lap.  Squinting at it curiously, he snatched it away.  "A present?  For Xion?  Why, Demyx, I didn't know you had such a heart."

(He could remain as a little nagging presence with in Riku. Oh and I want to drop Lexy. I just can't seem to get a grip on his character. Though I'll help throughout this with extras since DiZ is sorta a major character in here.)

Demyx winced at Vexen's shouting "Yes sir" he said sarcastically. He was holding the box in his lap until Vexon snatched it from him "Hey whats your problem!?" Demyx quickly stood up infront of the scientist "What?" he had to think back, was that from him to Xion? "Im not sure, I think its from me" he put his finger to his head and shrugged "and my sitar isnt a stupid peice of instrument!" Demyx snatched the package away from Vexen and muttered "Your the stupid one, old lady lookin' self" he pretended that he didnt say anthing though.

(Sorry for not posting!)Xion looked at Roxas. "I understand, but don't you want to get Ice-Cream?" She asked him clamly and with no emotion.

She sighed. "Come on let's go." She said with a soft smile.

"We only have so much time." She added.

Vexen couldn't believe his ears.  Of all the insults the Organization's members have thrown at him, old lady lookin' self?  OLD LADY LOOKIN' SELF?!  That was it; Demyx was going to pay.  "How dare you?!" he howled, making a motion towards the blond.  He grasped the front of the younger member's coat.  For an "old lady lookin'" man, he had surprising strength.  "Just what do you think you called me?!"  He would've proceeded further, but the warning look Saix shot him calmed him down.  It also came to his attention the rest of the Organization was staring at him--not that he really cared.  He'd throw a fit if he wanted to.  After all, he was number four and most everyone else was below him.  Thrusting Demyx harshly back onto the sofa, he turned on heel and opened a dark portal.  His destination was unknown to the party.  And, while many might've contemplated stopping him, no one found it within themselves to.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The dark stairs seemed endless; they descended in a spiral that had continued for at least fifteen minutes.  Zexion assumed the girl was fatigued--as he himself was--though she did a splendid job of hiding it if she was.  "We're almost there," he said in a loud whisper, even though he certainly had no idea when it would end.  It probably took them another fifteen minutes before they'd reached the bottom of the staircase, which held...

Nothing.  Just nothing, except for a suit of armor in the corner of the room.  The teen let out a low frustrated sigh.  He'd heard Xemnas had something of great value transported to the very heart of Castle Oblivion, and he, wishing to know everyone's hidden thoughts and endeavors, wanted to come see it for himself.  He circled the room several times, yet nothing else was visible.  "Nothing," he murmured, more to himself than Namine.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Here ya are!  Hope you guys like sea-salt!"  Pence handed Xion and Roxas each a stick of blue-colored ice cream.  It was both sweet and salty simultaneously.  Together the four--including Hayner--sat upon the clock tower, silently eating their frozen treats.  When the silence finally crept up on Pence and started to bug him, he decided he'd break it by speaking to the two strangely dressed companions.  "So...where are you guys from?  I've noticed you're dressed almost alike."

"We're...uh...we're from.." Roxas stammered, looking to Xion for help. He wasn't sure what to say, but he was certain saying 'Oh, we're from a massive floating castle that rests between null and the abyss, where the only light is a massive heart-shaped moon that we all essentially worship' would probably induce a few odd looks.

Roxas sighed, looking down at the ground. "We're from far away."

"God he's stronger than I thought" he laughed at how angry 'old lady' was getting "Im just to good!" he shouted out then pulled out his Sitar again and started playing it over and over until someone got annoyed by it, He just likes to test peoples nerves.

Hayner was licking his ice cream sitting beside Pence looking at Roxas and Xion "Are you two like boyfriend and girlfriend or something because it looks like it"

Saix shook his head irritably at Vexen's outburst. He looked around the room, and over at Demyx, he could honestly hardly blame Vexen for getting irritated with the younger organization member. He knew it would do no good if he asked Demyx to stop playing his Sitar, but Saix walked over to him anyway. "Demyx, perhaps you would consider playing your instrument just a bit more quietly. You're setting everyones teeth on edge."

.........................

By the time they had reached the bottom of the stairs Naminé was rather exhausted, she let out a sigh of relief when they stopped. While Zexion circled the room Naminé walked over to the armor and stared at it. She had never seen anything like it. She wondered why it was there or whom it belonged to. Slowly Naminé reached out and touched it with her hand. "Why do you think this is here?" she asked Zexion, curiosity making her less timid. "Is this one of the mysterious rooms that no one's ever found before?"

........................

Sora stepped out of the illusion of Neverland, everything had gone fairly well there. He stuck his hands behind his head as he made his way toward the next floor, while keeping an eye out for the members of the mysterious Organization XIII. He wondered how many more floors the castle had, there couldn't be too much more of it. Though he'd lost track of how many floors he'd gone through so far. He hoped he was nearly done.

Pence nodded understandingly.  "Oh, that's cool.  I like meeting people from all over."  He took a bite out of his ice-cream, chewing it thoughtfully as he listened to Hayner's suggestion.  Arching a brow in surprise, the dark-haired teen said, "Well, I'd always kinda thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend.  You guys are, aren't you?"  It was true:  Pence was far from tactful.  Something that Hayner likely knew fairly well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sora took another flight of stairs to the next level of the castle.  Each room seemed identical in appearance, with its white interior and stars on either side.  As Sora flung upon a new set of doors, however, he encountered a tall man with long, pale-blond hair stepping out of a dark portal.  The man shook his hair from his face, his black organization coat swaying slightly.  At first the man didn't take notice of him.  But once he had, a small smile curved the edges of his lips: an expression far from warm or friendly.

"Ah, if it isn't our little Keyblade bearer," said Vexen softly, summoning his shield in his right hand.  "Let's see, what brings you to wander the halls of our bright and lonely castle?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"I wouldn't assume no one's been here before, because obviously one has"--Zexion gestured to the suit of armor in front of them--"as for the armor, I'm afraid I do not know who it once belonged to.  It is likely here to divert our attention from whatever else is being kept here, though I have no concept for what it may be."  He stole a final sweeping glance across the armor, then traced the white walls of the room.  Once the steel-haired teen was satisfied that nothing of interest lingered, he turned on heel and began towards the stairs.  "Come, Namine; it is time to see what your gracious host is up to."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xemnas entered his room after a very long day.  On the desk was a letter addressed to him; he'd no idea where it came from, nor who composed it.  Upon picking it up, Xemnas would discover that the letter read:

You think you've won, my old friend, but instead my game has just begun--

Much to the Superior's dismay, the letter was unsigned.

Roxas gasped. "N-no, we're not in a relationship or anything like that. We're just friends. That's all." Roxas said quickly, glad that as a Nobody, blushing was something he couldn't do. He still though, felt the lingering feeling of heat rising to his face.

He looked to Xion again, giving an awkward smile. "Y-yeah, definitely not in a relationship..."

Xion gave him a confused look. "I don't see what the big deal is." She nom'd on her Sea-Salt Ice-Cream.

"I wonder why they treated us...did they feel bad...Maybe Roxas knows." She kept quiet and kept eating.

The Ice-Cream was salty, yet sweet. A taste that drew her in. She didn't know why. Maybe it just didn't matter. "What about this taste draws people close?" She wondered aloud.

"Aah, don't sweat it, Demyx" Axel said to Demyx as he laid down

He then walked over to Saix, looking out the same window he had been before he turned

"Back at the castle.." He started quietly

Pence's jaw dropped unintentionally, to which he quickly shut.  "Geez, sorry about that!  I was sure you guys must've been together."  He turned a deep shade of crimson before turning away, watching the sky that never changed from its stagnant twilight state.  "As for the ice cream flavor, I've always kind of thought it built friendships, but of course that's only my theory.  What do you guys think?"

As the time slipped by, the Organization--namely Saix--grew antsy for the two newest members to return.

Larxene popped out of Neverland. She glared at Sora, who was standing a few steps ahead. "Finally. You know how annoying it is to search for you and a stupid pirate ship." Larxene spoke, slightly frustrated. "Now let me have my fun." Larxene snapped her fingers, causing both her and Sora to be transported into an odd dimension of darkness, with but one area of white to do battle on.

Repliku sneered. "You could say that." He replied to Marluxia. He turned back to the Graceful Assassin. "Tell me where Riku is. I want to see him." Repliku spoke with all seriousness. That was his only wish. To talk to the original.

Marluxia nodded. "If that's all you wish, then you can consider it granted. Riku, to my knowledge, is currently in the basement of this place, having only just awoken from his slumber. But if you want to see him, you'd best act fast: I doubt he'll be inclined to linger too long."

Inclined to believe that this conversation was over, Marluxia departed in a swirl of darkness and roses, reappearing once again in the room where he had left Zexion and Namine prior. Number XI was pleased to see that Zexion was still away: had he beaten Marluxia back, he might have noticed the extended absence. As it was, no one was the wiser, and Marluxia let the small smile return to his lips.

Roxas sighed, looking back down again. He had long ago finished his bar, and now he simply stared at the wooden popsicle stick, slightly upset that it wasn't a 'Winner' stick. He had one already -he planned to give it to Axel-, but another one would surely go to Xion.

If only he knew what he won.

"It's about time that we left, Xion."

Saix looked at Axel, curious as to what he had found out in the castle, then glanced around the room, there were still some people within the gray room, people he wasn't sure should overhear. "Come with me, let us talk somewhere more private," he told Axel, walking towards the entrance of the gray room. He paused there, waiting for Axel to follow.

.....................

Naminé didn't want to go back to the room with Marluxia, but she knew better then to argue with one of her captors. Instead she shot the armor one last look. Perhaps she could draw it when she got back, it would give her something to do anyway. Then she followed Zexion back up the winding staircase.

....................

Sora pulled out his Keyblade in a brief flash of light, looking back and forth between the two Organization XIII members. This certainly couldn't be good. He didn't like any of the Organization members one bit, at least out of the ones he had met. They were definitely up to trouble. Sora pointed his Keyblade in the direction of Larxene and frowned. "What have you guys done to Naminé?! I know she's here!"

Xigbar reappeared in his room. Lexaeus was apparently still looking for the Superior, and Xigbar had others things to do then just follow along. He snapped his fingers and a Smiper Nobody appeared.

"Keep an eye on Rocky." he instructed.

The lessor Nobody bowed and vanished. Xigbar let out a beath and blinked into the Grey Room.

At the mention of leaving, Pence's face fell.  "Leaving already?"  Yet, the teen nodded in understanding.  "Well, anyway, it was nice meeting you.  Maybe we'll meet again soon?"

----------------------------------------------------

"Now, then, remember what I said before," muttered Zexion in a warning tone as he led her back to her room of imprisonment.  "Never utter a word about where we went.  If you do as I ask, perhaps I'll take you out for a little treat next time."  Not that he was entirely lying; he wouldn't have minded taking Namine out again.  She was a sweet girl, and, while he'd never admit it, he felt awful about what Marluxia was doing to her.  He was in no position to do anything about it, however--at least not at the moment.

He opened the door to let Namine in before himself.  Marluxia stood in the room, obviously awaiting their return.  The cloaked schemer nodded curtly to his elder.  "Well, here she is.  I believe she's gotten her fill of the castle now"--Zexion paused, his eyes tracing over the graceful assassin's form skeptically--"I trust you'll return to headquarters soon to report to the Superior?"  Something about Marluxia's smile sent warning chills down Zexion's spine, though, as per usual, he didn't understand why.

----------------------------------------------------

A cold laugh pierced the air, one that felt as though it'd dropped the temperate of the room by several degrees.  "What have we done to Namine?  Well, my dear boy, I think that's none of your business!"  Vexen raised his shield, his wide smile maniacal.  He'd been looking for a good fight all day; now it looked like he'd finally get one.  Not that he was out to kill the Keyblade wielder.  No, he merely wanted to extract data for a further experiment--if he ever got his device up and running again.

"Larxene, let us show this arrogant Keyblade wielder what Organization XIII is made of!"  With that, Vexen charged forward, his shield ready to send a heavy blow to Sora's head.

Marluxia nodded approvingly. "I trust that I shall." Then, flipping a strand of pink  hair from his eyes, added "As for the replica, it functions well, though I wonder if Vexen has done his job too well with emulating Riku. It's physically capable, but it's grown restless, and I fear it may do something rash if it isn't tempered. But I shall leave that matter to my betters."

Then, to Namine, he said, with a faux tone of warmth, "Now, then, Namine. Behave yourself while I'm gone. And fear not: your patience will pay dividends in the future." Then, more coldly, "Though, if our plan with Sora is tampered with in any way, I'm afraid I can't promise anything." Ending on his usual self-satisfied smile, the Graceful Assassin opened a portal of darkness. "Should you need anything, I'm sure Larxene would be happy to accommodate you."

He walked through the portal...

...and the inky blackness before his eyes gave way to another white colored (though, with the lighting, it seemed more grey than anything) room in another castle. Marluxia wondered if he had even left.

Of course, the presence of Xemna's other lackies indicated that this was indeed the case. Looking about the Grey Room, Marluxia allowed himself a customary, "Good evening," even if he felt that the formality was wasted on these nobodies.
