Weiss 8,279 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) An event for Kingdom Hearts fans at the Magic Kingdom on October 25th, 2013. Come join us with your favorite KH cosplay or T-shirt, meet other fans, and enjoy the benefits of a Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween event night. ***YOU MUST REGISTER ON THE OFFICIAL PROJECT WEBSITE IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED*** CHECK OUT THE OFFICIAL PROJECT WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS: http://magickingdomhearts.webs.com/ In the truest spirit of Sora, our goal is to have fun… and maybe get Kingdom Hearts more prominence in the Magic Kingdom as a result. On October 25, 2013, hundreds of Kingdom Hearts fans—wearing their favorite KH cosplay or T-shirt—will fill the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Our vision is to join these two Kingdoms by connecting the hearts of a legion of fans. All attendants will meet in the monorail plaza at 3:00. Each participant will be photographed and recorded in ordered to keep track of all attendees, as well as given a lanyard or some other team identification for the event. Once everyone has arrived, we will board the monorail and enter the Magic Kingdom together. Our mission is to raise Disney’s awareness of the Kingdom Hearts fanbase at the Magic Kingdom by hosting a night where at least 300 fans attend one of Disney’s Halloween events dressed in cosplay or Kingdom Hearts clothing. At the same time, this event doubles as a Kingdom Hearts fellowship event for fans across the county—and across the globe. By connecting the hearts of a legion of fans, we will be connecting these two Kingdoms together. This is why our tag-line is: “Connecting Kingdom. Connecting Hearts.” Ultimately, our goal is to have Kingdom Hearts presented in the theme parks in some consistent way, either through merchandise, official Kingdom Hearts costumes, attractions, or some other presence. While we do not believe that this single event will get Kingdom Hearts into the Magic Kingdom over-night, we strongly believe that it is a powerful step towards that final goal. Our motto is: “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” Walt Disney himself saw this as his personal philosophy for life and kept moving forward towards his own dreams of theme parks, memorable characters, and animated films. We hope to follow his legacy by doing something seemingly impossible—getting Kingdom Hearts into the Magic Kingdom. If Walt could do it, so can we. We believe that—by uniting together—we can accomplish our own impossible goal… and have fun at the same time. **EVENT RULES** All participants are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. We highly recommend purchasing them online, as the park may fill up. We don’t want anybody being left out! Tickets for the event have not gone on sale yet, but we will alert everyone the moment that they do, so keep an eye on this page. There are three basic rules for this event: 1. Respect yourself—don’t to anything you’ll be ashamed of later 2. Respect others—treat others the way you would want to be treated 3. Have fun—most important of all! Please visit this FAQ page for details on what to wear, what to expect from the event, additional rules and so on: http://magickingdomhearts.webs.com/faq Firetruck yes Edited April 8, 2013 by Weiss 5 Kaneki Ken, KINGDOMxHEARTSz, Imoore4 and 2 others reacted to this

So if disrespecting others is fun for you...You're still following the rules. hahaha 4 Sora's Baby, The_eternal_nothing, Reyn and 1 other reacted to this
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) THIS IS DESPICABLE!!!!! GRRR....figures! :x It makes me very unhappy how two of my favorite things, KH and Disney, are going to be in the happiest place on Earth and I go down there this NOVEMBER! One blasted month after they do this! As cool as it is, I'm not down there when it happens! Oishii or some moderator better go down there and film the activity. AntonioKHT 449 Posted April 8, 2013 Wow, I'd go instantly, but I live in Brazil... It's just too far away... I can't spend more money this year with anything like a trip in the middle of school year... It's an awesome project, and everyone who can should go. And everyone who has the money of course . KH just deserves more attention, Disney has firetrucked us for way too long.. It's a good thing we get it some attention!

Cutsceneaddict 3 Posted April 27, 2013 Greetings everyone! My name is Cutsceneaddict. I'm the project manager of the Magic Kingdom Hearts event. I just wanted to say that I'm very glad that word of the project has spread so far. Thank you for making a forum topic about it The project is growing day-by-day. We have almost 50 attendees registered now. If im not in school and have my car im soo down Excellent! Hope to see you there! Make sure you sign up on the website! If they decide to do this in Disney Land, I'm goona seriously consider going. Unfortunately, this event is scheduled for the Magic Kingdom in Florida, but we are looking for someone to head up a parallel event in California. Keep an eye on our updates. Somebody may step up soon to do that. My team and I would be willing to work with whoever wanted to host the event in California. OMG I JUST SPLURGED. I live in Florida and am constructing a Xaldin cosplay (I need to build my body a tad bit more, first. I'm OCD like that :x ) Awesome! I'd love to see you there! We currently don't have any Xaldin cosplayers signed up, so you'd be the very first! I lost all hope of ever going when I realized they were talking about Disneyworld in Florida and not Disneyland here in California T_T oh well this still seems like an interesting event hope those who go have a good time!~ I think we will all have a very good time. As I mentioned above, we're looking for someone to step up and host a similar event in California. So far, nobody has offered to host the other event. My team and I would be willing to work with them, should they choose to step up. I live in Florida. and best of all, I don't think I will be in school in october. still... depends on tickets. Here's hoping you can make it! Just make sure you register if you want to come! Wow I'm moving to Florida in June. Perfect timing! : D Agreed ^^ Finally, living in Florida has benefits!!! Depending on if I have a car soon, I could def do this!! Here's hoping you get a car soon then! I want to at least take a peak at what it would've been like if I could make it. We will be doing a lot of filming and uploading it to Youtube. I'm hoping to shoot a sort of mini-documentary about the event on-site as well. Perhaps if you bring it up to KH13, they'll send out reps to film the event too. The more the merrier ^^

Cutsceneaddict 3 Posted April 28, 2013 Does Disney and Square Enix know about this? I have not personally contacted Disney or Square Enix about this event. However, several Disney employees have contacted me and my team, saying that they want to be a part. A lot of them will be joining us on the event night, wearing cosplay and having fun along with the rest of us Disney may very well be aware of the event already. If not, then they will undoubtedly be aware by October 25th.
