Not only did Wonka damn well know that the kids would be picked off one by one, as he had just the right number of seats in both his boat and his foam car... but all the kids happen to die a death that has something to do with candy... Augustus becomes one with a chocolate river, that gum chewing bitch gets turned into a human blueberry, which in conjunction with the shrink ray whatchamacallit makes for nice bite sized children blueberries.
