Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 I'm just pondering on what species of flowers Marluxia uses in his appearances and attacks? It seems not of the Carmallia or chocolate family as the rose is apart of, but what flower could it be? Any thoughts?
CodedbyDays 12 Posted March 30, 2010 In the GBA game, it's sakura flowers (convenient, as they symbolize death and beauty). But in the PS2 game, they're blood red roses. Hmm...death or blood...
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 Hmm Sakura flowers? Sounds interesting.
VenxAqua 0 Posted March 30, 2010 he was suppose to be a woman after all.
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 Yes i've heard about that...they gave him a sex change instead. (ROFLMAO)
Liraxus 4 Posted March 30, 2010 *cough* Don't look at me that way.
CodedbyDays 12 Posted March 30, 2010 I'd say that that is a win. XDDD So, I guess those are sakura there. http://larein.deviantart.com/art/No-one-will-EVER-understand-41188079
baylaust 2,531 Posted March 30, 2010 So in one game, we have 'Sakura Flowers' which symbolize death, and in another we have 'Blood Red Roses'. In any case, Marluxia's flowers sound more menacing than he looks.
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 Well just by first glance you see a guy with pink hair and pretty petals falling from his coat, but when you know the meaning behind that you'd understand. Plus...you just gotta love that scythe!
Marluxia1313 0 Posted March 30, 2010 dude it says in the 358/2 days guide book that his flowers are dahlias. and i think it's cool that they made marluxia a guy not a girl i mean how many annoying girls with pink hair are there in anime and mang already.
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 dahlias? I guess so. But I wonder if the flower has any specific meaning? BUT WAIT! What if its a different flower for each game?
Marluxia1313 0 Posted March 30, 2010 Well... I guess but I don't think they are ever light enough to be cherry blossoms. They could be rose petals but the name of his scythe is "Graceful Dahlia" so...
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 That's no excuse -_-
Marluxia1313 0 Posted March 30, 2010 That's no excuse -_- what should i be looking for?
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 The meaning behind Marluxia himself. If the flowers were dahilas then what was his somebody's name? Surely a species of flower?
CodedbyDays 12 Posted March 30, 2010 dahlias? I guess so. But I wonder if the flower has any specific meaning? BUT WAIT! What if its a different flower for each game? Well, I might be wrong about the roses part. But I'm pretty sure that GBA's got some sakuras. If someone can find me screenshots of the two games, that'd be helpful. x_x I can't find any of the GBA game for some reason...
Sorage55 10 Posted March 30, 2010 Ummm...I belive KH Wiki has a shot of the GBA: http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Marluxia_(Second_Form) And here's a couple screen shots I did from the PS2 cutscene:
Rikulover333 0 Posted March 31, 2010 I really wish I could answer that question but what I want to know is why is power is over flowers and why he looks like a girl.
Sorage55 10 Posted March 31, 2010 He was originally supposed to be a girl, but they made him a guy instead.
CodedbyDays 12 Posted March 31, 2010 He was originally supposed to be a girl, but they made him a guy instead. Because they thought that it would be inappropriate to have two girls be taken down by the Organization. At least, that's my guess.
baylaust 2,531 Posted March 31, 2010 Also the fact that the 2 women in the Organization were the traitors must have seemed a bit off...
Sorage55 10 Posted March 31, 2010 Of course. We all know those facts. Or at least I do.
SummerRain 185 Posted April 1, 2010 dont take this the wrong way but why do u want 2 know
Sorage55 10 Posted April 1, 2010 Well as you may already know I create sigs and gifs. As I got better I took to the hand of making some characters myself. But when it came to naming Marluxia's flower petals I diddn't know what to say. I diddn't know, and no one knows Marluxia's somebody's name yet (which may be a species of flower which may be the flower he uses). But then we got to the Dihlia and I saw some comparison. But it still doesn't seem that right. And don't get me wrong, but why do you ask?
Think Pink 1,967 Posted April 25, 2010 Roses, I guess. I think Marluxia's a little...um...sorta crazy.
