BTW, here's a great site to see the range of nuclear attacks and if you would be affected if you live in/near a major city in the U.S! I'm in NW Chicago area, and it seems I would be safe from the standard nukes. You can see radiation spread radius, air blast radius, and flame radius! The site's definitely legit!

That's what North Korea said. China has repeatedly wanted peace and negotiation on the Korean peninsula. They were also not happy with North Korea testing a nuclear bomb underground. From what China has been saying to the world, they don't seem like they want to get involved. I mean, that's how I view it.

Realistically, I wouldn't consider this a "World War", at least not in the traditional sense. The UN would certainly get involved, as would NATO, but they would merely play a hand in the political arena, not go over there and sort them out physically. The U.S. doesn't need any help in doing that, assuming North Korea tries anything foolish. If the US unleashed it's full defense capability on North Korea (i.e.employed its nuclear arsenal) THERE WOULD BE NO North Korea in a matter of HOURS. In fact it would end rather quickly on their behalf, like turning off a light switch.

 

As for North Korea demonstrating any allied influence, don't expect anything big. Even China is fed up with Kim's arrogance.

I'm not sure if they are anymore. I read somewhere that they would get mad if North Korea would do another nuclear testing, which North Korea not long after did.

Also, the US owes a lot of money to China, I'm not sure if China would be all that happy if the US would be eliminated and unable to pay their debt.
