Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) If you've been following Persona related news you know that more information related to the first Persona 3 movie titled Persona 3: The Spring of Birth surfaced recently. You may have also heard that Atlus has taken out a Persona related patent for the 3DS. Do you think that they may be planning yet another enhanced Persona 3 port? Why else would they be promoting an older game so much? If they are I will defiantly be playing it. I downloaded P3:FES but never got around to playing it. Another portable version would probably make me actually give it a try. I never really use my PSP anymore so I don't think I'll be downloading P3P. This is all just speculation but ever since they milked P4 so much I've been thinking they may be using the Persona franchise to bring more attention to the SMT franchise as a whole. Weiss 8,279 Posted April 2, 2013 There are possibilities. They could be porting the persona games to 3DS as they did with PSP and Vita. They could also be planning a sort of side game or spin-off of persona (so a spin-off of a spin-off) for it. I kind of doubt that one but it is a possibility. I doubt they'd make any main persona games for 3DS honestly. Just doesn't seem like it would happen imo. Kind of ironic that the person with Mitsuru as their avatar would be opposed to further promotion of P3. Anyway, pretty sure P5 is gonna be on a home console. I'm talking about the 3DS. Besides, last I heard they are working on Persona 5. There was an article on Siliconera last month saying P5 is in development. So it's, a-comin'. I like what they've done so far with P3 and P4, sure, but if they bring the Protagonist back, I'm out. I love Mitsuru and Akihiko and all of them, but sometimes you just gotta move on. mikethegamer 53 Posted April 4, 2013 Wait..why would they make a new port of Persona 3 (FES?) for the 3DS when the last Persona port was on the Vita? Why not make it on the Vita too? Unless its so the abreviated title can be P3DS TBH i thought Atlus abandoned the Persona 3DS game. It was "announced" a while ago but we haven't heard anything since. I'd kinda prefer a new P3 port to be on the Vita to go along with P4G. having both those games on the same system at the same time would be amazing ^__^ i don't want them to be isolated from each other by being on different consoles. it wouldn't be convient but nothings been officially announced so i wont worry....yet -__o and i sure hope P5 isn't made on the 3DS or any handheld for that matter.
