Assuming KHIII arrives in fall 2015, which is optimistic in my opinion. putting it out on a PS3 would mean putting out one of Square's most anticipated titles on an outdated system. If they wanted to, sure, that'd be fine with me. I'd love to have the whole saga on my PS3. But I don't think that's what's going to happen, they've waited too long.The ps3 won't be outdated just because the ps4 comes out.....In the past the previous game systems still receive new games for at least 3 more years after a new system comes out.... Even if the PS3 carries over the same kind of momentum, big developers are going to shift their resources towards making games for the most current hardware. Don't confuse 'outdated' with 'abandoned'; yes, the PS2 had plenty of games for years, but they were built on outdated hardware. It won't be any different this time around. Looking through this list I see a lot of movie tie-ins, I see a lot of sports and song games, cheaply made and easily ported. I see a lot of games that came out on both PS3 and PS2. I don't see any triple-A titles a year or two after the PS3's launch, and KHIII will be a triple-A title. I can envision it coming out on both PS3 and PS4 but it all depends on where they are in the development cycle. Considering the fact that everyone has been waiting for this and expect it to be on the PS3, if they released it on a new console after releasing so many on different handhelds there will be riots outside their building.
