Demyx. 10,064 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) I was thinking about it and I wish that Days was more about The Organization members. What I would have liked from Days. -Remove Xion completely. (I don't mean this in a hateful way. So don't freak out) They introduced a new character and put a lot of focus on her when there was no need for it. They already have 13 members that people love. -Focused more on The Organization. Less on Roxas. Think about it. Everyone has a favorite Organization member. It would have pleased everyone to get to know more about their favorite one. Roxas really didn't need that much focus. It could be summed up like this: Roxas was a zombie. He started to get Sora's memories. He rebelled against The Organization. He fought Riku and then got captured by DiZ. -Different days means different members. I would have liked to play as different Organization members on different days. Like, play as Axel for a few days. Then play as Demyx. So on and so forth. They could have always returned to a different Organization member later on too. -Didn't try so hard to make it tragic. The game was just sort of a downer to me. Not in the way that it should have been. It just made everything sort of, "meh". Sad stories can be interesting and pull at the heart strings. But, to me, days was really trying to force it. Again, with Xion, she was a brand new character. Her purpose was basically to make the game a sad story. It was just sort of forced in there. So, she became a character that I could care less about. -That muliplayer... It really sucked. Seriously...It was bad. None of The Organization members showcased their powers. They all had general boring attacks. They also had the same magic attacks as Roxas. Seriously...Demyx didn't even have a water attack and could use fire...Axel could use ice...You see the problem there? They could have removed the multiplayer altogether and focused on the characters gameplay and made it a part of the story. This is just my opinion. So, PLEASE don't get all defensive about Xion...I'd like to see what people think and if you do that the thread will just turn into a Xion fight. Dracozombie 4,554 Posted March 27, 2013 Honestly, I don't care much for the non-Roxas Organization members, and I would've been disinterested in the game if it gave the other members too much focus. Granted, the game made me stop hating Axel (you know the fandom is BS when the first thing I ever learned about Axel was that he was usually paired with Roxas), and I don't mind Xion even if her inclusion was unnecessary, but the problem with dividing the attention among thirteen members is... dividing up the attention. We don't really need to know things about Demyx or Xaldin beyond what we've already learned, and the other Organization members who need the attention already got their time to shine in CoM. Days is Roxas's story and his development is more intricate than just going from zombie to non-zombie due to Sora's memories. I don't feel deprived having not learned more about the other Org members because I don't think they really need that level of attention. Roxas might not have needed it, either, but I'll excuse him in that he has a direct connection to Sora and the Organization itself, not individual members. That's interesting because Days actually made me lose interest in Roxas. He apealled to me because of how mysterious he was and I thought that was cool. Then they turned him into a sob story and I don't even care about him anymore. Also, Days wasn't exactly necessary in the first place. I thought Roxas was okay in KH2. To me, he was just some Sora-based kid with a keyblade and then boop, he disappears. Then I got to see everything that led up to it and now he's one of my favorite characters--he might currently hold the title for top favorite. I won't argue for Days's critical importance to the overall storyline, either, but it was nice to see Roxas fleshed out. IMO, I don't think his story was that much of a sob story; I think that honor goes to Xion.
Weiss 8,279 Posted March 27, 2013 I do disagree with some of the story parts, minus Xion of course I agree with that, but everything else I fully agree with. Especially more focus on other members. We still no so little about some members, like Luxord.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted March 27, 2013 I'll merely say I too would have liked more members fleshed out. Would have made the game interesting. I disagree about Xion; but I will leave it at that as I don't want another fight.
111ssuk 17 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) In my opinion, the whole story of Days should have only been in Roxas's point of view. Or in the all members of the Organization. Edited March 27, 2013 by 111ssuk
Nathan Hatton 274 Posted March 27, 2013 I dont mind Xion but she is definitely forced in spots. And I would have loved to play as members of the organization more.
