Sora96 17,256 Posted March 26, 2013 Since Re:Chain of Memories wasn't released in Australia or Europe I have no idea what's it really like to play it. I completed Chain of Memories on the Gameboy Advance but that's a completely console. So what's it like? Is it easy? Does it take awhile to get the hang of? I can't wait to finally play it later this year.
OthersiderME 614 Posted March 26, 2013 If I remember right, it's just like KH1 with movement, but with CoM's card attacking. I'm not entirely sure, as I played it once in a game store a long time ago. 1 Zola reacted to this
MrSanderss 80 Posted March 26, 2013 It's quite easy, the gameplay is essentially a lot quicker while still very similar.

I'd thought that you of all people would have played and finished it I modded my PS2 so it runs NTSC and PAL games now But I never played much of the game, I let my younger brother play and watched as he finished it though
TheOriginalBob 110 Posted March 26, 2013 It's been a while since I played GBA version but I know a game play issue sometimes would be the camera. Finding friend cards bouncing around the battle area was much simpler on GBA. The battle areas are much bigger in Re:COM. The Pluto card can be a game changer too when you're running low on cards. Besides the extra cards/sleights it's much of the same. Oh yeah, 100 acre woods is entirely different in Re:COM, just your usual mini games. No escorting Pooh the entire way. You'll soon find it's just like playing KHI with cards when you get to grips with it.
Hazimie 1,595 Posted March 26, 2013 One tip for you in every battle on that game.CARDS.....so yeah, that will sums it up... ^_^

There are new Sleights like Lethal Flame(Which stops the enemy in its tracks and allows you to unleash a flurry of blows on it) and Firaga Burst. There are also new Enemy cards for the other organization members(I.E. Roxas, Xemnas, etc.) Also you can learn Glide and Super Glide, which makes it easier to get around and avoid enemies in the rooms. If you've played KH1 and COM, you'll have no problem with this. Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted March 26, 2013 Except for movement it's basically the same as the original only with the addition of the BbS version of the Reaction Command system. (i.e. the extra attacks in slights like Sonic Blade can be activated by pressing buttons with the right timing). They also nerfed the bosses so it's easier and they gave Marluxia an additional form during the final battle with him.
Weiss 8,279 Posted March 26, 2013 It's pretty much the exact same thing as Com but in 3D. Well that's the gameplay pretty much.
advfox 698 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) Same as CoM, with 3D movement, reaction commands, replaced sleights, High Jump, and Glide/Super Glide. In my opinion, it's easier than CoM. And if you've played KH1, the game won't take long to get used to at all. Edited March 26, 2013 by ProwerPower
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted March 26, 2013 I would say it's difficult to master the battleing part of the gameplay.
KH4Real 749 Posted March 26, 2013 I saw the captain hook battle on youtube. It's so much easier then in CoM. I think I can do this game on proud. 1 Reyn reacted to this
