The Xion battleground

I love Xion. Even if she wasn't supposed to exist, and even if she was causing trouble to Sora & Roxas, she is a wonderful character with a sad story.

How is it tragic at all? She caused so many problems she deserved what she got.

 

Plus she forced roxas to kill her so they both could go back to sora without telling him the truth.

When Xemnas tells him that she shouldn't be in their number and then he goes after her hunting her and bringing her back to the organization so that Xemnas and his friends could make her what they wanted. Yes it would be better if Xion had defeated Roxas cause then he wouldn't have to get captured by DiZ and forced to live a fake life for a few days and for him to feel all this pain when he found out that he was a nobody....Xion did NOTHING wrong. You all haterz of Xion don'ta have a heart....you're worse than the nobodies

They were going to destroy her if she didn't come back. Or she would have disappeared by going back to Sora. At that point they needed her so Axel brought her back knowing they wouldn't get rid of her.

 

Xion did nothing wrong? All three of them messed up in ways and I think most people admit that.

Xion deliberately held the truth from Roxas just as much as Axel did . He also tried to stop both of them from destroying each other in Halloween town absorbing both of their blows at the same time. He defended Xion to Saix and didn't want either destroyed but did not see a way out of the situation for any of them .He didnt think the truth would've helped save them bc they were told they would all be destroyed if they defied the organization .Therefore he didnt want  them to leave and feared that would be their fates if the truth came out . He wanted to find a way to save both but didn't know how.. In short , he was wrong to keep the truth but his motivation made more sense than Xion's bc she didn't even have logic to constantly running away and even threatening her fellow best friends . She confided in Namine and Riku  yet not her best friends . Telling her friends the truth might not have changed their fates , but at least their friendship didn't have to end the way it did and with some dignity .Roxas deserved to at least accept his own fate which Xion cruelly robbed him of .She made that decision for him and in the most firetrucked up manner by cruelly forcing him to kill her . He could've at least understood why she was doing this . Basically they all made mistakes but constantly blaming Axel makes no sense when Xion made her share too.

1)As i said before, there's somethings you HAVE to lie to your friends for (trust me, i know the feel).

 

2)Also, "Xion cruelly forcing Roxas to kill her" is a bit unfair, don't you think?

Roxas wouldn't have killed Xion if she told him the whole thing. Roxas would panic and constantly try to find other, really immature ways of saving the trio.

At least by letting Roxas be the one to end her, she was able to tell him to leave the Org.13. 

If she would have let Xigbar or Saix kill her, would she really expect to tell them to stop Xemnas?  

 

3)Also, Axel had a proper reason to keep secrets from them as well, some things are just better lied about.

 

4)And Xion confided in Riku and Namine because, obviously, they knew more about what she needed to do and Roxas or Axel.

I thought the character functioned very well within the story. I understand the complaints that she was  a little flat in some places, but I actually think that works in her favor, in an odd way, because she can only be manufactured out of bits and pieces of Sora's memory, rather than ever develop on her own. If nothing else, Xion is a great example of trying something different with a character: everything about her is fake, even when she thinks she is having emotions, and this paradoxical existence is fun to read and analyze.

Just bc people have reasons to keep secrets doesn't mean they SHOULD'VE . Doesn't everyone , thats why they are called secrets ! ? Having motivations behind it helps make it more understandable but that doesn't make it right .There's a difference you know

 

Roxas had a right to know his own fate and it was cruelly just forced upon him without him even getting to know what was going on .Thats wrong no matter how you try to justify it .Period 

 

It still makes no sense whatsoever why she couldn't have confided in her closest friends no matter what excuses you make . Especially bc of above said reasons.Also as stated above i also feel Axel was wrong for not going to them as well for reasons previously mentioned although i still understand why he did it. This all added to said frustration in the first place . Theres also no excuse for her going around physically threatening her friends left and right and then Roxas has the nerve to get mad at AXEL  for using physical force on HER  when he had no choice . Which he didn't . Its  stupid and hypocritical. Also Axel did let her go when he saw her face with Xigbar . He also stated he knew going back to Sora was prolly best from the start so you cannot say what Axel would or wouldn't have said or done if she had just confided in him . Thats why Axel had a hard time keeping this from Roxas- he knew they were screwed and he didnt know how or what to do bc it was inevitable what had to happen. It could've just ended with more dignity and respect for their mutual friendship. Roxas didn't need Xion to tell him to leave -- he had already left remember ? LOL

 

Lastly I knew what Xaon was doing from the start .LOL He tells me everything !
