mao looked at the child he seemed to be trying so hard such a youngling yet so determined. he looked at the jeep then the key's he let the boy keep going with the key's he walked around the place for a minute looking for anything that looked off or moved he came back and stood next to the boy who was still trying key's he looked throw the window the  door was open on the other side there was blood all over the sit and te keys where no where he patted the boy on the head then looked outside the garage door and went over to the other side of the jeep "....where is it..." he stood there for a minute then heard some fall over .

Hattie wiped the sweat off her forehead as Jack drove away from Wal-mart. When she heard Zion and Alessa having a conversation, Hattie smiled. At least they're trying to know each other. She turned to Rin, "Rin, you ok?" Hattie said in a calm voice.

"Got em."Malik chirped as he picked up the keys. There were only a couple of them so it wouldn't be much of a problem to try them and see if any of them were the Jeep's. He walked over to the man and looked inside the jeep. He shook to see blood inside it. "Gah.."Malik says. He then shook his head and put up a brave face. "One of these keys could be it. Maybe."Malik says as he offered the keys he had manage to get from the key rack. He looked inside and carefully crawled in the car and looked where the keys would go. "Dad always said keys would go here."He muttered as he took one key and used it. It wouldn't fit no matter how many times he turned it. He tried using another key but it wouldn't work either. "That's strange. I was sure this would be it."Malik says as he got off. He walked to the back seat side. "Maybe they left it back here?"Malik asks as he opened the door. As he did a chewed on,decapitated,and badly decomposed cadaver fell off the back seat. Malik jumped back and got his back against the nearest wall as his legs shook. The cadaver had no head,so I guess in zombie logic it wasn't alive. But it was still a spook. "I-I-I-It's dead????"Malik could mutter out. He then noticed something on the dead body. It had a key on its front pocket. Maybe the person had died before he could of escaped. Malik gulped. "T-That could be it.."

mao looked at the child and walked next to him he patted his head to reassure him of his saftey. he looked at the body an then the keys he had ignored the falling sound from a minute ago he put his hand on what was left of the person and picked it up he pulled the keys off. and tosed the body behind him as he did he heard a moaning sound he picked the boy up and put him in the front seat passenger side. and shut the door he walked back for a minute to see what was going on as it got a bit darker behind the tire rakes there was a small ally between the rakes and the wall he smelt blood and it was over the floor he keep going something was laying in the corner holding its neck it was a human they looked up scard "...pleas....get away...."there voice was low he looked at them as there eyes started to slowly fall he picked up the knife next to them and cut around there neck while there breathing slowly stopped "..die a human..." he stood up after words and returned to the boy opening the driver door he sat down and put the keys in the ignition.

Malik watched as the man walked back and satted down,turning on the engine of the car. Malik then turned and pulled down his seatbelt and got it on. Even in a zombie apocalypse,safety was important in any case. Atleast in Malik's mind. He looked out the window,as much as his stature allowed atleast. It was a somewhat cloudy day. He started to shuffle his feet a bit as he held his backpack in his arms. "This town is very populated. Maybe we will be able to find somewhere with more survivors. I heard in the radio alot of people from the farms had built barracades before being taken out by the goverment."Malik says as he shuffled his feet. He then realized,he haden't introduced himself. He turned to the man. "I haven't introduced myself,and you're helping me out. My name is Malik Corona. An honor to meet you mister."Malik says as he offered his hand for a handshake,still remembering the courtesy that was taught by his dad,now passed.

Rin looked up and looked at Hattie and gave a small smile. "Yeah I'm okay....just just trying to get my head around what's happening, that's all." It felt as if they've been driving forever. I hope we reach some safe location soon, she thought as she heard more screaming from outside, and I wonder how much gas this van has for it to be burning for so long

At on particularly loud scream, Eve squeaked in fear and hide against Alessa's shoulder. She peeked up, tears welling in her eyes. She was gripping Alessa a bit tightly, but Eve also was obviously extremy scared now.

The weight of the situation had finally had a chance to sink in, now that she was able to relax and rest.

And to realize how everything had been destroyed...eaten...

As the trauma finally sunk fully in, Eve's grip slackened as she felt dizzy.

Jack couldn't handle the screams anymore and slammed on the breaks.  He put his forehead against the steering wheel and swallowed his sadness.  "Should we try to help.  I mean if we die at least we were attempting to hold onto a selfless humanity.  I mean its not like we've been selfish.  We've all saved each other but....  Should we help?" He asked looking at Hattie and curious to everyone's opinion on the matter.

Hattie bit her lip. She would love to help these people but if they try to save everyone, would they be able to handle it? "We should but...I'm not sure. If we save too many people, looking for resources will get difficult." She hoped she didn't sound cruel. Hattie cringed imagining the group fighting over supplies or getting killed by those walkers. However, the reactions from Rin and Eve was painful to her.

mao switced gears after seeing the boy put his set belt on he heard him talking  they had not left walmart yet.he put his foot near the gas and looked over to cheack again. he floored the jeep out of there without a means of stopping he drifted around the corner's makeing it to the front of walmart and slid the car across raming the side into walker's blood splatterd on the jeep a head hit the hood and guts where everywhere in there tracks. he had lined the jeep up with the road out and floored it once they where away from there it was quiet for a bit he keep looking forward they where on one of the highways surrounded the place "mao..." was the word he said to Malik refereeing to his name as the town was busting with  flames

Eve managed to look up.

"Save...whoever we....can..."

Then, like a puppet who's strings were cut, Eve fainted across Alessa's lap, finally reacting to the events of the day; the death, the running, the fighting.

The poor girl just had no energy left to stay awake.

"What if we set up a defensive strategy.  We just need to give them a chance at survival.  We kill the walkers that almost kill them and then we leave.  We can't just leave them and hope the make it alone.  I can't live with myself right now so how could I live with myself being selfish."  He said  "I just need to know if I'm thinking straight.  I see where you're coming from Hattie, but if we play it smart and safe we won't have to worry about loosing resources like food and health stuff on them.  It won't be fool proof but we can give them a chance."He said looking at Hattie

Malik setted his backpack down infront of his seat and watched as the man drove off and into the highway. He turned to him. "Mao?"Malik asks. He thought and smiled. "Mao. That's a nice name. Nice to meet you,Mao."Malik says as he glanced at the car's rearview mirror and watched as the town get further and further away as soon what was visible of it was only the blazing fiery red color. He rested back as the wipers cleaned zombie blood from the glass. He then looked in his backpack and took out this teddy bear plush. He hugged it and looked out the window. It was so desolate. They were the only car in the driveway besides a few cars that had no one in them as the owners more than likely had left on foot. The bear plushie helped him hug the stress out. It was something from home as well. "You're the first actual human being I've seen in weeks besides the zombies. Do you think there are other survivors out there? Like you and me?"Malik asks,hopefully stirring up a conversation as he looked out the window.

mao glaced at Malik but didnt say anything to him as the town started to turn cold he keep driving a road headed into town was comeing up "....he is small and probably hungry"  mao looked at the gas hand as he turned to get off the high way and back into town they came up slowly there was liss noise on the main road there was blood everwhere some of the walls had writing on it there where bodies smashed into the wall some of them where ripped in half others just completly meshed together he was looking for a place that would sell some canned food or at-least something the child could eat to give him energy besides he wanted to refuel the jeep whle they where there he turned off the main road things just keep getting weirder.

 Hattie looked at the review mirror to see Eve passed out. Another guilty feeling. "All right," She said with a sigh.

"That's the truth" he said with a smirk grabbing his gear.  He jumped out of the van and heard the scream.  "Guys we have to go help now"  He said cocking his shot gun with one hand and holding his ax in the other.  He then began running to the area seeing a man on his back screaming with this new looking walker ontop of him!

Malik looked out the widnow and watched the place. Most of the houses were barracaded. There was blood from place to place. The bussiness,atleast small ones,seemed a bit randsacked,as if people picked up all they could and simply left. Malik looked around as there were a few birds feeding off some cadavers. They haden't seen walkers so far. They should still be careful however. There was graffity on many walls with words such as 'THE END OF THE WORLD' or 'APOCALYPSE' or something related to such. Seemed like the town had gone crazy once it all started. "What a wierd place."Malik muttered as he watched around. There was a very small group of walkers,but they were extremely busy eating a corpse to even notice. Malik shook and covered his eyes from watching them eat the corpse. Other than that disturbing sight,it was getting foggy,and to make it worse,the fog was getting pretty dense. "Strange fog."Malik says as he looked out the window. He turned to Mao. "We could find a place to rest here. It would be nightfall soon I think."

Alessa gently placed Zion down so she was laying across the seat.Taking a deep breath,Alessa pulled out her gun and knife,but kept her backpack with her in case she got the knife knocked out of her hand again.Before he left Alessa left a note telling Zion that they were out saving some people and they would be back in a few.She then made sure the van was safe and no walkers would be able to get in.Alessa made sure her gun was loaded before walking towards everyone.She stayed a few feet away from the people,making sure the van was in her line of vision.

 Picking up her pistol, Hattie got out of the car to help, but before anyone could do anything, the walker on top of the man got shot in the head from the back as the walker collapse. Startled, Hattie ran toward the man and noticed he was just a teenage boy around 16 years old. "Thanks!" The boy told the group. "We didn't shoot that..." Hattie mumbled. "It was us." A deep voice answered. Everyone turned to see a full grown man around in his late 30's along with a woman who was obviously his wife, and two teenage sons around the age of 18. Each person in the family was carrying a gun.

mao looked at him and keep driving for a minute and moved his neck he stopped the car slowly and looked back for a minute nothing was following them it would seem this side of town was quiet empty it was weird he saw another road that lead back outside of town it would seem he had a place he wanted to go to e keep looking at the hill that was near the town and looked at the gas hand he saw a grocery store but didnt pull into it he knew the boy would need something to eat and with the gas amount they had they wouldnt be able to travel for very long at the momment he slid the jeep next to the store and looked at him and started opening the door slowly "...."

The father is holding a shot gun and has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.  "This is our guest.  Ya'll are welcome to stay with us too.  He left on a trip to town and we were worried when he didn't come back"  The dad said. Jack looked at the boy who looked scared but didn't want to say anything.   Jack then looked at Hattie  "Should we go?"

Malik got the teddy bear back in the backpack and looked at Mao. "We can check out if there's food there. Hopefully they're not all expired."Malik says as he opened the door and got off the car and got his backpack on. He closed the door. He looked up at the grocery store. The lights in it were still on but were flikering in a creppy way. Malik walked up infront of the car and looked to the other side. "There's a gas station there too."Malik says. He looked up at Mao. "We could split up if you want. You fill up the car with gas and I'll pick up food and drinks."Malik suggested as he looked at the grocery store. He was lucky to have his jacket on at the moment cause it was starting to get cold. He smiled at Mao. "Lets get started. I bet there's a bunch of canned food in there,and maybe cereal too."Malik says as he took out his machete for precausion and walked over to the store entrance. It was dead silent. But I guess it was a good thing,since walkers would be groaning. "Food and water. Energy drinks would be bad for the system."Malik says as he made a mental note and walked around a bit.

Eve shakily sat up, breathing hard.

She looked around, then scooted closer to the back doors. She was alone.

"Alessa? Hattie? Rin?" She called. "Anyone?"

Rin raised her head up and looked out the window to see everyone from van but Zion outside with a group of strangers she did not recognize, but it looked like they weren't walkers. Who are those people? did i fall asleep, she thought, rubbed her eye and heard hard breathing behind her. "Zion?" she said and looked towards the back of the van. Rin saw Zion near the back doors and she looked as if she saw a ghost. "Are you okay?" she asked

Alessa looked back at the van,"Uh..I don't think I wanna go I have a bad feeling."She looked up at the group of people.Even the sight of them made her want to run,and the feeling that she seemed to always get was starting to grow."I'm just going to go back to the van."She pointed behind her as she made her way back.Alessa smiled faintly as she climbed back into the van."Hey....we found people...they want us to come with them but I declined.It's a bad feeling.."She looked up at Zion,"Are you feeling okay?"
