Alessa accepted the cracker,taking small bites out of it.

"Um well I don't mind being by myself..I've taken enough self defense classes to handle everything..but I would prefer being around more people." She sat up quickly and looked back towards the weapons."I'm going to find some things to hold my weapons..and maybe some more ammo.."She said and began heading back towards the aisle."Oh.i'm Alessa Liddell by the way."

"The walkie talkies are for people in the group the few times we need to go into town or something like that." He said "Now my vote is we stay together.  But if ya'll want to go solo you do that just don't waste our supplies." he said bluntly but not really wanting to be alone himself.  When he's alone he tends to think the worst.  "Now all of us may be capable to be alone and survive for a while but it always helps having someone watching your back." He said

Hattie looked at the group deciding whether she should trust them or not. Couple years of talking to prisoners, Hattie can mostly tell if a person is lying. Several seconds of staring, Hattie knew they were just regular people trying to survive just like her. "I rather be in a group then be all alone, count me in."

As Alessa gathered some supplies to hold her gun,ammo and knife she thought about whether to leave or stay.

 

He did make a good point about having to have someone and looking out for each other....

"Hey I made up my mind.."Alessa said as she walked back to everyone,"I will stay with you guys.." 

She face-palmed herself realizing that they could have made up their minds about splitting,"But only if we're staying in a group..I wouldn't want to bother anyone."She added quickly.

(HOLY CRAP!   I've been watching walkthroughs too and you just spoiled it too me ;(  I'm on episode 2 and I don't want to finish now UGH lol i'm sticking to dead Island)Jack felt relieved when he found out he wasn't going to be alone.  Now he did want to blow his brains out with his shot gun.  Jack nodded to both the girls!  "Fantastic!  3 is so much better than 1" He said not showing a grin, still holding back his emotions.  He then took a bite from his crackers.

Eve slowly stood.

"I'll stay with you." She mumbled before heading away to find arrows. She actually was pretty shy...so she walked away rather quickly.

And found a decent stash. Awesome.

She drew her bow, testing the arrows. They were ok.

 

She then stopped by the clothing section and grabbed some camo shorts and a tank top, then a button-up shirt for good measure. More practical then her skirt and school blouse. But she threw them in her pack before heading back, now dressed in camo cargo shorts anda blackT-shirt under a black button-up shirt. She sat down where the others had been.

"Is the McDonalds stocked? Might be able to store water in the containers in sporting goods." She said. "And call me Zion." She added.

Alessa managed a small awkward smile at the idea of having living people around.

 

That's good,now we can watch out for each other..

 

Her eyes shifted to her feet as she thought out ways she could help."Um...when we find a base I wouldn't mind being the one to retrieve food and water.I'm pretty quick and I know a few secret places to sneak around."She suggested.

Pushing aside her stubbornness, Rin said "Fine, I guess I'll stay with you guys". She then pulled out her guns and reloaded them with more bullets. She doesn't run out of bullets quickly so her current stock on ammo may last her a bit.  Everyone here seems so shy, she thought while wiping off one of her guns, i guess we'll get use to each other sooner or later.

mao stood outside playing with the walkers riding around them with the board he stopped for  minute at the other end of the parking lot he remembered the ones that he saw enter the walmart his face was dark behind the mask he .looked up slowly at the power lines he moved on the board and hit a walker in the face with he had yet to pull the sword out of its cane type holder he looked at one of the walkers that where crawling on teh ground he put his foot on its head "..boring.." he crushed its skull and head into the ground  peices of everting went flying the ground under him covered in blood .he turned back to the light pool ten the power line he hit the pool again to bring the walkers that where around him  closer he put the board on his back then  climed one of the pool's he got to the top then jumped for one of the power polls. "....." he pulled the sword from his back he stood on top of the power-line pool then slashed the line the power in wal-mart  was starting to flicker out.

Jack dropped the f bomb when the power went out.  Luckily the gate was still electrified from the car batteries.  Stay close no more leaving without a buddy we will all pair up.  No one leaves without there buddy!  These walkers are tearing the fuse box I guess" He says tensing up a bit.  "Now go find a buddy ladies" he said looking around

Eve attached herself to Alessa, who was the closest person, without a word. She looked at her sneakers, mostly quiet.

She wished she knew someone...not just met them.

Eve stuck her hands in her pockets, sighing.

Life sucked now.

Alessa whimpered when the power suddenly shut off.She was surprised when Zion parred up with her.Usually no one really wanted to due to awkwardness.

 

"H-hello..."Alessa said nervously.She shifted awkwardly before glimpsing out the clear doors,hoping they could get out of the dark soon.

As she waited for Zion to reply,Alessa examined the ground..though it was useless with the darkness.She sighed as more peaceful memories clouded her thoughts.The kind of memories everyone wants right about now.

"Do you think this is going to end?"She asked quietly.

Hattie took out a flashlight from her backpack flicking it on to see startled faces from the group. When Jack told them to pick a buddy, she replied, "Well since there are 5 people, one buddy group is gonna have 3."

The lights suddenly went out and Rin felt her eyes automatically start widening. Oh great, she thought and stood still. All she could hear was the others saying something but Rin couldnt make it out since she wasn't really listening and there was the noise of the walkers coming from the outside. When the bright ray of the flashlight hit her face, Rin squinted a bit and saw that it was coming from Hattie

Eve looked away shyly. "Hi." She replied softly, just as awkward with strangers as Alessa.

Digging into her pack, Eve withdrew a flashlight and turned it on. "Um...where are we gonna go." She asked softly, sorta hiding behind Alessa. Leave she heard.

But where?

Hopefully somewhere safe...

Alessa slowly relaxed as people pulled at flash lights.

Many questions had started going through her head the main one repeating over and over if this was all going to end.

She looked back at the walkers nervously as a bad feeling began to form in her stomach making her feel nauseous.Her friends had always joked around,calling her physic whenever she had a bad feeling..usually they were always right.She just hoped this one wasn't. Alessa hummed a song quietly to distract her from the feeling,but the sound of the walkers outside made it hard to forget.

"Fine how bout Rin goes with them and Hattie you're with me.  These are our groups so when we split up go with them!"  "Well this place is still safe so we can stay here a bit longer.  If not I found a UHAUL for Walmart in the back docking area with keys in the ignition so thats our ticket out.  I'll drive and some of you can hang out in the back part. But that is our last resort" he said

Weapon:  Machete and a 357 Magnum Revolver.

Short Bio:  Mailk was actually at the Zoo with his parents when it all started. Walkers had walked up into the zoo and hell had broken lose. As the rush of people running  trying to escape the walkers, Malik was separated from his mom. Malik found himself alone in a rush of screaming people and hungry zombies. He hid inside a small food stand and sat down behind the counter. After a few hours of assurance that the zoo was empty, Malik walked out of the zoo and hurried home. Sadly, his parents weren’t there, and neither of them would answer their cellphone either. He realized that he had now found himself in a Zombie-Movie-like situation. He was pretty mature for his age, a good thing for him, as he put all those lessons he learned from Zombie movies to work. He got his backpack and stuffed it with food, water, and his dad’s gun and its ammo. Before walking out he walked into the garage and picked up his mother’s machete. Even though it was for gardening, it would come useful. Now Malik travels alone. Hopeful to find someone, maybe police, army men, other survivors.  Anything besides walking dead (*tun tun,ptzzz*) and the teddy bear he carried around. Relying on instinct, his maturity, and what he has learned from watching survival shows on tv, he does his best, as best as a 12 year old can on his own.

mao stood at the top of the poll and looked over at the walmart hefolded his arms and waitied up there the walkers where down belowreaching up but where getting no where he pulled a rock from his pocket and hit another poll with it makeing a noise he then jumped down fromhis place once the walkers had moved he put his board down he had looked there were severl walkers in the lot spread out he was going to bring them all together "....hmm.." he got on the board and keep hitting the polls one by one he was makeing the walkers follow the noise he rushed around the back side of wal-mart and even hit the loading area's as well he was pulling all of them to the front of the walmart without a care in the world.

"There was once a crooked man,who walked down a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence on a crooked tile. He bought a crooked cat that caught a crooked mouse. And they all lived together in the crooked house."

 

Malik walked down the railroad track. It was the once place he would follow down for direction,and hoped to find towns or houses or stations to get food and shelter in. Sleeping in the trees and making sure you didn't fell wasn't very comfortable either. He yawned. "I need to find a bed soon. Otherwise I won't be able to get 8 proper hours of sleep. If that happens walkers might appear and I will be sleepy. Then I'd be dead. Or Zombiefied."Malik says,talking to himself to keep his sanity in a stable state,and so he wouldn't forget how to talk. He looked back at his backpack where he kept his teddy bear. "What do you think,Mr.Teddy?"Malik asks. No answer as there was silence,only the sound of footsteps could be heard. Malik looked back up. "I thought so too."Malik says. He then stopped and looked up. There was a station up ahead. Station meant food,and maybe a town or city nearby as well. "(Perfect)"Malik thought to himself as he hurried towards the station. Sneaking around to make sure there weren't any walkers,and that they didn't spot him,atleast not yet so far. He haden't seen any survivors ever since the zoo incident. He really hoped he'd find some one day,maybe they might accept a 12 year old if he promised not to be annoying.

Alessa's nervousness returned as more walkers began to come to the front.Slowly the feeling in her stomach began again.

"Um..guys..I-i have a really bad feeling...I think more walkers are appearing..and what if they manage to break through the doors.."Alessa got quieter with each word,realizing she must sound dumb to everyone.She pulled a necklace out of her shorts pocket.It had been a gift from her mom.

Malik looked around the station. It was drop dead empty and full of dust. Everything was left as it was,with the papers all messed on the floor. "I don't think we're gonna find food in here."Malik muttered as he didn't find any vending machines,and trash didn't seemed like a yummy thing to eat. He wasn't that desperate. He walked around and stopped infront of a map. It was a map of the railroad routes. "This should be useful."Malik says. He got on his tiptoes and ripped the map off the wall, getting it in his backpack. He walked out the front door of the station and stared at the desolate city. "It's all empty. But I shouldn't be surprised if I see walkers."Malik says. He walked down to the street and looked around. It was erie quiet. The kind of quiet that sent chills down your spine. "No signs of life."Malik sighed. He then reached on his back and pulled out his machete. "Might as well search. Maybe I could rest here for the day. I'll need some rope too though."Malik muttered to himself as he made a mental note on a list of the stuff he would need to continue on if he didn't find anything to change his plans. He walked off,machete in hand,hearing for anything,looking for anything.

"Arlight girls. Time to get in that Uhaul."  He said grabbing his stuff and put his ax in hand.  He ran into the docking bay and threw up the metal door to the back.  He ran in the back and opened the window to the main window when he realized there were 3 walkers in there behind the boxes that never got delivered.  He swung his ax knocking off an arm of one of the walkers but the blade got stuck in its chest.   He reached and grabbed a knife and drove it through the skull of a walker.  He then threw the body out and pulled the knife out driving it through the skull of the other walker.  He threw its body out when the last walker knocked him down.   He used his arm to keep the walker from biting him using it to press on the throat.  He then looked around and saw the chain that made the door close on the back.   He then kicked it repeatedly forcing it to fall quickly.  He then forced the walker on its back just in time for the door to sever its head.  Jack then opened the door and pushed the body out to see the severed head bouncing around still trying to bite him.  He then jumped down crushing it with the heal of his boot as he pulled his ax out of the body of the other walker.  He then began loading and unloading the boxes in the back that were needed.  He found some gas barrels in the back and threw them in the back so they could refuel later.   "HURRY UP ITS CLEAR" Jack yells starting the engine.

Alessa got up from her seat and looked up at the glass as it started cracking.

"I knew something would happen!"She said as she grabbed her back pack. Alessa grabbed Rin and Zion's arms and motioned Hattie to hurry.She only stopped to pick up a frying pan.Alessa stuffed it into  her back pack and continued running towards the Uhaul
