Mercy shielded herself as best she could with Light and her arms. A few small pieces of debris hit her arms bruising and infecting small cuts. A bit piece slammed right below her throwing her off her perch. Summoning Light, Mercy shot to the ground, making a small crater as she landed in a crouch. Breathing heavy, she looked up to see glowing yellow eyes moving in the debris.

"Heartless." she snarled.

Vladii walked through the sandlot of Twilight Town, heading in the direction of the Mansion where she's been drawn too ever since the dreams. She shook her slightly to try getting rid of the forming headache that happened every time she thought of her dreams and what happened before in this town. At times, Vladii saw shadows or ghosts, like a blond-haired boy running across or a brunette boy holding an over-sized key. She pondered over so many questions that it made her head hurt even more. She let out a grunt as she pressed her hands to the sides of her head as bizarre flashes crossed through her mind too fast for her to comprehend. Then..she fainted right next to the moogle shop.

He circled above the scene below him. No way that guy was still there in the mess of things. Yellow eyes turned upward toward Kai before a few screeches tore through the destruction. "No again. The blast with the combination of the Light must of brought them here." The girl was still there. She'd need his help to stand a chance of beating everyone of the things to a pulp.

Heartless Shadows bounded out of the ruin at Mercy. Instinctively, she slapped her hands together, creating a shockwave of light. The light erupted around her and distinagrated the Shadows. Mercy knew better than to relax at this point. Shadow traveled in either larger packs or with larger Heartless. Her instincts were justified by a Neoshadow who dashed through the rubble and jumped at her. She followed her instincts again and raised an arm to fire a bolt of light through the Heartless.

Instead of a shooting out, the light she called extended a couple of feet out from her hand and stayed there a few moments. When the Light disappeared, a strange sword was left in Mercy's hand. Before she could react to this, the Neoshadow, unable to change direction mid flight, impaled on the blade. It faded, leaving Mercy staring at the weapon.

"A...Keybade?" she murmured to herself.

More creatures stirried in the ruins. Pushing back the questions in her mind, Mercy readied her new weapon for another attack.

Maverick heard a voice in his head, but he couldn't tell what the mysterious voice was saying.  Jackal looked at Maverick, "Don't just stand there!  We gotta take this thing down!"  The giant heartless raised his arm, then sent it slamming down, creating a dark vortex which more shadow heartless swarmed out of.  Maverick stood confident telling Jackal, "You take care of the smaller ones, I got the big guy!"  Jackal yelled back, "I hope you know what you're doing!"  Jackal was eliminating the smaller ones, laughing, shouting insults toward them as he did it.  Maverick looked towards the stars and felt a power grow within him, he looked back to the giant heartless, leaped up, and struck several powerful blows to the creature.  He landed on one of the trees which was nearby as his enemy fell to one knee.  He smiled, proud of his work, just as Jackal finished off the rest of the shadows.  Jackal looked to the giant heartless, then to Maverick, he could feel jealousy grow within himself again.  As he did this, a dark aura enveloped the giant heartless, and it rose again, more powerful than before, and struck Maverick by surprise, knocking him to the ground.  Jackal was frozen for a split second, realizing his friend was in danger.  He ran over to Maverick, who was now unconscious.  He shouted at Maverick to wake up, shaking him in a desperate attempt to see Maverick get up.  Jackal began to shake in anger, thinking his friend has fallen as the hands of the creature, he turned to the giant heartless.  His eyes flashed a color of bright yellow as a large dark aura surrounded him, he stood before the giant heartless, overcome with anger.

With a groan, Vladii woke up blinking up at the sun that hurt her eyes. She covered them with her hand until something dark towered over her. Opening her eyes she looked up again to see bright yellow eyes staring down at her with a bizarre black body. With a shriek, she stood up, making her dizzy for a bit as the creature approached her. Until then she only noticed one but there was a group of them,"Neoshadows.." Something whispered in her mind the name of the creatures.  Frightened, Vladii put her hands up to cover her face and wait for them to consume her until a blinding white light flashed before her hands. She looked at her hands to find an over sized key,"Like the boy in my dream.." With a hardened look in her eyes, she fell into a fighting stance that fit into her easily just as they attacked.

Mercy stood her ground as Neoshadows charged out. Lashing out with Light and her newly acquired Keyblade, disintegrating and slicing any heartless that came at her or tried to pass her.

She felt exhilarated as she fought. This was right. The Keyblade felt right in her hand and the Light flowed through her more easily then ever before.

Her heart soared, till a huge black form blasted from the rubble and ran for her. She brought her Keyblade into a block and formed a field of Light ahead of her. The Heartless slammed into her and sent her flying. She landed a couple of yards away and slid. She struggled up and saw a Large Body Heartless push itself off it's belly and regard her.
