What movie would you rather have in KH 2.5?

I'd prefer 3D over Coded, since 3D has the better story(And Coded more or less has no story at all, which would make it harder to make into a movie) and it pretty much explains most of the KH series up to this point, and would make a valuable edition to the Remasters. I know 3D just came out(even though its only been a year) but it'd be easier to make a movie out of 3D than Coded, plus i liked 3D alot more IMO.

 

I'd also LOVE TO GET 3D TROPHIES ON PSN!!!

 

So what do you guys want as a movie in KH 2.5?

Uh...hmm. Can't bring myself to care either way. It's not like they'll be actual "movies", just a bunch of cutscenes put together. Coded was already remade once and doesn't have much story to tell but has a few key moments that'd be easy to work with and 3D I haven't played but I heard the story was a sloppy mess. Ehh, so either.

Neither. I want the game that was hinted at in BBSFM's secret ending but was never made to be a movie instead!  I want to know what it MEEEAAAANS!!!

Hmm, that's tricky. Both games had good gameplay, and I'd want to play both, and not just limit them to a movie format. I suppose the obvious answer is to say re:Coded, just because it's shorter, but then, I think if it could be given another shot in a remastered version, people would be a little kinder to it and see that it's not that bad.

 

I hate to cop out on these questions, but I'd rather see both as full games.

I know, i made the horrible mistake of buying it at gamestop FOR 20 FIRETRUCKING DOLLARS THINKING IT WAS GOOD LIKE MOST OF THE OTHER KH GAMES. I traded it back the next day. I knew i shouldv'e just waited until 358/2 days came around. <_<

3D was ok, it's just that it has explains so many Plot issues and creates more new ones that it gets really confusing if you can't keep up, and some people can't.

 

I understand most of the story very well(The only parts of KH i don't understand is 358/2 days, as its the only KH game i haven't played besides BBS, but i watched a walkthrough for BBS, so i understand that game, i didn't bother to do the same with 358/2 days as i assumed it would come to my local gamestop soon enough, i'm still waiting for it though) so im ok with it.

Its ok, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

 

If i had a say in 2.5's creation, i'd just say Remaster KH2FM, BBSFM, and Remake 3D to play on a PS3. ^_^

 

I'd exclude Coded, as it only really just shows how Mickey finds out Xehanort will return, and how to save the BBS Trio. That's really all its about.

3D does have the better story, but in an HD ReMix, I'd rather have Re:Coded as a movie, simply because I would rather have KH3D be playable rather than Re:Coded.

I actually preferred KH2FM, Dream Drop Distance playable, and Coded scenes, because they're the games between 2 and 3 (2.5), but I suspected that ease (a PSP game is easier to upgrade to a PS system than a DS to a PS system, hence why Days is cutscenes and not playable) would have played a part considering they're trying to get one KH game out a year and it's quicker.  I thought BBS would just be ported by itself since it already was on a PS system.    

 

So between Coded and DDD, I really never thought about it.  DDD would most likely be the most interesting.

Dream Drop Distance, because I think Re:coded is relatively pointless in terms of storyline and it'd make a disappointing movie (not to mention I actually enjoyed the gameplay of Re:coded more than DDD).

As...interesting as the random constant motion and side-scrolling were, no thanks.  Although the Coliseum's RPG style and the infected sector-thing challenges were fun.  Like Days, it has a crap gameplay but good enough story-line (Unlike Days, the story moves at a decent pace and the game-play had to do with it).  Well, the gameplay was good when it wasn't changed out of the blue. <-super mixed feeling about re:Coded

 

It isn't just a rehash of old games, with Maleficent mentioning the digital world as her new goal in 3D and Sora's freaking Heartless being the end-boss.  For us, the finale with data-Namine is just a "previously, on Kingdom Hearts...", but for the story, Mickey would never have known there was a chance for them to be saved, wouldn't have sent the letter, etc if it never happened.

 

Seeing as how it isn't in the credits, I'm gonna bet 3D will stay on handheld until after KHIII and then be ported like CoM.
