next pokemon game suggestions?

Recommended Posts

First off, This is not a thread about what kind of stuff will occur in Pokemon X/Y.

Now I got that out of the way.

Because of the wonderful system we now have called Wi-Fi, I figure I can get another pokemon game. (I only have diamond, I'm so far behind...)

However, due to recent announcements of pokemon, nintendo or the guy who is in charge of pokemon decided to increase the prices of the pokemon games. So I can probably only buy one pokemon game once in a while.

So my question to you guys is, which pokemon game should I get?

Platinum

Heartgold (likely)

Soulsilver

Black (likely)

White

No, I will not buy B/W2 bc they are related via story so I rather start at the first black and white series.

If you prefer some of the older pokemon go with heartgold since you'll get gen 1's an 2's first. Black has more pokemon in total since it's fifth gen. And platinum is platinum pretty much.

It's really up to choice. None of them are necessarily "better" than the other though many have their preferences. If you've never played gold/silver/crystal before though I suggest getting heartgold.

I played Crystal (fun game!) and I think you may be right, if I'm feeling nostalgic, I should buy heartgold.

hmm... Pokemon games simply not better than another, I have a feeling that I'm leaning towards Black.

once I get my pokemon game I will post my friend code online, since I know KH13 loves pokemon.

This.

I'm a bigger fan of B/W, technically, but that's owing to overall coolness factor.  HG/SS are really good.

So I've heard. I'm just happy that DS systems (yes I'm including 3DS) are compatible with wifi so this makes trading so much easier.

However, event legendaries, that's a different story.

If you haven't played any of the Sinnoh games yet, I'd say go for Platinum. It definitely fixes everything wrong with Diamond/Pearl and steps it up with the storyline. But if you have, I'd say skip HGSS and go straight for Black or White (and eventually the sequels afterward). Especially if you've already played through Gen II, or if you don't care about getting Kanto / Johto Pokemon in your games.

How about this: I get Black first, then Black2, and finally HG.

If anyone has the opposite game of what I'm getting, then I'm willing to trade with you to catch all the pokemon.

Cool,I have SoulSilver and I might be able to trade with you once I solve my connection problems
