Kingdom Hearts: Ascension/Destruction RP (Sign-Ups)

In the not-so-distant past, a man named Xehanort caused what is known as the Second Great Keyblade War.  However, this was a war that left no victors, but instead desolated existence, by the means of destroying both the 13 darknesses and the 7 lights involved.  Heartless once more began to swarm the worlds.  And who was to stop them?  The lights were eliminated, albeit Xehanort and his darknesses were as well.  It seemed as if darkness would finally rule, as there was no one to stop them, until the keyblades began to appear again!  A new generation of keyblade wielders was born, however, there was no one to lead or instruct them, and so they traveled the worlds, doing what they felt obligated to do, fight off the heartless. However, there were some among this new generation who, like Xehanort, became fascinated with the darkness.  And so, what is to become of these keyblade wielders, and more importantly, the light that exists throughout all the worlds?

 

So, before I go on to the rules and character sheet, I just wanted to say this is my first attempt an RP, so I apologize if it isn't up to par with others, and I will gladly accept criticism!  And if there's anything that doesn't seem clear, just ask and I'll try to explain it as best as I can.

 

Rules:

 

• No godmodding
• Don't kill/control other people's characters without permission
• I don't mind cursing, but don't over do it. (Same with romance)
• Keep your characters original, don't use any character directly from the KH series, but you are allowed to have flashbacks or "apparitions" involving KH characters, but you have to ask permission first.
• There are no limitations on what worlds you can visit, but don't have your character visit a story-line important world unreasonably early in the RP (such as The Keyblade Graveyard).
• You can create up to 4 characters.
• All characters will be on the side of the Light initially, but you can decide if they will ultimately become a darkness or not.
• The RP starts when your character first gains the ability to wield their keyblade, and then continues with their gradual travel across the worlds.

 

Remember, all created characters have no idea what the current state of affairs is at the start of the RP, but you decide what happens from there.

Bio: Born in Radiant Garden, Mercy lived a quiet, love filled childhood till the Heartless came. Since then, she has worked hard in helping keep them out. Having lost family and friends over the years, she's developed a hard shell over her normally happy and kind personality. Having an innate connection to the Light, she has used it to keep the Heartless at bay. Though still a junior member of the defenders, she intends to do more in ridding the world of Darkness. Lately she has been having dreams of a place full of light and a voice asking her questions. Though she tries to put it aside, she still wonders what they mean.

Appearance: a 5'5 female with soft olive coloured skin. She has long black hair in low ponytails  that reaches halfway down her back and dark grey eyes. she wears a white muffler around her neck, a sleeveless dark green shirt, black ruffled shirk and sneakers. on her upper right arm is an arm band with a small key stitched on it 

Bio: Ryo was born and lived most of her life alone in Twilight Town. Since she was very knowledgeable from reading a lot, she grew up to be a level minded girl and seems to be direct with people without even knowing. She seems to care less about her lonely past and worry about the future. Recently, she pondered across the possibility on other worlds out there besides Twilight Town, but she's curious as to why she started think about that in the first place.

Heartless prayed on him more than others but he continues to fight even after being told that he was to great of thing to be lost to the Dark. Fighting his ways into memory as he tries to figure out why he is so special.

Any other special traits (optional): Advantaced control of Light, Magic, and Healing abilities. Can creates glass-like wings for flight,

Finally got around to posting this:

Name: Maverick James

Age: 22

Appearance: About 6'3, brown eyes, black hair that reaches slightly down past his neck, wears a blue flannel with a plain black shirt underneath, black pants with a brown belt, and black and white shoes.

Bio: Maverick grew up, and has always lived in, in Starlight Town.  Maverick would go out every night and just look at the stars above him, mystified and even transfixed on them.  He always wondered what else was out there, beyond the seemingly infinite night sky.  It wasn't until the heartless attacked him on one of these nights that he discovered his ability to wield the keyblade.  Maverick then fought off the heartless where ever they might have appeared in Starlight Town, and has since waited for the day he would find an answer to it all.  And it turns out that day isn't too far off...

Special Traits: Maverick's abilities are better at night.

Name: Jackal 

Age: 24

Appearance: 6'0, short messy brown hair, green eyes. Wears a black short-sleeve shirt, black wrist bands on both arms, grey pants, and black and yellow colored shoes.

Bio: Jackal grew up in Starlight Town, where he met Maverick when he was 17.  Being an only child, Jackal looked at Maverick as a younger brother, and treated him as such. One night, Jackal went out after Maverick to see where he went to every night.  He hid from a distance and watched as heartless attacked Maverick, and just before he jumped out of hiding to fight them off, Maverick summoned his keyblade and destroyed them.  Jealousy grew within him, as he felt he was being trumped by Maverick.  That is, until he was able to summon his own keyblade, which he kept a secret until he decided to confront Maverick about it, which hasn't yet occurred.

Special Traits: None

Side: Dark
