Death Note Roleplay: Team L vs Team Light

I decided that I should make a Death Note Roleplay. Normally I don't usually do RPs anymore, but I decided to do one with Death Note, considering that the anime/manga/novels/movies are awesome

 

But this is no ordinary Death Note RP where you get to choose if you are a human or a shinigami or whatever. It's L vs Light. You pick your team and if your on Team L, you must arrest all the characters and Kira/Light, but if your on Team Light, you must kill all the members of Kira Investigation Team.

 

I will be controlling both L and Light, helping you guys on both teams.

 

Basically, L is a detective who's name is really L Lawiet. He is head of the Kira Investigation Team, trying to track down Kira, AKA Light. He only eats sweets, never wears socks and is really smart.

 

Light is a high school student that finds the Death Note, a notebook that if you write someone's name in it, they die. He decides to use it to kill every criminal and anything that's evil, and become god of the new world. The orginal ower of the Death Note is a Shinigami (which is a god of death, the ones who have the Death Notes), named Ryuk. People then suddenly call him Kira (Which means Killer in Japanese), and there is opinions of him, people believe he's evil, or people believe he's the savior. L is trying to track Light down, but he doesn't know it's him. Of course he only assumes....

 

So if you're part of L's team, you must track down not only Light, but his fellow helpers who will try to help Light. If you're part of Light's team, then you need to try to kill L and his investigation team.

Rules:

1) There is no betraying of teams, so if you're on Team L, you can't just go to Team Light

2) However, if you're on Team Light, you can PRETEND to be part of the investigations, and try to pick the team off by one. If you're on Team L, you can PRETEND to be a friend of Light, and find out if Light is Kira, and arrest him and his followers

3) Even though you will be posting what team you are on, YOU don't know who is who. You do not know that someone from the other team and then kill/arrest them. It's illogical and unfair. You have to FIND out what their name is, and if you know their on the other team, you may kill/arrest them. But only on Light's/L's (that's me) command.

4) Once the team is killed/captured, we restart it and you guys must switch teams.

5) Have fun ^_^

 

Death Note Rules:

If you are going to be on Team Light, then you will be using the Death Note to kill someone. BUT, if you are going to kill someone, you will need to know the rules! Check here:

Tips:

 

Team L:

- If you are suspicious of another person, follow them, but don't be too suspicious. Hide behind a wall or look the other way if the other person finds you

- Use fake names. If the one of the opposing team befriends you, use a fake names because if you use your real name, and he/she puts your real name in the Death Note, you're dead. Fake names won't get you killed.

- Find evidence to bust them. You can't arrest someone because you think they are on Light's team

 

Team Light:

- If one of the investigators is stalking you, hide and stalk him. Make sure he doesn't follow you to where Light is.

- Pretend to be part of L's Investigation. That way, once they trust you, you can pick them off very quickly >

- Fake names really won't work for you. But if you get Light to give you a Death Note, you can use the Shinigami (which I will control as well) to your advange (i.e. If you drop a piece of paper from the Death Note and someone picks it up, they will see Ryuk and get scared).

This is actually just a test to see if this kind of Death Note RP will work. So don't get upset if you get killed/arrested, because I know most of you RP in mostly other threads

In high school, she stayed home school and accelerated in many things her classmates couldn't even think of. Now, accelerated in criminal law and justice, she soughts to find and capture Kira.

Akito opened up his laptop. The screen lit up in pure white, with an Old English font in the center. "L," he simply said.

Appearence: Black pants, long black dress-like shirt that has the top two buttons unbuttoned, black shoes, long red hair, dark brown eyes, glasses, a very intelligent aura surrounding him, and a silver watch on his right wrist.

Bio: Ever since he was young, no one ever saw him for himself, only his intelligence. He was always the head of the class, was always asked to help with homework and studying for tests. He never had any real friends, all of them used him, but because of his personality, he could never say no to them. He always hated the fact that he can't say no to anyone that asks him for help. He hates people who use others for there advantage. When he heard about Kira, he saw his way of getting back at everyone that has ever used him. He has done everything in his power to find and help Kira with his cause, so that way, he might just get his desires to come true.

 

*Waits with Darius and asks* "What do you think he wanted to talk to us about?"

L said in the fake, mechnical voice, "Akito. It would seem Kira has striked again. I am sorry to bother you, but I believe the man is Light Yagami. I don't have any proof but I know it's him. And I know he's not alone. I believe he has many people under his wing. I want you to arrest them and bring them here. That way it leaves a blow to Yagami...I mean Kira, and a possible arrest. Get some rest, as tommorow will be a big search. Please...tell the others as well"

 

Light called Darius with his walkie talkie. He said, "Hello? Darius, come in."

He said in the wakie talkie, "Are you being followed?"

darius looks around

Light sighed and said, "Must be the Kira Investigation Team. L. Watch out. Just keep walking then. Don't walk back to your house or to my house. Just walk and hide."

"Yes sir," Akito simply replied before shutting his laptop. He stood up and began to walk down the sidewalk to a hotel.

When he reached his hotel room, Akito got out a discardable cell phone. When the phone picked up, he contacted everyone he knew that was part of the Kira investigation team and told them of the plan. After he had done so, he went to bed.

Zach walked into the police building, and got in the elavator. A few seconds later he was walking down the hallway, he opend the door into a briefing room "Is this the Kira case room?" he said as he stuck his head in.

When Akito woke up, he went straight to the shower and then got dressed in a school uniform. L had already enrolled him to the school that Light (possibly Kira) was attending. All Akito had to do was play his part. He left the hotel and headed to his new school.

In the collage, Light sat down in the middle of the row. He opened a notebook and began writing things in.

 

L had camuras installed in the classroom, and saw Light. He sent Akito a text message:

 

Message: Light Yagami is sitting in the middle row of the classroom. Sit either two seats away from him or the row above him. I suggest the row above him.

*Notices he's being followed as well and whispers* "Crap." *Neku knows this area fairly well, and decides to travel around the neighborhood until he is no longer being followed. Pulls out a walkie talkie* "I'm no longer being followed. What did you want to speak about?"

Light heard Neku's voice on the walkie talkie. He stood and raised his hand. "May I go to the lab?" The teacher nodded. He walked out of the classroom and into the hallway. He stood right next to the bathroom, knowing that L probably put camuras in there. "Right now, it isn't the good time to speak. But if you can, after school, disable the camuras in room. Make sure you're unseen so the camuras don't see you. That way I can sneakly write down names. In the mean time, watch the news for any criminals and just write them down."

After checking his message, Akito took L's orders and sat in the row behind Yagami. When Yagami left, Akito stayed put and waited to see if he'll recieve any more instructions.
