Since gamestop posted 1.5 remix for pre-order is the date true?

I searched the game on gamestop and found out that, For the U.S. that we're supposed to get the game December 31,2013. Is this the true date or did they just put that there?

Doubt it's true... Online stores like Gamestop and Amazon usually put the last days of months as placeholders for the actual release date. But you never know.

Well they said that we'll get it in the Fall, around the same time Final Fantasy XIII-3 comes out, so around Sept., Oct. and Nov. for us North Americas, so we'll get it before Christmas. I was really hoping it would come out in the summer but oh well.
