Junko 2,815 Posted March 8, 2013 Happy International Women's Day (even though some people here are probably on March 9 right now in their timezone) And for those who doesn't know, it's the the 8th of March the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. 7 Ivan, Col.Random, waytothexdawnx and 4 others reacted to this
Weiss 8,279 Posted March 8, 2013 This deserves a day honestly. Glad it has one considering all women in the world have done. Happy international women's day! 1 Koko reacted to this
Noobles 301 Posted March 8, 2013 Happy International Women's Day! Ironically, I'm studying for a History Final and I just finished reading about Women Liberation Movements and the Women's Movement in Antinuclear Protest. 1 Koko reacted to this

MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted March 8, 2013 Fool. This holiday is a joke. A holiday celebrating a certain gender is dumb, because gender doesn't matter. I am for equality and this holiday is against it. 1 Dracozombie reacted to this

Koko 3,944 Posted March 8, 2013 Isnt this kinda sexism? No. Just like how Black History Month isn't racism, this isn't sexism. So, uhhh... when is International Men's day? Same as White History Month, all year long because you know we live in a patriarchal society who often looks down upon women. Frick yeah women's day. Fool. This holiday is a joke. A holiday celebrating a certain gender is dumb, because gender doesn't matter. I am for equality and this holiday is against it. No it's not?? Yeah sure gender doesn't matter, but since most of the world has a society where men come out on top, it's good to have a day celebrating the often overlooked achievements of female identifying individuals. 8 TheApprenticeofKingMickey, Kaiso, axele and 5 others reacted to this

Henne 150 Posted March 9, 2013 this will be the worst place for a kitchen joke What better day could there be? Perfect place and day I'm kind of annoyed by this day. "Oh, looook in this book! It's sexist, they only use the male form for everyone, boohoo." it's the neutral form, waah.

Queen Tery 4,591 Posted March 10, 2013 Cool beans~ The only sad part about this day is that we live in a world where women are recognized one day of the year instead of equally throughout the year. But if we're going to live in a world like this at least recognizing them at all is better than nothing 1 Koko reacted to this

Some want female traffic lights... you are obviously missing the point and so thickheaded and drowning in misogyny that i dont even care because i dont even think you know what youre saying (i dont even know where you went from gendered forms, which is a legitimate concern to traffic signals)just cuz you claim to support equality doesnt mean you dont oppress the individuals you supposedly support, even if those include yourself you can say you support this and that but that doesnt mean you actually do, especially when you dont know what youre talking about that is why we still need (intersectional) feminism because of people who don know what theyre talking about when it comes to equality between all gender identities 2 TheApprenticeofKingMickey and Weiss reacted to this
