KH Manga Colour-ins

I randomly decided to colour in one of the Days' manga images because the original looked really (how do I put it?) ...cool.

 

 

I used threshold to remove the lighter pixels to keep the dark lines clean. I then used the magic wand tool with the contiguous option off to colour in each part with the brush tool.

Imagine there wasn't a contiguous option for the magic wand tool... *shivers*

 

I may add more during my 1 week spring break coming up. It'll only come if I'm bored as well.

Edit (Nov 9, 2014): I recoloured many of the images to be more accurate (mostly just the skin). When I first started, I used the same skin colour for each person/Nobody without realizing it, even though most of the characters have a similar colour.

Alright, new one. But this time from CoM - Chapter 12.

This is actually kind of fun to do.

 

Just a question: is it okay to bump old art threads (obviously if they're ancient it's not okay.)? I don't want to end up not posting for a while and then having my thread closed because of an update. So many forums, so many rules...

My usual graphic design teacher isn't here today, so I wasted my time doing another one.

Namine's eyes kind of bothered me, but from afar, they look pretty good.

Alrighty! Sorry for the long hiatus. School got in the way and I also had summer school so that didn't help. I finally had time to do a few more.

I reuploaded the first image of Roxas and Saix because Saix's sclera wasn't coloured.

 

Here's two new ones:

 

 

Riku's expression is so nngh.

 

 

This scene as a whole is pretty freakin' awesome.

 

Again, I plan to do more, but... *coughnoguaranteescough*

I was confused on the bottom left so I left most of it white.

I finally got really bored during the summer and did a few more.

There is a huge lack of images of Xigbar that don't look creepy.

And Vexen is so fabulous. Unlike his CoM version.

Edit: I have no idea where the original Vexen image went, but here it is again.

 

Even if no one replies to this thread, I'll still keep colouring them and adding them to the imgur album. Though not necessarily posting in this thread. Wait...

Nice work! Have you been able to do a whole scene in one of the Mangas? Maybe a Chapter begin page with that concept art looking scene? It's kinda hard to describe, but you probably know what I'm talking about!
