SoraBlade 832 Posted March 5, 2013 Just got it yesterday...Wondering. Is it very long? About how long does it take? Curious...I like the fact you can screw around a lot, and that it's challenging, as well as SORT OF like a Zelda game...Just wanna know. Maybe I want to know your opinions on the game. I HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME YET, so don't mention even slight spoilers!

Weiss 8,279 Posted March 5, 2013 I think for a first run non-100% completion it takes around 40 hours for 100% around 50 or so Once you've played the game enough it's about 20-25 hours though Hope you enjoy^^ It's a wonderful game 1 SoraBlade reacted to this

DG20 67 Posted March 5, 2013 Jak II is a wonderful game. I wasn't able to get 100% completion, but it's good. Jak 3 is even better.
darkchaser 788 Posted March 5, 2013 it really depend on the player. Out of the 3 games Jak 2 had some of the hardest missions in the game. 2 SoraBlade and ReverofE reacted to this
ReverofE 698 Posted March 5, 2013 it really depend on the player. Out of the 3 games Jak 2 had some of the hardest missions in the game. It also had some of the worst respawn locations but Jak 3 improved some of these. 1 SoraBlade reacted to this
Static15 90 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Naughty Dog were complete asswipes when making this game (precursor orbs, mission difficulty, respawn points)...it pissed me off to no end but I did manage to 100% it...despite all the rage quits The Precursor Legacy remains my favorite out of the series... Amon 4,279 Posted March 5, 2013 I liked Jak 2 a lot, but it felt more like Grand Theft Auto...IN THE FUTURE than it's own game. It still has amazing gameplay, but as far as characters and story goes there are better. Seriously the entire game Jak is emo and Dexter is goddamn annoying. Jak 3 is a MUCH better game. It fixed some of the gameplay issues with the second game such as the mentioned crappy respawns and provides an EPIC and I mean MOTHER firetruckING EPIC story-line and great character development. One of the best games I've ever played. There's also so much you can do. Just screwing around with the free roam is entertaining alone.

RoxSox 3,593 Posted March 5, 2013 Be prepared to either: a) save money for a new controller. b) take anger management classes, There are several occasions where you will be cast, however briefly, into the bowels of something you may or may not escape from. The game is ball punchingly hard. It took me 4 playthroughs before I ever actually beat the final boss. The street races, the mission on the docks, turrets in the sewers, and all of the bosses come to mind. But if you're up for having your balls/ovaries punched into your throat, you're in for a hell of a ride. It's one of my favorite games. 1 SoraBlade reacted to this
SoraBlade 832 Posted March 5, 2013 I understand! Missions with the vehicles come to mind...The tank chase and battle...So far I haven`t gotten mad at the game so much I rage quit. It forces me to keep trying!
