Pluto (the dog not the would-be planet)

Recommended Posts

So yeah, I've always wondered about the true unsung hero of Kingdom Hearts.

Pluto.

He's always been one of those now-you-see-me-now-you-don't characters, you know?

He's always been there in those important moments (beginning of KH1, end of KH1, traveling with Kairi through those portals the organization conjured up in KH2), but you don't really see him at any other time.

I wonder what kind of stuff we would see if they made a game solely based on Pluto's travels while Sora, Riku, and the King are off doing their thing. (kind of sarcasm kind of not)

what do you think?

hahaha, he could be just like sora in the Pride Lands with the keyblade in his mouth, lol

nah your right though they probably couldn't make a game, maybe a short film or something

lol

That's actually what I was thinking. I figured it would play like the Pride Lands.

That would make a cool Disney short, though that will never happen.

Pluto is a dwarf planet, like Eris and one other that I don't know off the top of my head. Not a "would-be planet".

It would be a planet if astronomers hadn't decided to make rules to distinguish between planets and dwarf planets :P

We'd have lots of planets without that, though.  Ceres was the one I couldn't remember, but there are Haumea and Makemake as well.  Haumea, Makemake, Eris, and Pluto are classified as Trans-Neptunian Objects, whereas Ceres is in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.  2006 would have confused so many elementary schoolers if Ceres was classified as the fifth planet, which was considered as an option as opposed to declassifying Pluto.
