So glad they're bothering this time around, and localising for Italian etc. Doesn't affect me 'cause I'm English anyway, but it's good that those guys aren't being shunned for this game. Honestly I'm happy with the general time frame we've got, at least it's still this year (and my patience has been all but spent waiting for AC:NL the past three years, which is coming out in June...). I bought a PS3 a long time ago, expecting it to support a sequel for KHII, was dissapointed when Dream Drop Distance came out for 3DS only but this makes it all good again! Tails 6,692 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) You also have to remember that all 4 of those games you mentioned are for Wii U. KH HD 1.5 is for PS3. Wii U has only sold a few million units in NA, while PS3 has 50-70 million. (I don't know the actual numbers) That being said, those games will definitely boost the sales of the Wii U, but Im not too worried that they will overshadow KH HD. I dont have a Wii U and probably wont get one for another year or 2. But I do have a PS3, so I will be getting KH. And as far as the PS4 goes, again you must remember that the early adopter rate of a new system is pretty low. Look back to PS3 and Xbox 360. They had very slow starts, while the Wii was fortunate to be sold out everywhere for like a year or more. Why do you think release games are starting to be available on both the previous gen system and the new one. Ex. Zelda twilight princess. Came out for Wii and Gamecube almost the same time, right at the release of Wii. Now jump ahead to PS3 to PS4 transition: Watch dogs will be on PS3 and PS4. Diablo 3 will be on both. Destiny will be on both. I just wouldnt worry about KH being overshadowed. There have been nearly 100 million PS3's sold in the world. I think KH will be fine. But you have to keep in mind that all those ip's I listed are very popular ones that sales a crap ton of copies. Especially Mario and Zelda. SO i can see it selling more units that KH HD and overshadowing it since a lot more people are excited for those games despite them being on the Wii U. Just because the Wii U sold a few million units doesn't mean the ip's won't be as successful. It takes time for a gaming company to build a good game library for their console. Now as for the PS4, I have to agree on what you said but from all the hype that it has gotten from Sony's conference I can imaghine it it selling a crap ton of units and being sold out everywhere in stores and the stores having shortages on PS4's (which is one of the main reasons why I'm not going to get it at launch). Also, the only reason why Wii sold more than PS3 was because that the PS3 was over $600.00 while the Wii was $250.00 when they came out.Also sorry for the late reply. I had to go to class when you had replied to my post. They might even be re:dubbing KH1 with the newer Sora voice. Yeah, that's what i was starting to think shortly after I made my post. But I honestly don't think it's necessary to do so because then it wouldn't feel nostagic to some veteran KH fans (though it will feel completely new to any newcomers of the series). But I can see why they would re-dub the English version. I love how though people complained that it was basically just japan announced, and now it's come out that it's international i'm just seeing comments "omg so where's KH3 now gimme gimme gimme tantrum" "put it on the PS2". Whut. Leave. Most likely it's being released in october to encourage people and parents buying it as a Xmas present, even if the kids don't ask for it if you look for surprises for them and see 3 games, which at 39.99 euros is cheap, you get it for the value of it. jtshiro 14 Posted February 25, 2013 I don't buy the idea that this is gonna take longer than DDD to localize, no matter if they re-record KH1, the script is already done for KH1 and Re:COM (sans a couple scenes in for Final Mix), dubbing has been worked on as far as we know for about a month.
