Final Fantasy versus 13 coming= kh3 in full development

Since the new Playstation 4 release, Final Fantasy brand director Shinji Hashimoto said that we should be looking foward to a big title, at E3.(NOT confirming it is versus 13) Does this mean that ff versus 13 is finally coming? Now if it is it is... this is huge because with this horrid game out of the way the Square  Enix team can put it's full effort towards Kingdom Hearts 3. What are your thoughts on the big new title and if you agree with me?

well kh3 will still have to wait untlil 2015 or 2016 but it'd be cool to finally see them talk about versus.

it has to be versus. dont think square is crazy enough to make another new ff game for ps4, just doesnt make sense and they have their hands full.

Anyway KH3 wont came out until at least 2016

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is going to be a fantastic game. Don't go and disrespect it. The better Versus XIII is, the better Kingdom Hearts III will be.

As much as I wish they said something about Versus, it's not the case I believe. He said "Please look forward to a NEW Final Fantasy title", which might be Final Fantasy XV and not Versus XIII. After all he did say "new" not "previously announced" or something like that.

Um yes they would? 

Before the PS3 was released they announced FFXIII with a trailer that brought so much hype, and then 3 years later they released the game.

 

I'm sure they are going to do the same for the PS4, announce a brand new game and then release it 1 - 3 years after they release the console.

Wasn't FFXV (formerly known as Agni's Philosophy) announced for the PS4 at an event yesterday? I'm not sure if that's true, but I heard that rumor somewhere.

 

And they did do that with FFXIII, but Square's gotten a bit better at not announcing things too early lately. I would hope they wouldn't make another blunder like the Versus one, when Versus isn't even out yet, and they have other games lined up first. And didn't some Square-Enix executive say this was going to be a Versus year? My hope and money is on Versus XIII. Don't f up again, Square. I'm losing my faith in you.

 

And I am going to hope that they've at least begun something on KHIII. I know in an interview long ago, Nomura said that they wouldn't work on it until the Versus team (the old, main KH team) had the chance to, but that was a long time ago and I have to believe circumstances have changed. Square would have to want to slit their own throats if they haven't started even early stage things. I mean, as Nomura said, the Osaka team pretty much is the KH team now, and Square's said they want to get games released faster, so... Hopefully KHIII will be released in Japan in 2015, and Versus this year, maybe? (Being hopeful...)

I wish it was FFXV, but it's a tech demo. Many companies show off tech demos just to show the audience how it will look in that engine, it's not an official game at all.

It's a shame because "Agni's Philosophy" looks fantastic and the music at the end of that trailer was just

 

They probably just going to do it for the hype, after all many of their trailers/teasers so far are really hyped. 

 

They either make "Agni's Philosophy" FFXV, an amazing FFXV game (also amazing trailer), or just VERSUS XIII.

I do hope Versus XIII appears.

I say that KHIII will be released in 2015 because Square said they would release a new title every year up until KHIII. This year is 1.5, 2014 is 2.5 remake. After that there are no other games unless I am missing something.

We will have a definitive answer at E3 what the title is for final fantasy.

I hope so, either way I think they're going to release another HD remake collection. Preferably with KH2,BBS, and KH3D cutscenes. So I'd say KH3 would be released anywhere from early 2015 - 2016. But even if they announce KH3 soon, that'd be beautiful. Only thing that sucks is that it's pretty much confirmed that KH3 will be on the PS4. So I might not be playing it. ._.

They have already announced FFVXIII during E3 in 2006 isn't it? If so then it can't be this game and it has to be a different FF game which I think will be totally new game relating to the demo they showed of Agni's Philosophy.

I think the dude meant a new FF title, so most likely FFXV.

 

If they really were inferring Versus, then don't you think Nomura would have shown his face instead?
