Just cause the PS4 will be out by next year doesn't mean the PS3 will just spontaneously combust. They were still making PS2 games well into 2010, four years after the PS3 came out. Nomura wants it on current generation hardware, PS4 will become the current generation hardware and if the mysterious Final Fantasy for the PS4 turns out to be FFVS13, then KH3 will definitely be on the PS4. This. If they are willing to toss Versus as a PS4 game, why wouldn't you think they wouldn't do the same thing to a game that won't even be out in 3 years?
