advfox 698 Posted February 20, 2013 If eyes even have limitations, what framerate do you think they see at? I think somewhere around 1000fps.
Alagoth 46 Posted February 20, 2013 They see at around 25-30 frame rate. Lol
Sora'sMum 352 Posted February 20, 2013 I think it's somewhere around 3x10^8 fps (faps per second). There's a lot of friction.

Lol After doing some research, some sources say the framerate visible by the eye is limited to 25fps, some say 60fps, and even over 200fps! I think for now this is a mystery that has not been fully understood yet.
Hei 3,233 Posted February 20, 2013 What I read was: The human eye can process 20fps, and can go as high as 60fps when in panic.
advfox 698 Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) What I read was: The human eye can process 20fps, and can go as high as 60fps when in panic. So the brain is in panic when playing high fps video games? D; Edited February 20, 2013 by ProwerPower
Hei 3,233 Posted February 20, 2013 So the brain is in panic when playing high fps video games? D; Yeah, I am confused. All these people saying we see about 20-30fps, but there are games that are 60fps
Weiss 8,279 Posted February 20, 2013 I think it may depend on the eye but I read somewhere it was like 100 fps
Hardrada 117 Posted February 20, 2013 I believe the average frame rate of movies is 24 fps and it's obvious that they move more slowly that we actually see.
Amon 4,279 Posted February 21, 2013 I'm pretty sure it's no more than 60fps. Which makes any FPS higher than that rather redundant.
