Nomura said that the next game will end the Xehanort saga, but how long will the next saga be? As long as this one? Or the one after that or the one after that? Will this series keep going so that in 80 years our grandchildren will be just like us waiting for Kingdom Hearts 63? AntonioKHT 449 Posted February 18, 2013 It depends. If Nomura doesn't want to keep going, or if KH3 doesn't live up to expectations, he can always not make more. I think this whole Saga thing was just so he could still continue if he decided afterward to resume the series, doesn't mean he has to. Ruran 481 Posted February 18, 2013 It'll probably end eventually, it's not the type of story that can go on for virtually infinity like FF can. I don't know how much longer it can go on but I kinda hope that the next saga is the final. Going past this one already feels like pushing it imo. Although I don't think it'll be quite as long or take as much time. The only reason the Xehanort Saga is as long as it is is because of various issues the series had over the years, some of which shouldn't carry over if handled better. One with Luxord's somebody being the main villain, and another with Marluxia's somebody being the main villain. Af for possible storyline to happen after all of Organization 13's somebodies are covered, it's anyone's guess. If they're desperate for storyline afterwards, I guess after Kingdom Hearts 5 they could have Rufus Shinra of Shinra Corp (FF7) team up with Gandrake of Gandrake Enterprises (Samurai Legend Musashi) to form a business merger in an effort to take over the universe.
