Help with a few decisions? Kh related

I really want to do a cosplay, but I'm not sure which one to pick and whether or not I want to spend a ton of money on a costume or make my own. Should I dye my hair or buy a wig? Here are my questions.

 

1. Who should my first cosplay be?

   a. Namine

   b. Kairi

   c. Xion

   d. Aqua

   e. Other (please specify))

 

2. Should I....

  a. Make my own costume (don't know how really...)

  b. Buy a costume. 

  c. Other (please specify)

 

3. Should I....

 a. Dye my hair.

 b. Buy a wig

 c. Other (please specify)

 

Also, tips on how to make a costume, where to find cheap cosplay stuff, and other information would be really helpful! Thanks!

For 1 it depends on who you look most like I think.

2. a or b whichever is more onvenient.

Depending on whether or not you want to dye your hair will influence who you should cosplay as.  If you want to dye your hair cosplay as whoever's closest to your own natural colour.  I personally would dye my hair, I can't stand wigs.

But if your hairs black like mine the cost of bleaching, toner and your final colour along with treatment creams probably outweighs the cost of a wig, in that case go for a wig.

 

Cosplay as whoever you like more or think you are more physically resembling off.  

 

With Namine it's easy to make your own costumer, you just need blue sandals with a white dress that has a frill near the breast and skirt.  The other's pretty much would need bought proper costumes to look authentic and not tacky.

Well, you should pick at least who you want to cosplay I barely know you, so i can't give any help with that...

If you really want to make you costume, you can learn how to in the internet. If you don't have time/ don't feel like it, then you should buy one. You have to think about how much each would cost, and see what's more worth it. So it depends.

You shoudl if it's worth dying your hair, if you want it, and can stay with it for some time, I mean, it's usually not something that lasts one day. Wigs in my opinion wouldn't be as good as painting with the right color, so I'd say dye it. But again, it's really up to how much you want to do this, and how perfectly you want it. And how much it costs.

2 buy one if you dont know how to make one

3 buy a wing if you somehow wanted a characters cosplay with color hair (lets say pink)

it wouldnt look good on a normal person so yeah thats my reason

1.i think either namine or xion, you should take the one that takes less effort overall so you can focus on the details.

2.B, If unavailable C.Combination of the 2. just buy a clothing piece that looks similar and adjust as needed.

3.depends which color,some take day's to do well,while others are much simpler. if the first then B,otherwise a.

2. Since you don't know how, you probably should buy one.

3. If you dye your hair it would look better. But if you don't want to deal with the hair color for a while, you should buy a wig.

Thanks for your help! Maybe I should upload a few pics to see who I look most like. I don't really think I look like anyone. My hair is brown blond, and I think cosplaying as anyone would be fun. I'm going to do them all. I just don't know who to do first. Hmmm...

You'd make a great Aerith.  Your shape of face and hair color reminds me of her.  But hmm, I guess she's not really a KH character, is she?  I've never cosplayed before, but here's what I would do if I were you and wanting to.  (Well, heck, I'd want to cosplay, but don't really have the time or means to do so.)

 

1. I'd do either Aerith as I mentioned, or perhaps Aqua.  Your features don't remind me of Namine, Xion, or Kairi.  But Aqua's got that longer, more mature face that I think you could pull of pretty well.

 

2. Buy the costume.  It takes forever to perfect sewing skills enough to make clothes or costumes worth wearing in public (I speak from experience, haha!)

 

3.  Get a wig.  I mean, the dyed hair does look more realistic, but if you go with Aqua that means you'd have to cut your hair as well as dye it an unnatural color.  Overall I'd do the wig; it'll be a lot easier and hassle-free.

Oh thanks! I do know who Aerith is, as I've played a few FF games as well. She'd be fun to cosplay as too! I like how softspoken she is. Plus, I have the hair color already. So that's easy!

2. a. buy the costume. It's fun that way.

3. b. You have pretty hair, you shouldn't ruin it for a one or two time cosplay.
