KH3D what was the most hardest thing to understand in DDD story line

Recommended Posts

@ Title, Nomura's logic

Why didn't Kairi do anything?

That's what I want to know.

Kairi's supposed to be the damsel in distress..well at least up until kh3 where hopefully she does something productive

What I'm asking is, why couldn't she be productive in 3D? Seriously. Was it such a big deal to not include her? Did it really take 3 generations of Xehanort for Yen Sid to realize that she might be the SLIGHTEST bit useful?

Well, there are little plot details overall, and brought some questions from other games, but nothing really important I guess.

For instance, Young Master Xehanort didn't follow those rules of Time Trave as he should have. But even though that's not as clear for me, there are other explanations, and it could be explained in other games.

The hardest thing for me to understand was... WHY DOES YOUNG XEHANORT LOOK LIKE TERRA EXCEPT ALBINO?!

(There are advantages to having an advanced understanding of quantum mechanics. Like understanding time travel!)

I think Master Xehanort already looked like Terranort i his youth, you know, silver hair but with a darker skin color

How they have to revive the nobodies that died. I mean come on is that really necessary? That kills the whole point of death in the series. I say let them be, they did their part. I'm going to be upset if Roxas and Ventus stand side to side among each other because that literally defines redundant.

For many people I would suspect the time travel element just confused them no endI though choose not to overthink it.

This. YX started listing the rules and my brain just shut off. Good thing I have time lords here to explain stuff.

I though choose not to overthink it.

I agree also the new plot retcons a lot of stuff that had previously been canon.

Nomura used lazy plot devices

Player was confused

Player hurt itself in confusion

Player fainted.

Haha, I didn't want to believe there were retcons but if that change the speech to the current version thing in 1.5 is true then I guess there must be.

The focus of KH3D is Sora and Riku's MoM exam. Kairi didn't have enough experience with the Keyblade to take it. If someone says "But Lea..."may I remind you that Lea wasn't taking the test. He just showed up to save Sora's butt. (literally, a room full of peadobear clones and a 14 year old boy?)  Also if you look at the secret ending it seems Yen Sid didn't know Kairi could use the Keyblade or even defend herself. All he knew was that "someone" else out there could wield a Keyblade, not who it was, whereas, even without the Keyblade, Yen Sid knew Lea could at least hold his own in a fight, being a former member of Organization XIII. He's not omnipotent like MX apparently is.

Well nobody really dies in KH, so since there's no death in the series there's no point to it.

Why Riku had cut his hair.

In Japan, drastically changing you're hairstyle after a long period of time represents changing the person you were. Riku is obviously trying to distance himself from the boy that repeatedly attempted to kill his best friend.

Am I the only one who wasn't confused by anything in this game?

Indeed. But come on, she could have done SOMETHING. And why didn't Sora, Riku, Mickey, Donald, or Goofy tell Yen Sid that Kairi could use the Keyblade? Doesn't that seem the slightest bit worthy of a conversation?

Sora was more concerned about Riku doubting himself. Riku was more concerned about weather or not he was worthy to even wield a Keyblade, let alone be a Master. Mickey was more concerned about MX's impending return. Donald and Goofy were more concerned about not being able to accompany Sora on his test. It just slipped their minds. Probably. Who knows, after all was said and done, maybe it was Mickey who was the one to tell Yen Sid "There is another." It would be fitting, seeing as how Micky is the Yoda of the KH Universe and Yen Sid is the Obi Wan.
