Games more dangerous than guns, say US senator

Recommended Posts

Wow... That's taking things a little too far. At this rate, games will be banned in America within the next year or so. Guns are weapons. Games are just a form of entertainment, and not all games involve violent acts. I swear, next they'll say games cause cancer- oh wait, they already did. I don't get why no one blames movies or TV shows for violence. I know that games are more interactive, but movies can get quite violent too. It annoys me that people blame video games for all of the problems in life...

I was about to post something along the lines of this. Well said, couldn't have put it better myself.

They're right, guys. By using a keyblade in Kingdom Hearts I have been taught to slash a key around and murder people with violence. I learned absolutely nothing about friendship, happiness, and good ways from Kingdom Hearts or any other game series, which are TOTALLY %100 proven to be the source of the criminal's corruptions.

Stupid old people of america...

If games are banned in America, I'm moving to Japan. Where video games run wild everywhere.

Anyone want to join me?

I want to join so much that I think I'll get on the airplane before you do LOL

If you got rid of videogames, people still have the guns to murder entire families with.

If you got rid of guns, what are they gonna do, throw a PS3 at an old woman?

I think the problem here is obvious...

Seriously, they need to stop blaming the games. They can't and don't do anything to cause violence to that degree.

Can I come. I would seriously go if video games get banned here. On topic, I think it's stupid that they're still blaming video games for violence. I mean come on, seriously. Having a game in your house is gonna be more dangerous than having a gun. It's not even that dangerous to have a gun to protect you either.

And China (maybe) will allow them in the near future. Oh, the irony!

But it seems that, no matter in which country you live, the "old" people say "oh, there was a massaker! Must be video games' fault! And in no way something else like... I don't know... hm, a shitty life? Naaah! Definitely video games!"
