Post one thing you hate

Recommended Posts

People who hold a motherfiretrucking grudge over one little thing and they suddenly hate you, sass you, everything they say directed towards you is in a sarcastic tone and overall give you their bullshit.

I swer to christ im going to explode on this firetrucking immature prick one of these days.

LET IT GO. Dont hold grudges ESPECIALLY over a tiny thing.

it also sucks when you happen to share some of their friends so its like "oh i could be a bitch to this person, losing 20 firetruckin friends in the process."

honestly move the firetruck on.

...this thread is more of a venting area for me haha.

People who are lazy and don't even try and they get amazing grades in school and everything goes the way they want it to -_-

Sorry, the truth is I am upset that happens to me. Though I guess one could argue I actually try, but procrastinate to the max.  It makes me feel like life isn't fair, it hurts to see something like this happen...that person claimed they spent all of yesterday studying for the test and only got around 70 and I spent maybe 30 minutes studying and got 90+. T_T I would like to think that hard work gets rewarded in all cases, but...

^id reply to the compliment but ths is too slow

Eh, I hate how grades "decide" shit anyways. sure someone may get amazing grades but that doesnt gaurantee youll get a job. same with people with poor grades, even if you do shit, laets say youve had a lot of experience, you still have a chance. it also doesnt necessarily define a person - if someones telling me that a letter on a sheet of tree-wasting paper says more about me than a friggin autobiography then they are SO wrong. whether the letter is a high rank or a low rank, you should not be judged by whatever you get

(btw im not talking about any of yall just speakin from personal experience lol ths isnt directed towards any of you)

also i hknow im at that ageand stuff, but i hate hen people keep asking me about what I want to do for college...because I am not one of those kids who knows unlike the better kids that do. im sorry, but i just dont know. i know people dont mean any harm when they ask and theyre only trying to start upa conversation with me so its not like i have anything AGAINST it wen people ask, but i serously do not know. sure i have a vague idea but im an easygoing person, i dont know exactly.

I would suggest if you don't figure out what you want to study in college by the time you plan to start it (if you feel like you will end up going to college as soon as you get out of highschool) take the general education courses that most majors have to take. Which generally includes some college level English, Math, Humanities, Social Science, and Science courses. By taking those type of courses not only will you get some of your requirements out of the way, you will get a smattering of what studying for each field is like. And yes in the business world they care a lot about experience, but they also care about if they are going to have to spend money to train you or not. That's where a degree is supposed to help, so they know that you at least understand how things work. But of course they will usually choose someone with the know how AND experience over someone with just the know how.Grades in theory are to determine if you are learned the material or not. I will not praise nor condemn the system we use, but I shall say what GPA actually does. It says how close you were to failing your classes, and this determines what colleges/universities will actually accept you. Because no one wants someone who is just getting through by the skin of their teeth, when there are others that are doing better. And students can be rewarded with getting good grades by getting into honor societies that do things to help make one more marketable to both businesses and scholarships. But yes experience is still very important if one want to get a job. And assuming one goes to a university, chances are that person is going to NEED a job...

Also about the sheet of paper saying more than an autobiography, assuming you are talking about job applications... What you write there is to tell pertinent information about fitting you are for the job and the workplace, not for them to learn your life story. They don't care about people's life stories or how good you are, they care about if you are going to be profitable.

And something I hate, I hate when people assume you can read their minds.
