Laurel looked up to see one of the campers. She managed a small smile. "It's ok, I'm not that great at making friends, either. " she added with a small laugh, remembering how she always was the quiet one, having maybe two or three real friends. "I'm Laurel."

The girl was similar to Laurel, in having a small frame, light colored eyes, and long hair. But she had brown instead of blonde, and it was loose unlike her's, which was done in a braid, and of course the ends of Laurel's hair were tinted a barely noticable green. The girl was dressed casually, and holding a book bag and a guitar case. This caught her eye. "You play guitar?"

"I'm Katelyn, and yeah music is all I pretty much have since my family isn't really there,Do you play also?"Katelyn asked Laurel.

She decided to sit in the grass also,"Well my parent's are alive..but they fight a lot and i usually just play my guitar and sing outside until i'm positive their done."She explained.

Katelyn smiled, which shocked her..it had been awhile since she had last smiled.

Judy noticed two of the girls talking, guitar girl and green tips. Seeing as emo boy there was already kind of boring her, she decided she might as well intrude into their conversation. She sauntered over there as Jude rambled a bit about death and such to the other dude and if she wore jeans, she probably would've had her hands in her pockets.

Once she was in front of the two, she planted her hands on her hips and with a slight smile she cut into their riveting dialogue.

"Hope I'm not interrupting any juicy gossip, but I thought I'd come over here and ask - no DEMAND - that you guys come hang out with me, my bud and that other guy over there. We're gonna be here for a while, might as well get acquainted, party hard and try to have a bit of fun. My name is Judy by the way." She turns towards green tips. "Nice hair you got there. I was blonde for a while, but I thought red was louder and more me you know. The green tips are a nice touch, very nice."

Lucas wandered up to the group of what he presumed to be other campers, but was stopped by the friendliest woman he had ever met. This thoroughly frightened Lucas..he hadn't met anyone with such a creepy, and overly happy personality. He guessed this person was a Director of sorts, and simply said his name, before walking over to the other 'campers'.

He looked at them, unamused by those assembled. He sighed, seeing as there was no other choice but to at least try and make some friends.

But Lucas wasn't good at that. Sadly, his social skills were rather undeveloped. So he stuck to merely hanging out at the edge of the group, hoping not to be seen by any one person. So much for the 'sunny' aspect of this place. Beyond that lady, no one here seems to be all too happy. Lucas thought glumly.

"I sing a little, I suppose. I could never write my own, I could never remember the tune." Laurel had just finished when a another camper walked over and introduced herself as Judy, then 'polietly' asked if the two of them would care to join their conversation. At least she complimented Laurel's hair. "Thanks. Uh, sure." She hoisted herself to her feet, and yet again gathered her bags. At least they weren't heavy. "You coming?" She asked Katelyn.

Katelyn nodded and got to her feet. She slung her bag over her shoulders and picked up her guitar.

"I'm Katelyn nice to meet you."

She turned to Laurel to reply to what she had said earlier,"It's cool you sing,I write a lot of my own songs but there just to get rid of stress."

Katelyn looked up at the other girl, she appeared very friendly and it was nice of her to invite Laurel and her to hang out.

(Sorry I haven't posted lately,school.)

Luna-Sol rested on a tree stump as she had her sunglasses on. The camp seemed pretty dead besides the campers. There were so many campers all around with so many different personalities and styles. "(This is wonderful. Never expected so many campers!~)"Luna-Sol says. She then searched through the pockets of her jeans when she remembered, she didn't had any technology,it wasn't allowed. "Oh phooe."Luna-Sol says as she looked up and stared at the clear sky. She wasn't a very good camping person, but this would prove to her parents that she can take care of herself without their care 24/7. "I wish I could of atleast brought a fan. It's hot."Luna-Sol says as she waved her hand to her face. Then she felt something crawl onto her hand. The hair on the back of her head stood up as she knew that being around a forest area it wouldn't be something good. Or atleast not something cute. She turned to look at her hand to see a spider just crawling on her hand. She went pale and let out a high pitched scream that could only belong to a happy-go-lucker like her before darting off the stump and waving her arm around. "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!!"Luna-Sol screached. So far her responsible adventure wasn't going as she planned. Especially with the spider crawling up her hair twice as scared of her than she of it.

Spider:

Jude jumped when he heard the scream. He looked around for the source of the noise, eyes wide like a deer in headlights. Then within a few seconds his face deflated. It was just one of the campers freaking out. About a spider of all things. Yeesh, I thought we got over the fear of spiders when we were thirteen, Jude thought as he stood up.

"Gimme a minute," he said to the boy that Judy brought over (who she apparently ditched for a couple of other girls over yonder). He walked over to the girl, regretting each second of it. It took a bit before he could actually catch her. In all honesty he wasn't trying too hard; he didn't really want to help her, he just wanted her to shut up.

"Hold still for just a freaking minute," Jude yelled at the girl over her screams as he grabbed her shoulders. Ugh, human contact make it stop, he thought as he picked the spider out of her hair.  He walked over to some of the trees, and let the spider go. Walking back he tried to talk some sense into the camper.

"Look, we're at a camp, if there were any dangerous, or poisonous, animals, I'm sure there'd be some sort of warning. However judging by the experience so far, we might as well be lathered in barbecue sauce and fed to starving wolves," Jude sighed out of aggravation, he was trying his best to comfort the poor girl, but really it was all coming out as if she burdened him because of her outburst "But really if you're going to run around and yell because of a spider of all things (which this place is most likely filled with, it's a firetrucking forest), then you need to try and understand that they won't do much harm."

Luna-Sol stared, she still had goosebumps because of the spuder. It's 8 hairy legs and its 12 eyes just blinking at her and crawling on her skin, even the thought made her freak the hell out. However,a side of her felt ashamed,or embaressed more specifically. What the boy said made sense, but she could not help herself. She had been raised to be bubblely and cute. However, she signed up to be able to show that she can take care of herself...so far she wasn't doing a convincing job. She shook her head and took off her sunglasses, her green eyes still trying to get used to how bright the day was. She sighed a bit. "Right,sorry..."Luna-Sol says as she played with her hair curls. She looked up. "But,thank you for helping me out with the spider."Luna-Sol says. Atleast she would be able to speak to one of the campers, maybe she would now be inspired to talk to others. "(Well, might as well try to make friends right? After my freakout back there and all. Hehe...)" She stared and offered her hand. "Um. I'm Luna-Sol. Nice to meet you."

"Just try not to scream like that again unless you really are in trouble, I was already going deaf as it is from how quiet this place is," Jude replied as he shook the smaller girl's hand, "I'm Jude Walker." He folded his arms across his chest and looked down at Luna-Sol, who could easily be a foot and a half shorter than him. Shorter than Judy, he thought, a feat all on its own.

Jude looked around for the camp counselors. Just how long did they expect us to stand around? Honestly he just wants to see which bunk he's assigned to so he can waste his days away sleeping. The thought of hiking home crossed his mind once again. He mentally slapped himself and brushed his bangs out of his face. No matter how boring it was now, he had to get through it. His parents wouldn't hold him in high regards if he backed out now. Plus Judy has Mary Jane to party with. He needs to party with Mary Jane, it's been too long.

"So did you actually come here on your free will? Or were you forced to spend your summer here?" Jude asked as he turned his attention back to Luna-Sol. "Judging by most of the people here, I'm assuming this place wasn't on the top of our summer 'To Do' list. It sure as hell wasn't on mine."

Luna-Sol noded and got a hand on her hip as he held her sunglasses with the other hand. "Yes,I came on my own will. I heard about the camp in an ad that came in the mail, and I thought that it'd be a good idea to join. That it might be fun."Luna-Sol says. She then glanced around the camp again. Dead trees. Dusty cabins. No fun camp activities around so far. It as very different ofwhat se pictured in her head. "Then again,I never really expected for this place to look so dead. The ad it seemed more than what it is. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't actual fish in the lake."Luna-Sol says as she looked back at the stump where the spider had crawled on her hand. She shook a bit and looked upfront. "You said it wasn't your idea to come here. So,I'm imagening that you were forced into joining the camp?"Luna-Sol asked as she tilted her head to the side as she was used to doing without notecing.

Torrin looked down at his shoes, then up at the sky, sighing. He resigned himself to leaning against the wall of the nearest cabin, just keeping out of the way. He had never been a people person, and right now, just being left alone as theose two ran around meeti g people was fine with him. At least the lake was nice. Not so much this crappy camp."Note to self...never go to this camp ever again." He said softly to himself, wishi g he could just plug into his music. But stupid tech rules. He needed to read the fine print better.

(Think Pink wants me to full in for her sometimes when she's busy with school, so I'll be playing the camp counselors and Ariella occasionally. Alright lets give this a try)

Johnny the camp counselor ran his hands through his ebony hair as he watched all the new campers socializing.

(Another wonderful set of campers) He thought to himself. (It will be interesting to see how this turns out...)

Johnny put on his Sunnybrook labeled tan hat on, sighed, then quickly approached a high platform. Stepping on to it, he cuffed his hands to his mouth, forming a megaphone.

"Attention all campers!!!" He bellowed in his baritone voice. "If I could have you all gather around the platform I'm standing on, there are chairs for you all to sit and listen." Johnny wore a subtle smile, and beckoned to the campers. "Come on, don't be shy."

Though this camp seemed to disappoint her the more Ariella was in it, she thought it wise to make the best of it.

"I'm going to be stuck here for a while," Ariella muttered under her breath. "So I might as well pretend this wasn't the worst mistake of my life."When she heard Johnny's call, Ariella walked towards Luna-Sol and Jude on her way to the meeting."You heard the man, Wussy Sally," She sighed referring to Luna-Sol. "The bozo wants to finally talk to us about how much unbearable fun we're gonna have. You too, dude." She retorted to Jude flipping her blonde curly hair towards him and continuing towards the platform.

Luna-Sol then turned from Jude to Arellia as she had called Luna-Sol 'Wussy Sally'. Luna-Sol's eyes sharpened. "(Why I oughta!)"Luna-Sol thought when she snapped out of it and looked away embaressed as she crossed her arms. "(Fantastic, just the first day and I have made a fool of myself. Heavens knows how the rest of my days in here will be. Especially as I don't think anyone would forget this one.)"Luna-Sol thought as she looked away, trying not to be mad. Mostly embaressed out of everything else. Being mad made her feel exhausted extremely easily, which was why she tired her best to not get angry. Luna-Sol looked upfront and got her sunglasses over her eyes once more. "Well..."Luna-Sol says as he looked up to Jude. She played with one of her curls. "We might as well get going right? Maybe something interesting will happen, despite the camp's appearance."Luna-Sol says as she walked over to the plataform.

((Sorry for late response been going through a lot today))

Katelyn looked over as the camp counselor shouted for them. She picked up her guitar case and turned to face Laurel,"Wanna head over?"She asked.

As she waited for Laurel to respond Katelyn thought about what fun the counselor happened to have planned for them. She sighed,Well as long as I have time to play my guitar and sing this summer should fly by....then of course I have to go back home..

Katelyn frowned at the thought of having to be around her parents in a few months...It sounded like she didn't care about them, but if anyone had went through what she had they would have felt the same way..

Torrin detached himself from the wall, hoisting his bag over his shoulder. Stepping around some mud, he sighed. He should have picked a different camp. Stupid pick the first one idea. Next time, he'd ask Teresa to go camping with him instead. That would be a hell of a lot more fun. Mainly because Teresa was an outdoors person whereas he was indoors.

"Let's see what this guy has to say." Torrin said quietly.

"Yeah, if he's trying to get everyone's attention, it must be remotely important." Laurel replied. As she walked over to the chairs, she spotted the girl who had screamed about the spider earlier. She felt for her; everyone was probably going to give her a hard time about screaming about a spider in a forest, but in all honesty, Laurel was afraid of any creepy-crawly thing, too. "Hey," she walked up to her. "I've would've screamed, too." She admitted with a half-smile. "I'm Laurel."

Before Judy had anymore time to run around, socialize and weed out the week, another camp counselor on the platform called for everyone to gather around. She groaned. She had only met a few of the other campers and she didn't even get their names. Not that she really cared about their names, she quite liked the nicknames she came up with in her head.

She headed towards the platform, seeing the ugly rickety chairs that are probably bug infested and would break under anyone's weight so she opted to stand around and wait for Jude to get over there so they could make fun of all the campers while they're gathered around.

"Yeah, my parents forced me to come here after finding my stash of --" Jude was cut off as one of the camp counselors had called them over to a platform. He was going to continue, but then the hippie girl had practically ordered them to follow. His eyebrows rose in surprise. Enemy number 1 targeted, he thought before looking at Luna-Sol. There was a flash of anger that didn't go unnoticed.

As they walked over to the platform, Jude nudged Luna-Sol with his elbow. "Don't get bothered by her. If someone has to resort to name calling because of one little thing, then they don't deserve your anger; it just means that they win. Shrug it off and walk like you own the place.  Works for me," he nodded his head over in Judy's direction, "works for her too."

Jude saw a girl with green tips walking over, and he decided to take his leave. He gave Luna-Sol a curt wave before going over to stand next to Judy.

"It's about time someone took some authority around here, I was getting bored," Jude leaned over and mumbled to Judy.

"I kind of wish I had a bit more time to talk to everyone and figure out who'd be the easiest to mess with." Judy sighed. "From the looks of it, these kids don't look like they could even handle a party with Mary Jane, much less want to."

Judy looked over at little miss hippie who had suddenly gotten an attitude change.

"She seemed like the only one being a ~hippie~ and all, but she seems like she'd be a downer to have. Otherwise everyone kind of seems like quiet, little angels." She said the last part with sort of a mocking tone. She didn't have a problem with people being good kiddos or quiet, but the fact that every kid here seemed to be that kind of peeved her.

"I mean where are the psychos who were sent to camp for vandalizing the principal's car, where are the foreign kids who just moved to the states and were sent here to make some friends, where are the high school dropouts and the overly excited guy who wants to go adventuring everywhere? What about geeks and freaks?" Judy lets out another sigh. "You'd think there'd be more people like that here."

Ariella sighed.

"Great Ariella, great way to make friends." She muttered under her breath. "Giving smart Alec comments to everyone you meet, just great. You're obnoxious." She sat down in a chair furthest from anyone else, and watched the camp counselor.

Johnny considered smoking a cigarette thinking no one was going to show, until he saw the campers finally arriving. He began to think of the usual speech he gave every year.

(Why do I even bother?) Johnny thought to himself. (These hooligans never listen anyways...)

Despite his annoyance towards children, Johnny knew it was his job to give them this worn out speech, and he wouldn't let these kids ruin his mood. He tucked his shirt into his shorts as he also began to see the, other camp counselors arrive

Johnny sighed. (Lets get this over with...)

He cleared his phlegmy throat and began to speak loudly

"Hello fellow campers!" He shouted in a happy voice contrary to his mood. "I'm glad to see that we have a great turn out this year!" Another scripted line he was supposed to say. "Welcome to Camp Sunnybrook. Here you will have many fun filled experiences with the many new friends you will make." He paused taking in another breath before speaking again. "My name is Johnny Bunny. Yes, I do get the nickname, 'Bugs Bunny' due to my strange family name. I'd tell you all not to call me it if I didn't know you subordinates wouldn't listen..."

He realized he let his grumpy mood escape his conscious, and began again in a joy filled tone of voice.

"Here are the other camp counselors! There's Meredith Awn, and Rachel McCafferty." He acknowledged them by pointing to them.

He turned back around and began to speak. "Here in Sunnybrook we have many activities. Canoeing, horse back riding, archery. You name it, we have it. We also don't really require you to do any of these activities. You can manage your own time however you wish."

He began to speak in a darker tone.

"Of course, with these privileges, there are a few rules: You all have a curfew of 10:30, about an hour after dinner. After that time you must stay in your cabins until the morning. You also aren't allowed to go into the forest over there." He pointed to the looming forest nearby. "It's very dangerous to go out there on your own, and you will all be monitored to make sure you comply with this rule." Johnny smiled. "Other than that, enjoy your time here. Oh and one more thing, you must let go of all your electronics. Laptops, phones, music players. You won't be needing them here, I assure you. You must come to me and the other camp counselors and we will write a note on them to make sure you get them back when you leave. You can also ask any of us questions should you have any. That is all." Johnny stepped down from the platform and stood by the other counselors as they began to confiscate all electronics from the campers.

Ariella approached Meredith the camp counselor and held out her phone.

"What a weird request, asking for all of these. I doubt any phone would even work out here."

Meredith took the phone from her. "Well, we can't risk having these things getting in the way of you having fun here now can we?"

(Actually my phone WAS my only chance of having fun here...) She mentally uttered.

Meredith tapped the board.

"Name?" She asked gleefully.

"I thought you guys didn't need our names." She retorted.

Meredith began in, a stern tone. Well, I'm asking for it now. Name?"

"Ariella" she finally answered. "Ariella Bennett."

"What a lovely name, Ariella. You have been assigned to the Burgundy cabin. Enjoy your stay, and welcome to camp Sunnybrook."

Torrin was not about to let go of his only link to Teresa. So, he did what he always did in these situations; he slid. The phone into his shoe and pulled his jeans over it, right before he retied his sneakers. He then sat up and, reluctantly, passed over his iPod. Thankfully it was an Touch, so he frign it bring his phone.

Yay paranoia in locking all your electronics. he thought to himself. He didn't bother to keep eye contact; he just waited to be told what cabin he would be thrown in.

Johnny looked to Torrin and sighed.

"Like I haven't seen that before " Johnny muttered, holding out his hand.

"By the looks of you I can tell you didn't just bring an iPod. You're most likely keeping the phone I know you still have to keep in contact with someone, how sweet. But nonetheless, I'll be asking for your remaining electronics." He sighed. "And I need your name."

(To keep things moving, if you guys could just control the counselors to the point of handing in the electronics, and look at your names on the first post to know what cabin you'll be assigned in, that would be great.)

Luna-Sol heard Jude before he gave a wave and returned to be with his friend. Luna-Sol thought about what he said for a bit. "Shrug it off,and walk like you own the place. Hm..."Luna-Sol says. She then looked up to see Meredith Awn holding a green bag with big red letters that spelled 'ELECTRONICS'. She offered her hand. "Please hand over all your electronic devices."Meredith Awn says. Luna-Sol stared for a bit before reaching into her pocket and taking out her phone. Meredith took it and got it inside the bag. "Hand over the rest."Meredith says. Luna-Sol anime sweatdropped and crossed her arms. "That's all I have."Luna-Sol says, not very convincing. Meredith rolled her eyes. "I was a camper too once. You can't really hide anything from me."Meredith insisted. Luna-Sol stared and took out her ipod from her other pocket. Meredith took it and got it in the bag. "You got me,oh well."Luna-Sol says as she turned to walk away, when Meredith grabbed her by the shoulders. She opened Luna-Sol's bag and looked around in it. "Hey!"Luna-Sol protested as Meredith took out a DSi,PSP and a classic GBA. "Not even these are safe. Sorry, but I assure you,you will have lots of fun in the camp. By the time you realize that you won't be missing any of these."Meredith says with a smile as she got the playing devices inside the bag along with the rest electronic devices. Luna-Sol crossed her arms a bit. "What if there's an emergency though? We won't be able to communicate."Luna-Sol says. Meredith laughed a bit. "Don't worry,we have a phone in the headmasters' cabin incase anything happens. Besides,as long as you follow the rules, there shouldn't be anything to worry right?"Meredith says with a sweet smile before walking away to confiscate the rest of the electronics from the rest of the campers. Luna-Sol stared and sighed. "Oh well."Luna-Sol says. She had signed up for this, she might as well go with it. Though she was starting to have second thoughts. She then thought of something and ran up to Meredith. "Wait,I must ask, which cabin am I staying at though? I'm Luna-Sol?"Luna-Sol asked. Meredith quickly took out a list and looked for her name. "Here we go. You will be staying at the Green Cabin. Right over there."Meredith says as she pointed at the directions of the cabins. Luna-Sol followed the gaze to see a green colored cabib, hence its name. It seemed that it haden't been re-painted in a while though. "Right,thanks..."Luna-Sol says as Meredith noded and walked away.

Torrin scowled and handed over his phone. Bugs then told him his cabin was Burgundy.Torrin turned to leave. "You look more like Daffy." He said, hoisting his bag over his shoulder and heading towards the decrepit cabin. Yay. He's never pcking th first name he saw ever again. This already sucked.
