::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted March 16, 2010 I'm finally getting ReCOM tomorrow! *claps giddily* I would really appreciate some advice on the card system and cards in general before I play the game though. So does anyone have any tips or tricks to share? I'm sorry if this is a repeat thread; I looked through and could not see a specific thread about it, only "I need help" threads with no specific title as to what kind of help was needed. :-/

I personally love it cuz it relates so much in a way like Final Fantasy y'kno?? hahaha well anyways, onto the tips: - DO NOT always stock your cards for sleights cuz that can SERIOUSLY screw you over against Axel, Larxene, and Vexen - Whenever you get a new keyblade card, try to format it into your deck to make excellent sleight combinations (i.e. Sonic Blade, Sliding Dash [beginning], etc.) - When you learn the sleight, "JUDGMENT", REPLACE Strike Raid with that IF you're using it. Cuz it's a Strike Raid that's A MILLION TIMEZ better since it circles around and hits enemies around 10 timez!! ahahaha - Even if you may die on Proud or Normal, just try to change up ur strategy [NOT ALWAYS your deck] -_- <- *enlightening face* That'ss all I can givee for now!! ^^; PLEASEE enjoyy it!! This game is HIGHLY under-appreciated and I don't like that one bit! T.T lol Enjoyy Re: Chain of Memories!! =D
Sorage55 10 Posted March 16, 2010 You are able to receive a total of 3 decks of cards. Personally myself, I would make a deck for training and a deck for boss battles. And with each upcoming boss battle you must edit your boss deck to match that boss's weaknesses. Train a HELL of alot until you think your tough enough and then fight the boss. But thats just me...I never had beaten the game on proud mode yet T_T
::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted March 16, 2010 Thanks for the advice everyone! Sora: I'm in America, so I'm getting the American version. Sucks that it's not available anywhere else besides Japan and America. >_< Twilight Chaser: Your advice made me lol. And I know I will enjoy the game, even if I suck at the card system because it has so many of my favorite characters in it. But now for a couple of specific questions: Do spell cards (if that doesn't sound like Yu-Gi-Oh!, I don't know what does. ) have numbers? How do you make sleights? ::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted March 16, 2010 Riku'sAngel: Double posted? You didn't double post... >.> And yes, I mean magic cards! *smacks forehead* Curse my sister and her sudden interest in Yu-Gi-Oh!.... >_< So then, your magic cards have to be stronger than the other person's attack card to work or something? And thank you for the info on slights. Edit: If you saw my angry rant, please disregard it. It just came in. ^_^;
Sorage55 10 Posted March 17, 2010 You will be brushed by a tutorial in the first world you get into in the game (Traverse Town) teaching you sleights and other stuff. They say don't use sleights the entire battle, and I agree...mostly...but if you know your gonna die and you just wanna get it over with then I say "RELOAD! RELOAD! RELOAD!" (catches breathe) but anyways, I use sleights throughout most of the battle. If your using single cards then your card needs to be a higher number than your opponen't card in order to be used. I think the KH TCG is close to Re:CoM rules actually...but idk.
