OOT: Lane used himself as a "Lightning Magnet", so the metal pole wouldnt of had worked. I liked the idea though, t'was nice~

"That will all be quite enough now~" Lane disappeared from Ryka's sight, the clouds cleared, as if forced to. Someone was clapping, as if applauding. The man in white slowly walked into the middle of the battlefield. "Ryka, you were great, and fierce. Joshua, the mystery man of 100 hands, Old man of a kitten (referring to Leo), and everyone else who may be 'lurking' in the shadows, have all made a wonderful performance." He applauded one more time. "Nachi, would you be so kind as to hand me my boy? He seems awfully sick and needs attending to.~" The man in white demanded.

(Actually, Ryka was going to intercept the shot and use her own powers to redirect the bolt into th rod is the thing.)

 

Ryka lowered herself to the ground, her clothes morphing to normal and her wolf ears laying back into her hair. She started to back up, cowering a bit. Out of battle, she was back to the shy, fearful girl. She looked around, then started edging away. She didn't see Elie. So all she could do was prepare to run.

"How did you....." Nachi didn't know how he knew her name. She didn't tell him. Something was wrong.

"N-No. I can't give him to you. Sorry." Nachi said to the man in white. She was too suspicious. She couldn't just give him away like that.

Leo snarled "Call me that.....ONE MORE TIME!!!!" his roar shot across the battle field, sweeping some off there feet and other were at least pushed a little. 

The roar of his lion soul was quite powerful.

 

Matrix arrived back the at was left of school, seeing the man in white. "So he's behind this...."

 

Skylar stepped out of the shadows. "So you knew i was here huh? We'll i could smell your scent for a while as well..... now i know what your up to.. you want the boy's OverSoul... but only a few souls could actually use others souls for there own use......" He took a great sniff of the air and looked at the man in white. "Dragon?"

The man in white held his hat as the Lion roared. "Well. Someone needs a breath mint." He looked at the dark boy, then smiled, not denying anything. "Nachi, my dearest, please hand me the boy, while I am merciful." The man smiled at her, his yellow eye's were exactly those of a Dragon.

Nachi was starting to get scared. She felt like running, but she couldn't give up on Chase. He could be in real trouble.

"N-No." She said staring at the man in white, scared, her heart racing with fear.

Joshua looked at the man in white, everything still extremely blurry from him. "P-performance...?" He asked cluelessly. He was at the brink of death and had a severe lack of blood...and the man called it a performance? "Wh-what do you...mean...?" He continued, having all hope in his chance of living lost. Joshua was eleven...how would he survive when this was likely a mere test?

He began to get impatient. tiny rocks began to rise around the man in white. "Last chance, Nachi, hand him over, or you become dog food." He simply put. He took a quick glance at Joshua, then smirked at him.

Nachi felt a sudden impulse to run with Chase slumped on her back. She quickly shot him on her back and started running, faster than usual. She was surprised she wasn't having the toughest time running either, with Chase's extra weight. She wasn't even breaking a sweat even though she was well away from where she was.

"Chase!!" She yelled, running. " You HAVE GOT TO WAKE UP!"

Yukikuro was JUST about to turn and the man in white then started clapping. She listened to him, confused.

"Who are you? Why do you want one of my classmates?" she asked.

Skylar vanished from where he was stranding the just popped out of Nachi's shadow as she ran off with Chase. "Get him out of here!!!" He was the only one standing in the way between the man in white and the two students. I won't be able to defeat him but maybe i can hold him off while she gets the boy out of here and away from here! Skylar took off his hood and the winds began to speed up around him in a tornado shape the Skylar gained a black, transparent energy formed armor encasing himself; his energy armor resembled a crow; his shoulder pieces wwere his beak  and he had wings and talons on his hands. "Ready?" He asked.

Nachi saw she had someone between her and the man out of the corner of her eye. She kept running.

"Chase!" She breathed. "Please, wake up!"

Electricity crackled as Ryka rose into the air above Skylar, her wolf ears back and her clothing again electric blue. Her lightning, though, was weak, but it was enough in her opinion. She had plenty of energy left.

"You can't have him." She said bravely, feeling the familiar surge of courage from Rai.

I should get myself some weapons... she thought to herself.

Ryka summoned lightning to her hands, ready to do her best MacGrath impression.

Skylar looked up at Ryka then back at the man in white. "We're about to cause one hell of a storm..." Their two powers rushing pass one another caused really dark storm clouds to stir above them, lightning clashing and shadows everywhere. Skylar then vanished within the shadows and the rose right in front of the man reaching his right hand up to his shoulder and grabbing his shoulder-beak, pulling it off for it to transform into a sword; Skylar slashed the man with all of this in one whole motion, a shadowy lag followed the blade dealling multiple blows to the man.

Soma woke up on the floor covered by chunks of the building. He looks through the cracks and sees some pretty insane stuff going on. Any way how did I get here. He looked at parts of his body seeing that he was ok. Man I really want to go out there, but I know I will die. He sat there continuing to watch the terror and commotion go on.

As the slashes came torward the man, the ground under everyone suddenly sand, besides under the man. He dodged the slashes, but his cheek was cut. "Took you long enough, Golem." A giant rock-like Golem forms from the ground, pounding and ripping at the ground, roaring into the sky. The man stood on top of the Golem's shoulder as it stood to it's feet. "Puny, insignificant souls!!!" The Golem roared.

Skylar's reaction time to the ground turning to sand was thankfully quick; resorting to the sky he spread his wings rising to to the sky. Crap no i am rid of the shadows across the ground... i need to make sure everyone gets away without diving into my suicide! "So a dragon, a golem, and a liger? Seems like an insane combo.... what is it your after?!" He demanded answers from the man in white. 

 

Matrix was starting to sink into the sand. "Shit! What the hell his going on here?!" He continued to struggle but the sand began to harden when he was about knee deep. Jerking too hard, Matrix broke his leg and scream. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU---------------------------------------------------------------------------------@#$%&*@#$%&*KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!"

 

Leo also had a quick reaction time but no so quick. Once he realized that the ground turned he let out a roar and the sand immediately hardened.

Nachi ran as fast as she possibly could. At this point she feared for her life. After a while, she was in a more quiet place in town, she then sat down to take a break.

"I think this is far enough..." Nachi breathed as she slumped Chase against a wall and she sat next to him for support.

"Chase?" She said to him. "You need to wake up."

Skylar looked back and saw that the man in white's target was now gone. Now everyone else needs to leave!

Ryka shrinked back, her wolf ears drooping with fear. Her lightning started to fade as she lowered to the ground.

Now she just wanted Elie.

Or Ellie...either worked.

"E-Elie?" She said fearfully, now floser to the ground.

Joshua slightly sunk down as he sat in the sand. Just regular sand, no threat at all. He stared at the golem with a bit of fear, he was paralyzed and stiff-- pale and weak-- whether the golem were there or not...he couldn't move if he wanted to. Joshua noticed the man in white's smirk, and felt a but unnerved, trying to stay as calm as possible while immobilized. (What'd I do to deserve all of this...?) Joshua thought to himself. His eyes began to water up but did not flow as tears quite yet.

The man in white laughed a little as Golem looked to the ground. "What am I after? Immortality of course~ Chase is someone who I will need for this. Though now I have no clue where he is.... I will leave for now. Until then, Tata~" Golem ripped through the ground and with the man in white, they both disappear. 

 

Elie~

 

She wakes up near a river by the town, unsure of how she got there. "Wha..? Where... am I...?" She was tired and groggy, and fell back asleep, then sank back into the ground.

Chase~ 

 

Where....am I....? He was dreaming, falling with feathers of fire, those of a phoenix. A baby phoenix slowly falls onto him. You...you helped me.....thank you....

He hugged the baby phoenix with care, it's body formed with his. Chases body faded in fire. 

 

Together.... we can help those in need.... please....lend me your strength....

 

(Chase Woke up where he was) 

He started coming to, lifting his head and looking around slightly. "Where..." he was unable to move much, since he was weak.

Startled, Nachi looked at Chase, not expecting him to wake up then.

"Thank God you're up...." Nachi said. "There's a.... A guy after you. He said he needs you. But I know you don't know him. I didn't trust him. I ran off with you on my back and here we are. Lost." Nachi laughed a little.

Chase looked up at Nachi, then weakly smiled. "Thanks.." he tried standing up, but failed. "Gee.... i'm exhausted..." he fell back down, not knowing why he was all so weak. maybe it must have been from that unknown power he had just received.

Managing to escape from the white man, Yukikuro ran back to the orphanage where she was soon attended too.
