Soren looked at her a bit coldly. His arm relaxed a bit. He regarded the girl. She was cute, yeah. But what was special about her? Just a girl? What exactly was her weapon?Soren frowned. The boy though...shuriken. But how many did he have? How was he alive, looking like that?Soren looked back at the girl."Rathnik." He said simply, without any emotion. He just sighed.Standing there, he waited

Brandon jumped over the fence too. He pulled out his dagger. Looking at the ground, he searched for any other humans or demons. They could be hiding in the fairly long but cut grass. Loriana and Monicca pushed themselves up and readied their blade weapons. "I'm sorry, but you cannot go any farther!" Loriana said. "And why not? Are there any more humans?" Brandon demanded. "Maybe. Possibly possessed, but yeah," Monicca explained.

Sampson sighed and put away the poison shuriken into his pouch.

He sighed. "Uprising? I hardly believe in such nonsense. Even if there was a group of resistors, it would be pointless for them to do anything against the demons."

Sampson rolled his eyes, then looked to the mansion.

"I've heard rumors about places like these." He began. "It's basically a human manufacturer base. Demons capture humans, and if they see them as worthy, posses them. Everyone else is tortured and put under manual labor."

He glanced away from the mansion and briefly closed his eyes. "I should've noticed it earlier. I don't know why I kept waking towards it. Am I really that hungry and thirst-"

He immediately paused and looked down. He didn't want to let the others know his weak condition, but then realized that if they didn't already notice it, they had to have been blind anyways. He looked away from the others out of stubbornness.

Maybe that's why he was so pale when i found him, she thought as she stared at him. If i had any food or water i would give it to him but i just finished the last of my food supply; speaking of which i never learned is name but should i really be asking now? Akane finally spoke and said: "well the building kinda caught my attention too so maybe there's something worth looking into about the mansion." Akane looked at the stranger. "Were you going to check out this place too? We can all go in there together." Since when did i start suggesting team work out of nowhere, she thought

Soren rolled his eyes, then slid a granola bar out of his pack and tossed it to the malnourished kid.

"Eat. Your gonna die soon if you don't..." he looked at the mansion. "Hope is gone for me. But don't loose yours so easily."

He stepped towards the gates, drawing his other pistol. "Vengeance awaits. I have demons to kill."

He checked the guns before siming at the gates. He was obviously about to go in, alone, without a second thought.

 

Then he paused. "I've been alone for too long to function with others. All I am is alone, kid. All I have is vengeance."

 

(He has suicidal tendencies )

As stubborn as Sampson was, he wasn't stupid. He immediately unwrapped the bar and consumed it within two seconds.

He looked to Soren. Another thing he wasn't was rude. His mother taught him better.

"Thanks." Sampson muttered, and looked to the woman as well.

"I'm sorry I was uptight. It's instinctual, I didn't survive 16 years by shaking hands with everyone."

He looked back to Soren. "Are you sure you wanna do this?" Sampson asked. "By yourself is suicide."

Loriana and Monicca turned to see a big group. Loriana went to check it out, while Monicca stayed to 'look after' Brandon. Brandon held his dagger to Monicca's neck. He was short, but not much shorter than an average demon. "Tell me. TELL ME! Are there demons here? Besides you two?"

"I lost everything kid. Thirteen years of training to fight with what I have. I have no hope and nothing to fight for except vengeance. So I will go alone and fight until I die or prevail. Because that actually is all I have left; Vengeance."He lowered the pistols slightly, not moving from his spot. "You understand that? Now you get why I'm doing this with or without ya?" Because I have given up seeing her again. Free.

~Olivia~

 

Olivia jumped through an open window, noticing a couple demons knocked out. 'Will spared them?' Olivia gritted her teeth. She would've been happy to kill them but right now she had to find Will. Olivia dashed through the mansion using the knocked out demons as a guide.

 

~Will~

 

After searching the mansion, and beating up demons, Will finally arrived in front of a huge double doors; obviously the master bedroom. Without hesitiation, Will kicked the doors open sending them flying through the air as he walked inside the bedroom. It was extremely dark as curtains covered the windows, and not a single light switch could be seen. Will cautiously walked around in a battle position searching for the master demon but the demon was no where in sight. Suddenly, glowing red eyes appeared behind Will as the figure kicked Will in the back. Will fell to the ground but got up quickly as the figure came into view. It was a 19 year old woman with dirty blonde hair that reached to her shoulders, white tank top, ripped up shorts, and brown leather boots that reached nearly up to her knees. Will had to admit, but she was beautiful.

"So you're the one who's attacking my mansion. Will Barnett, a weak little demon that sided with the humans." The girl demon scowls as she took out twin daggers all coated with blood, probably from the people she fought in the past. Now Will doesn't think she's pretty as the woman lunged at Will intended to kil.

The demon attacked at such alarming speed, Will was only fast enough to block with his katana. He quickly took out his own dagger using it for defense while his katana for offence. "You're a really good fighter, what's your name?" Will asked as he blocked another strike from her. "Sera Kat." The demon answered. Sera was nibble like a cat as she slipped through his defense and managed to give Will a cut to his right shoulder.

"Maybe seven," Monicca answered. "Dunno. Hey! I have a friend near here that needs you!" "WHAT!?" "Yeah!" Monicca poked Brandon in the knee with her katana. He fell over and she stripped off the amulet around his neck. "Bow down to pure victory!" Brandon jumped over and tried to get the amulet back, but Monicca was too tall. "What's wrong, human? Weakness tugging at your body?"

~Will~

 

Will cringed as the pain exploded into his right shoulder. Blood spilled out and it was getting difficult to keep his katana up to attack. "You should realize, even if humans win, there's no happy ending for you. All the demons would be dragged back to hell for punishment, but you'll recive the worst punishment. However, I can spare you if you work for me." Sera purred. Will dropped his dagger on his left hand and put his left hand over his bloody right shoulder trying to stop it from bleeding. "I rather die." He answered.

"Then have fun in hell traitor." As Sera raised her dagger.

Soren blasted the locks off and kicmed the gate open, the thunder of his Taurus PT-90s echoing into the distance. He walked through, weapons raised, already tracking the areas demons would usually come from.

"Watch my back or cower in the dirt. Your choice." He said simply, already gunning down approaching demons. "And don't get in my way."

Soren just continued towards the front doors, gunning down demons with a cool precision until his adveraaries stayed back. "Running in straight lines. What idiots."

"Give it back!" Brandon shouted. Monicca held it out to him. He reached for it, but Monicca tossed it away. Brandon ran to get it. Loriana just grabbed it as he arrived. Loriana threw it to Monicca and the two continued teasing Brandon by hurling it back and forth. "Why do you annoy me?" Brandon yelled. Monicca was about to throw the amulet to Loriana, but the middle glowed red. Monicca tossed onto the road. "Thanks!" Brandon muttered as he hopped over the fence again.

~Will~

 

Sera cocked her head as she heard the sound of bullets in the distance. "Another intruder?" Sera said. 'Is it Olivia? No it can't be her. She would sneak around instead of making a racket.' Will thought. Suddenly a bullet hit Sera's arm and she screeched in pain. Will took the chance to switch his katana to his left hand and stabbed Sera in the chest. Sera let out a louder scream that shook the mansion and the demon left the body back into hell. Taking the katana out of Sera's chest, Will turned to see Olivia at the doorway with her pistols pointing at the dead demon. "Do I always have to save your sorry ass?" Olivia said as she put her pistols back in her backpack.

"Sorry..." Will groaned in pain as his left hand reached for for right shoulder. Olivia hurried over to him with a first aid kit. "You're useless." She muttered as Olivia took out a towel and applied pressure to the wound. Neither of them talked as Olivia bandaged Will's shoulder. "Hey Olivia, were you one who was making all that noise out there?" Will asked. Olivia frowned. "No, that wasn't me."

Will quickly got up. "We should get the humans out of here as fast as possible then." Olivia rolled her eyes. "Not with you all hurt like that. Just stay hidden outside the mansion while I get all the humans free. Besides, humans panic when they see you."

"Yes mam." Will said.

Akane watched as the stranger opened the gates and started attacking demons. "Well i guess there's no point standing here..." she muttered and opened her scythe (http://25.media.tumblr.com/22007013690bbdf59e43666efa63e458/tumblr_mfy2kpLF0H1qgw8uro1_400.gif) and followed after him. She looked back to the other guy that she still hadn't learned the mane of. "Come on." she said to him and went inside past the gates. She looked around to see the amount of demons that were moving into the area. one leaped for her but she sliced it right in half effortlessly. Annoying pests, she thought as she stared at the remains of the one she just killed.

Sampson rolled his eyes."Ugh, fine." Sampson muttered grabbing one of his shurikens and following the girl in.He then asked a question that had been on his mind for a while."Do you have a name, or should I just call you doll?" He whispered jokingly yet still on his guard. He held out his hand. "I'm Sampson, and I'm pleased to meet you."

Akane looked back at him. Doll eh, she thought. "The name's Akane." she said and shook his hand. This could probably be her first time working with someone. She was always by herself but she got used to it. "Pleased to meet you too." she said. Another demon was rushing towards them but she shot it straight in the face with her scythe rifle without taking her eyes off Sampson. "I guess we should hurry and catch up with that other guy over there before he leaves us behind." She suggested

"Rathnik." Was all Soren said as he holstered Vengeance and Damnation, grasping his sword and drawing it. "I'll go inside first. You two follow." He sliced a demon in half before getting to the door.

Soren kicked the door, then used the broadsword to hack it a bit before kicking it in. Demons looked up as Sorenstepped in. He sheathed Requiem and let his hands hover over Vengeance and Damnation.

"Feeling lucky?" He said to them as Akane and Sampson fought the last few eemons outside.

 

The demons rose and charged as Soren raised his guns and fired.

 ~Olivia~ 

 

 Olivia peered out the window to see demons flooding out of the mansion. 'More demons?' She thought. Then she noticed 3 people attacking the demons with amazing skill as they sliced and slashed the demons. "Humans? Will, take a look at this." She said as Will walked over to her side and looked out too. "It looks like we're not the only ones who's still fighting." Will grinned. 

 "Alright then, change of plans, I'll go help those humans over there, while you stay here and out of sight. We don't want those humans think you're the bad guy. After I clear everything up with them, you can go ahead and show your face." Olivia explained. Will nodded as he walked back to the master bedroom. Olivia took out her sniper rifle from her backpack and opened the window. She looked through her scope pointing at a demon's head. Then she pulled the trigger. The 3 humans turned to Olivia's direction by the sound and Olivia gave them a thumbs up to assure them that she was on their side. 

 

 ~Will~ 

 

 'So not cool, I could be beating up demons, but nope I have to stay here.' Will lied down on the king size bed bored out of his mind. His right shoulder throb and Will knew he wouldn't be able to fight for a while.

Sampson nodded, following Akane. A demon leaped above them, and Sampson quickly threw a shuriken at it, penetrating it's neck as it fell to the ground.He observed his surroundings, and was awed by his sightings. Aside from the fact that the mansion was demon run, he couldn't help but be amazed by the elegant marble floors, the large spiral staircases, and the large windows."I wouldn't mind living here, if I didn't know Id'd become possessed..." He sighed continuing following AkaneHe paused for a moment. "Hey Akane... If I get possessed... will you put me out of my misery?" He asked. "Will you... Kill me?"

Akane stopped dead in her tracks and lowered her scythe. "Kill...you..?" she muttered. Such a tough question to answer, she thought. she wouldn't even know what to do if someone she knew were to be possessed by a demon. The whole experience of getting possessed by one even scarred her for life. No, she thought, i allow sampson to get possessed. Akane tuned to look at him. "i'm not sure what i would do honestly but you wont get possessed." she said and grinned. She swiftly raised her scythe and shot a demon from behind her. Damn demons keeps killing the mood, she thought and sighed

He wore a fake smile and continued on. Akane had no idea about Sampson's family background. And what his mother had said, he was a "perfect candidate" for possession. He thought of the horrible deeds his possessed family members have done, and what he would do if he followed his family's footsteps. He needed reassurance that that would never happen to him. Even if it meant death."So is there a goal we're trying to accomplish? Or is it just an extermination?" He asked jokingly.

Soren lowered his guns as the last demon fell. Sixty bullets, twelve dead demons. Straight lines. He glanced behind him, reloading before holstering the guns.

"Let's get the people out then." He said in a hollow voice. He started heading forward, one hand on a pistol. He yawns, feeling fatigued. He had walked far and fought hard. What he wanted was some sleep. But he had people to save.

"You get the ground floor. Obviously other Uprising are upstairs.

Soren started heading up the stairs

"A little of both maybe?" she said and slashed at another few demons. "I was just curious about this place and it's not like i had anything else to do." Akane watched the guy head upstairs. Other uprising? so i guess everyone is just going to evade this place, she thought. Akane took a load of bullets from her puch and loaded it into the rifle part on her scythe. seriously, is this mansion just full of petty demons, she thought, i was actually hoping for more of a challenge seeing that i havent fought in a few days.She raised her scythe and started blasting at the remaining demons
