There are times when we ask ourselves, what is responsibility? To some, it's a word that symbolizes commitment. To others, it means to be true to one self and take care of anything that needs taken care of. To me, responsibility is like an oath that one makes to oneself. Life comes by with many happy moments, and with many good things for us, but in order for us to be able to enjoy the many joys of life, we must be responsible. Let's call it equivalent exchange. In other words, when you put your mind to something, make sure that you have all necessary preparations, and remember that everything you do depends on your action, and the responsibility you have in each consequence or benefit the actions you do have. But it doesn't just apply to yourself, it also applies to your friends, and family, and loved ones. To friends, responsibility is making sure that you're there for each other when the going gets rough, and have the guts to stick up to a fellow friend in need. To family, it's the responsibility to make sure that everything is kept in order and that you do the best you can to make your life the best of all. To your loved ones, it's a responsibility to be loyal, to be truthful, and to face adversity in the eye and overcome it with mind, body, heart and soul. Responsibility is a term that is universal. It's like Uncle Ben said: "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility." The power you have is to make change in this slowly decaying world, and the responsibility you have is to yourself and all those around you.
