TwiliLord 232 Posted January 19, 2013 Doesn't really affect me cuz the Wii's dead anyways, and the least decent game to come out was Xenoblade and maybe The Last Story. Nintendo isn't developing for the Wii anymore anyways. Does it affect you guys?
Cricket 1,180 Posted January 19, 2013 I have Xenoblade and I never even really played it... >_>;;; Anyway, this does affect me since I spent so much money on the game and I never really got to buy games for it since it sucked, kinda.
Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted January 19, 2013 It only affects me now that Pandora's Tower is being localized finally. >> 1 Gripper reacted to this
Tails 6,692 Posted January 19, 2013 Not really since a lot of developers have stopped making games for the Wii so it's pretty understandable. A lot of poeple nowadays want a Wii U since it's Nintendo's next-gen console. Though i am a bit disappointed that i won't be able to pre-order Pandora's Tower. it seems like I'll have to just make sure I get it before they are all sold out in stores. Hei 3,233 Posted January 19, 2013 Nah, I can really only see Movie based games (terrible games) coming out for the Wii still. Aside from maybe a few good titles...MAYBE. 2 FireRubies1 and _The Door To Light_ reacted to this
FireRubies1 1,325 Posted January 19, 2013 I love Nintendo and my Wii's been dead to me for a long time now.... I only use it to play my old Gamecube games anyways . This doesn't really matter to me since I never really pre-ordered things anyway.
Think Pink 1,967 Posted January 19, 2013 I honestly haven't touched my Wii in months, and I'm quite picky in what I play on there anyway, so this probably isn't going to affect me at all.
P50L 610 Posted January 23, 2013 I haven't even touched my Wii games at all ever since I've beaten most of them. Although I wanna try out Xenoblade >>

OthersiderME 614 Posted January 26, 2013 You know what else Gamestop isn't accepting pre-orders for? Fire Emblem Awakening. The entire company ran out of stock. 3 Jilly Shears, Gripper and TwiliLord reacted to this

Shazzam 142 Posted January 26, 2013 You know everytime I walk in to Gamestop I get lied to, and everytime I walk out I feel cheated. At this point I've excepted that they're some greedy SOBs and I'll try my best to avoid them. It's amazing how bad an expirience you can have at a VIDEO GAME RETAIL STORE. But, meh, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. More on topic, this news would have effected me back when I had my Wii, but it was stolen... not by Gamestop, but a by a burglar... I actually wouldn't put it past them though.

Geralt 4,874 Posted January 27, 2013 Well a new model type whatever you wanna call it came out for Wii, and no one want's to develop for the old models when the Wii U is the new deal, they did the same with all the other consoles, SNES, PS2, PS1, Gamecube, etc etc etc.

Gripper 6 Posted January 27, 2013 That the wii isnt being developed anymore which is why it's not able to be pre-ordered That isn't what you just said. You just said that no one wants to develop for a dead console. That has nothing to do with pre-ordering. I can pre-order the game everywhere else but GameStop, they're just too quick to judge when games will stop releasing for the Wii; and maybe they'll re-open it for a bit. Who knows? It does have to deal with the pre-ordering and such, how to explain this, well Developers stopped developing for the Wii and do Wii U now this game was made before the Wii U came out obviously and was meant for Wii, Gamestop I imagine thinks that more people now have a Wii U and only care about pre-orders and such for that so they stopped pre-ordering for this game because they thought it wouldn't hit the market well enough. I don't know, I used to love Gamestop, it was the only place I would get my games from. Then, all of a sudden, I would go to buy a game, and come out feeling disrespected and cheated, on more than one occasion. I've had some good expiriences from Gamestop, but there are alot more bad ones.
