Ben G 166 Posted January 18, 2013 I liked my college but wasn't passing enough classes to justify going anymore and I don't feel like finding a new school and starting over

AntonioKHT 449 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) Well, what i like more about school is my friends. I sometimes feel that it's all very stupid, because there are many things that I judge not worth being learned, but I know it's a big deal to my life, and I try to understand and just go on. So more or less, I like some stuff, but some things could get better... Edited January 18, 2013 by AntonioKHT

Setrex 1,031 Posted January 18, 2013 Last semester for me was brilliant at college. That was more so for the socialising rather than the actual work though... Oddly enough I am bored of my month off for Christmas and can't wait to go back this Monday o.o
Shazzam 142 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm enjoying college as of now. I feel the freedom and responsibillity of being an adult. I began feeling trapped and stuck in a rut at the end of high school, but here its not as stressful or constricting. Though now I'm paying for it, so I'm always focused on my goals. In a nerdy way, getting an education is fun!
Caity 3,946 Posted January 18, 2013 I generally don't like most people in my school, my school typically was one that chavs, millies and generally spoilt self-obsessed people flocked to, the majority of people I get on with all attended the same school on the other side of town, and I would have changed except I won't get up early for no one, and my teachers genuinely care about whether I (and the rest of the pupils) do well or not, moving deadlines, doing afterschool and before school revision clubs, giving up their free time to make better notes and stuff to help us. And I've done pretty well with it so far, considering I was the highest in Junior 1-3, then GCSE then AS (finishing my A2s this year). There are 5 people in my school I get along with and without them I'd probably have jumped in front of a bus by now walking out of it.

Shazzam 142 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) If that is the way to go for ya, that's okay but forcing students to school is Schindelhuber's style since 1939 in Germany. Homeschooler, unschooler, where are you? Um... no one's being forced here. As a sentient being, I have the free will to decide to do whatever I want. If I don't want to go to school, I don't have to. If I want to jump off a bridge or steal a car, I can. All my decisions. That being said, I feel no regret in enrolling myself in an institution of higher learning to better myself. Anyway, I could have sworn the topic was if we enjoyed school or not, and there's no need for your rude, contempt-filled comments toward my response. Good day maddam. A mystery 346 Posted January 19, 2013 For the most part I enjoy attending my college. Sure there are some classes that can be a little boring. However, I always find learning something new everytime I go makes it worth my time. Most of the staff there is kind there too, so that's a plus. ^_^ I have also really enjoyed taking piano lessons on campus.
