Lighting Returns: FF XIII - Releasing September - November 2013

Recommended Posts

Square Enix have announced Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for a "Autumn 2013" release for North America and Europe. Due to different seasons, this is Spring in Australia. In other words the game will be released in North America, Australia and Europe in either September, October or November 2013.

Square Enix announced this via the extended version of the Jump Festa 2013 trailer with the European version stating "Autumn 2013" and the North American version stating "Fall 2013".

The Japanese version however did not state a release date.

is this the big update you were talking about ?! hope not  :P

I'm guessing the big update was the multiple recent topics on it.

Anyway, yay! :D It's good to have a release date for it unlike versus 13

Final Fantasy XIII release date was December 17, 2009

Final Fantasy XIII-2 release date was December 15, 2011

Now looking at these dates it seems like although it does says Autumn 2013 as a release date for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy, I think this game is also going to be released in December.

I forgot about North America's weird season dates. We end our seasons when a month ends.

Blame the Solstices and the Equinoxes :P Normally people stop considering it fall once December comes along.

I hope it releases in October, then I can get it for my birthday :D
