Possible endings to KH3

Recommended Posts

Since a "happy" ending to the saga is pretty much expected, maybe Nomura will give it a really sad surprise twist. While Xehanort will be dead, others on the good side might be too, as a result of the war.

Nomura LOVES to rip your heart out, lmao. I wouldn't be surprised. D: It'd be intense.

It'll probably be cliche though with everyone alive at the end. But who knows. Only Nomura...>:/

We have enough sad endings already, it's time to put things back how they should be. :DBasically they can have the crap beaten out of them as long as they're okay in the end

A good question would be what exactly might happen to Xehanort in the end. Just saying the bad guy dies is way too simple.

I would be waiting for Xehanort introducing a new threat (for the new SAGA) but in the same time he will die . Terra will be extinguished . Aqua will go back at the Land Of Departure , Ven will still be in Sora's heart , Master Eraqus extinguished like Terra,Lea alone in clock tower eating ice cream (fat guy lol) , Donald and Goofy still training under Yen Sid . Isa and Braig extinguished , while Sora and Riku go back at their home . However this new threat i mentioned before won't just be discovered from Xehanort but soon (New SAGA) Sora will find out . Oh i forgot Mickey . He just get back at his castle.

But I would want a happier ending. It has a hint in the end of DDD where u see Ven grin. I heard it meant he might come back.. And I would like to see Terra,Aqua and Eraqus back. I hope it will happen...

I have noticed that at the end of every book series I have read where there has been a war of some sort, there has never been a completely happy ending.  All of the main/good characters always come out of that war with a scar of some sort; be it psychological, physical, or both. And a lot of times that initial metaphorical scar will repeatedly heal and be torn open again, especially during the final battle. I think what I am trying to say is that the ending to kh3 will inevitably have a melancholy note to it inside of the happy part.

Well the storyline has to focus on Sora. Besides Sora fighting MX, I wonder how they would focus on Sora.

But we all can think of endless scenarios of what'll happen in KH3 until KH3 is finally released.

If we're looking at the bare minimum tragic endings are just as "cliche" as happy endings because there are really only three ways you can go: happy, sad, bitter-sweet.

KH has never had a genuine happy ending, the closest its gotten is the better end of the bitter-sweet stick. KH3 I think will be the first game to have a genuine happy ending, the majority of main protagonist have suffered throughout the series one way or another and having it end with at least one of them dying would be just to rub salt in the wounds. A death/tragic ending won't necessarily make the story "better" (or worse) but I don't think that's the kind of ending it needs.

Why ? lol

Because that ending is sad! I like dramatic stories but with a happy ending at least, and I think all characters in KH, well, most of them, deserve a happy and good ending.

I thought KH2's ending was pretty happy.

I thought KH2's ending was pretty happy.

It was leaning on the bitter-sweet side but then made even more so as the series expanded. We have the up side, Sora and Riku are back home, Kairi and MDG are waiting for them, and Org. XIII is defeated, but then we have Namine, Roxas, and now Xion still trapped in Sora and Kairi unable to live as their own selves.

It is true that Nomura alone knows what the ending holds in store, twist it, and make us take a left and right all over the place. The thing that seems clear to me is that in the end all of the darknesses will be defeated and Ventus, Terra, and Aqua will give the final blow to Master Xehanort. None of the seven lights will die.

I'm hoping Sora and his entourage will go on a journey of sorts to find and unite all the other keyblade wielders (Roxas, Aqua, etc). While assembling this dream team, they'll periodically defeat members of the Xehanort league/"True" Organization XIII (I couldn't play Dream Drop due to lack of a 3DS, but that's what seems to be the next antagonist group based on LPs).

When fully prepared and whatnot, they'll battle the original Xehanort in some epic scenario, and then a new enemy will be hinted at. More, of course, will be revealed in a Secret Movie at the end and a Final Mix game.

I actually don't want MX to be the very last boss (too predictable and bland); instead, one of the heroes should try to use KH for Eraqus-purposes in desperation to undo MX's damage permanently (a few of them, particularly TAV, would have very understandable reason to hate Darkness).Nomura said Sora Vs. MX will inevitably happen, that much is certain; however, it could still work as the semifinal battle without losing climax points.

MX is going to be so intimidating to fight, as it will FINALLY be the real deal of the whole saga... ._. ...I'm going to be all "...Oh shit!!" and expect to get my ass handed to me a few times, lol.

Yeah I'm almost certain that'll happen as well, but just gotta wait out the 3 (4? :/) YEARS to actually know...*sigh*

Oh maybe. If I am correct (and you might agree with this), the major part of the ending that should be anticipated is the secret ending.

We'll know if  we're good and deserve a treat.

I'm guessing most of the true org. will be killed off, but not all of them. Somehow, a few will break Master Xehanort's control, but since they're still filled with darkness, they'll  continue to be evil and thus be the main villains in future games. I'm guessing they'll be one or two of the unknown characters, and possibly Braig.
