VisitJoan 2,713 Posted January 14, 2013 Which Pokemon gym is the one you can't stand or had the most trouble with? For me it was Hearthome City. Not only did I have to try 5 times to get the badge, but the math was annoying every time I went in there.

rainbowdash64 194 Posted January 14, 2013 Oh god him. I replayed Emerald and I STILL couldn't beat him. >> I just beat him on sapphire yesterday. I had to power level to 34 before I could beat his level 22. He kept paralyzing me! Then confusing me. *desk flip*
VanitasisKirby 1,227 Posted January 14, 2013 The gym in Sunnyshore City. =w= I spent at least an hour trying to reach the Gym leader.

Ajexmi 446 Posted January 14, 2013 I can't really say I struggle with any gyms across the series, but the couple that struck me as irritating were Whitney (bitch and her Miltank ) and Claire (but she's a nice challenge as a last gym leader). 1 Dio Brando reacted to this

Ajexmi 446 Posted January 14, 2013 O.o Took me one try to be Whitney..........Elesa in Black 2..... I haven't played B2/W2... are the gyms the same? other than Cheren becoming a gym leader? The Dragon-type gyms in Silver/Gold, and in Black/White. For some reason, I always have trouble with them. The strongest and most reliable type of pokemon. Of course most people would find them a challenge as it requires a well balanced, strong team and will tend to be at the end of games

TraverseLight 133 Posted January 14, 2013 Gyms where the floor moves you, wind blows you away, or have random switches in garbage cans that need to be found to open the gate- pretty much any gym with obstacles as opposed to just trainers in your way
Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted January 14, 2013 Brock in Yellow (or with Charmander as a starter in RB), Whitney's Miltank, Claire's Kingdra, Winona's Ataria, and Clay's Excadrill all haunt my dreams.

Ajexmi 446 Posted January 14, 2013 Whitney. She's hard as crap if you don't know what to do. Take her on level 20, don't be afraid to use sand attack (lowers the chance of being hit by a powerful Rollout) and failing all else go get TM28 (Dig), I see what you mean by hard if you don't know what you're in for! lol
Rob 5,571 Posted January 14, 2013 I honestly dont remember. But I'll go with Whitney.

Ajexmi 446 Posted January 14, 2013 Well, two new people, both females are introduced as new gym leaders. A poison type and water type. Surprisingly, water is the last gym.... oh okay. So Cheren isn't a leader? and Water isn't totally surprising. Think of Emerald - The champion uses only water types!
SoraBlade 832 Posted January 14, 2013 oh okay. So Cheren isn't a leader? and Water isn't totally surprising. Think of Emerald - The champion uses only water types! Yes. Cheren IS a leader, but there's two more as well. 1 Ajexmi reacted to this
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted January 14, 2013 oh okay. So Cheren isn't a leader? and Water isn't totally surprising. Think of Emerald - The champion uses only water types! Cheren is the Asperita City gym leader. Others are Roxie and Marlon. The Dragon-type gyms in Silver/Gold, and in Black/White. For some reason, I always have trouble with them. Yes, Dragon-type gyms are annoying, but at least the anime version of Clair is awesome.

As long as your Pokemon know some ice-type moves, it's almost easy.
