Not saying that you are wrong or anything, I just don't see how it got destroyed by the battle. :-/

 

And if it did get destroyed, then does that mean that Pete and Maleficent get destroyed as well? :huh:

Not sure if you noticed, but after Kairi went through the Portal back to the Destiny Islands, The Castle started to crumble upon the awakening of Xemnas's dragon gummi...thing. In the stage after the gummi battle, Xemnas throws bits and pieces of the buildings from the City at you, thus destroying the world in the process. In the final battle, you are in the area of Nothingness, because the world that once resides in the Realm of InBetween has been destroyed.

 

Maleficent and Pete somehow manage to escape the World That Never Was, as they make an appearance in Coded, which is the next game chronologically.

It doesnt say that the whole world got destroyed. It says the castle and Dark City got messed up, but that doesnt mean that the actual world itself was destroyed.

It doesnt say that the whole world got destroyed. It says the castle and Dark City got messed up, but that doesnt mean that the actual world itself was destroyed.

 

I don't mean to sound rude, but... the Dark City and the Castle were the only parts of the world.

So the world itself must be destroyed.
